  • #sunsalutations are the first of the practices in Yoga asana. Sun Salutations heal the body and strengthen the mind. There are 14 types of #sunsalutations out of which in two videos i will explain the two most important ones. In the Ashtanga Yoga series as taught by Sri Krishnamacharya these two #sunsalutations form the basis or the core of all the other asana practices. When we practice #sunsalutations all the muscles tone up, especially the #hamstrings . It incorporates deep breathing and improves overall #muslcetone. The movement of the sun salutations form the basis for the other poses which help us practice other postures which we will share later on in the series.
