No mention of who makes the parts you are using. That would be useful.
Yes, it would be useful to know the name of the part, or what it's called, or the brand.
Great video. You have Rainbird... Do you know if this works with Hunter? That's what I have.
What do you call those things that you replaced the sprinkler heads with?
these guys/ these deals? ... wtf? how are we supposed to know what the hell you have and where you purchased from? not very informative at all.
what kind of tubing is that? is it already perforated or did you perforate it?
Please retitle to Want To See My Drip Routing In My Garden?
Can you put a link to the products you used? I need to do this, too. Thanks
Did you have to get a pressure regulator? The pressure isn’t too much for that thin tubing? Thanks!
Where can I buy this item?
thinking that you may have too much length of 1/4”. you’ll get a lot of pressure drop, and emitters (drippers) will not perform as needed. so, run as much 1/2” around the perimeter and use short 1/4” laterals to each plant/pot.
What brand of sprinkler is that? Were those acquired through HD or Ls?
I was hoping a certain little curly headed girl would make an appearance :)
jules digs :)
I didn't make it to any girl b/c at 0:37, the video really put the easy in wow this is getting complicated
would you need to cap off other sprinklers in the same zone?
Not if you're still watering a lawn, etc.
But if you're completely converting an area to drip, then yes, you would want to cap off other sprinkler heads.
The part used for the adapter looks like a Rainbird 1800 Retro kit.
If I have a zone with multiple sprinkler heads to I need to replace all of them with the T connection you used and run the wider tube between them? and lines coming off to the plants / trees? Or will the pressure regulator inside one, or 2, of these be enough to keep my pipes from bursting underground?
looks tacky though. Too many visible lines all over the place. Like it was a DIY'er that did it.
Would you recommend putting the lawn sprinkler and drip irrigation line in the same zone? Or is it better to keep it in a separate zone to set a micro schedule for plants?
We have them separate and I just feel like that works better since the lawn is a little more drought tolerant than say my tomato plants.
You’re a life saver!!
Where to buy these tools ?
