this worked AMAZING! After months of applying product after product and being so confused as to why it didn't work so well it turns out it was just the drying and now my hair looks exactly like I've wanted it to. you're a life saver!!! xx
SUPER helpful!!! Thank you!! We have similar hair types, & I’m definitely going to try a couple of your techniques! Thanks so much for sharing! 💕
Oh my goodness I actually just bought this diffuser!! I’m so excited. I’ve never had a diffuser before. 😋🥳🤗🤗
Thanks for all the wonderful tips I just purchased the silicone diffuser but I will also purchase the one you have.
I just bought that diffuser and adapter and I can't wait to try your whole routine.
Well it's wonderful to have someone from the UK with same curl type as me & provided links for UK suppliers! Thank you!
i started doing this 2 days ago and im in love, my curls and colour is exactly like yours and people were complimenting me left right and centre, Thank you so much! 💓💓
Out of All the videos I’ve watched, your videos reveal curls that look perfect!

Well this is perfect. I just washed my hair and never knew my mother had a diffuser. My hair dryer doesn't. but might be stealing hers
I cannot wait to try this method out! I've tried different methods and they didn't work for me so I cannot wait to try yours!
Amen!! You habe my curl type/hair 😍
Your hair is amazing Hannah and very long and beautiful like a Goddess!!! Thanks for the video!!!
Thank you! You are welcome 🧡
Oh wow, I'm definitely gonna try out your diffusing technique on my next wash day! My hair is suuuper similar to yours (curl type, "problem areas", even the color :D) and I've only recently started taking proper care of my curls and the diffusing techniques I've tried so far don't really seem like they're 100% right for my hair. Can't wait to see my results when I try out yours!
hey! your videos are so helpful! thank you sm for making them my hair has improved SO MUCH since i found your channel! love u ❤️❤️
Aww this makes me SO happy, I’m so glad I’ve helped 😘🧡🧡
Down on your hands and knees?? I just sit on the edge of the tub or coffee table and flip my head over. Your end result is magnificent my dear Merida!
Haha, yeah, I like to lean my hair on the floor to support it, otherwise the weight stretches my fine curls out. Thank you ☺️☺️
Hi, what is the colour of your hair? I love it. Thank you for all your advises.
I just tried your diffusing method and I have gotten the best results so far as I have been trying to find what works best for my hair. My hair had the best definition after washing so far. Thank you!!! 😊
I'm trying it right now!! Goin' good so far!:-)
Yayyy I’m so glad to hear this 🤗🧡
can you please do a video on how to get maximum definition???
I have the xtava black orchid diffuser too! I love it!
It’s so great isn’t it!
Its currently not shipping to the U.K. due to Covid-19 😭
Omg! I love love LOVE, your denman brush video!
Camryn-Adrianna LOCKMAN thank you sooooo much! I hope it helped you out ❤️❤️❤️
@@AlexasCurls I don't have a denman brush though. I getting one soon and I'll for sure try it! (Your curls are so pretty in that video btw)!
She’s so beautiful
Great video! Once you’ve finished diffusing yours roots and you sit up, what product do you reapply? Is it cream or gel? Think this is where I am going wrong! X
Caitlin Bain I added a bit bit water and gel. I used the same gel I had applied on that wash day ☺️
I recently bought your diffuser and Snozzle Pro after watching your tools video... both are game changers!! So thank you!!
Any advice.... I have issues with the back of my head being flat and no curls and often a big frizz ball. It’s only at the back! My front/ side will have amazing curls! Any tips??? Thanks! I love your curls!
Yay! Glad to hear you like them! I have the same issue with the back of my hair not curling as well as the rest. It could just be your curl type, but I find that really focusing on that area when applying product and scrunching it separately can help. I think I do this in my Bounce Curl wash day routine vid :)
@@hanzcurls o
I learned that I have also that hairtype, I have no curls on the back on the left side, and I always thought I did something wrong
Is it ok to diffuse my hair while I am trying to treat it from heat damage? 🤔
it's so weird the first time i tried to use a diffuser my hair frizzed up a lot. probably did something wrong but i'll definitely try again when i don't have school to worry about and places to go (just in case i mess up)
How long does this drying routine take?
Hi! Thank you for your helpful videos! I've recently purchased a xtava diffuser but was horrified to read the written warning on the box - made with lead which could cause cancer and birth defects!! Do you know anymore about this hair tool? Is it safe? Many thanks, S.
Hi there. I received my one 2 days ago and I was also horrified by the small print. I did some research and it's because they use plastic with BPA's in it, I live in South Africa and although we have regulations here re plastic we are not as strict revealing it to the public, however they are more strict in certain countries such as California, and if your product contains even a miniscule amount of BPA's you have to disclaim it, therefore there really is no way to really know just how hazardous it is to use this product over a long period of time, I probably had exposure to BPA's all my life without being aware of it, they even use it for manufacturing baby bottles. I got my diffuser from California. I have a curly girl account called @full_circle_back_to_my_curls and I did a write up and video about this warning as I couldn't possibly recommend this product with a clear conscience after receiving the product and seeing this warning, I was however annoyed that all these ladies pushing and promoting this diffuser never mentioned this, because had I known I probably would have thought twice before going through this huge expense before buying it, that's why I made a video and post to warn my followers. There is no extra information regarding this diffuser and I think that now informed it is up to each individual to decide if the risk is worth it. I do however will continue to use mine, but will limit it to once a week... Hope this was helpful 😉
@@jurinacleaver2342 Thank you so much for your response. It was very expensive. Its hard to know what to do.
@@stephied7660 I have used it 3 times now and have mid length hair... I almost feel as if this diffuser is better for long hair. I used it to dry the length if my hair without touching my scalp and used my diffuser that came with my old hairdrier to dry the roots. It is tricky to decide if the reward is worth the risk. 😏😉
I came back here to say that I have a cheap-o Conair Dryer to which I've attached a Snozzle Pro to connect my Black Orchid Diffuser Attachment and it works!
Yay! Glad to hear it!
Do you think cutting your hair to about shoulder length would make it more voluminous and potentially frizzy? My curls are about beast length and recently I've kinda wanted it shorter, but I don't really like too much volume at the top, doesn't really suit my face or something...
Hey! I think it depends how you style it, there’s definitely ways to make your hair less frizzy and voluminous. If I cut my hair shorter it would probs have more volume up top because the length wouldn’t be pulling it down and the shorter layers would spring up. I personally love volume and wish I had more 😂
Hey! I’ve been experimenting with my natural curls, and I have a huge question. So whenever I flip my hair over and put it back, it doesn’t seem right like it’s in place. For example, I watched your video on how to sleep with curls, and did the high bun thingy, but when I put my hair back down in the morning my was like stuck in that place from being up high so long, so when it was down it was awkward and didn’t lay down normally like it was still trying to be up high. The same thing happens if I side part and try to go back to a middle part while it’s dry. Is there a reasoning for this and a way to stop it? Sorry if this was confusing!
M concepcion I tend to just give my hair a shake at the roots like I to at the end of my diffusing process in this vid. Just flip your head toward and shake your fingers at your roots then flip your head back up. In the morning after it’s been up a while it may need a little time to settle.
hanzcurls okay, thank you so much !
This is really useful. Thank you! When you go back and massage/shake your hair with the diffuser, is it on? 🙈
Thank you! Yes, it’s on - sorry I should’ve made that more clear. By this point my hair is basically dry so it adds a bit more oomph. Hope this helps!
hanzcurls Thanks Hannah xxx
I would super love some help. I bought the xtava black orchid diffuser and even with the snoozle, it pops off of my current hair dryer. My current hair dryer was very expensive, and I decided...it's important enough to use the black orchid diffuser that I will BUY a new hair dryer that it will fit on. I have googled a hair dryer that will fit, and I read that the xtava pro hair dryer 1875 watts fits it and works well. I would love to buy that hair dryer but it is unavailable everywhere I look. Can anyone recommend a hair dryer that fits the xtava black orchid hair diffuser? I'm so discouraged.
Does the Devafuser fit on any hair dryer?
I have conair hair dryer
I can't understand what hair diffuser fit my hair dryer
The snozzle Pro that she uses is designed to attach almost any diffuser to almost any hairdryer I believe!
HI im looking to buy the black orchid difuser and wanted to know if the snozzle pro will attach to any uk hairdryer ..thank you in advance Lorena .Im new to your channel and new to the curly girl routine
I don’t know if the Snozzlepro with attach to any dryer but there should be dimensions when you go to buy it. It is a little stretchy too so I’ve found it fits on different ones
@@hanzcurls Thank you so much for your reply was just trying double check as its a lot of money to fork out..my dryer atm is a babyliss which has a narrow top which widens so hopefully will fit ..enjoying your videos great info and you explain things well thanks
@@lorenasmiles if you’re in the U.K. it’s very expensive on Amazon. I got it shipped from the US Amazon to the U.K.
Turn it off between sections!!! This makes so much sense and has never occurred to me!!
No matter what I do my hair just does not like diffusing no matter what I do. I’m gonna try this for the last time and if it doesn’t work I think I’ll just stick to air drying I really hope this works sense I have school tomorrow
i dont generally diffuse. mostly coz its effort and I have a mild disability. maybe i should try again sometime
I just bought some In-Shower Style Fixer from Curlsmith and want to try using a diffuser, but I'm not quite sure when to use a heat protectant... This may be a stupid question, but should the protectant be used before or after the style fixer?? Also, my hair is pretty much just like yours; do you recommend a particular heat protectant? Thanks!! :D
I don’t use a heat protectant because I diffuse on a low-medium heat so it doesn’t cause me any damage. If you wanna use one I think it should go as the first step after rinsing your conditioner, before applying your cream and gel.
@@hanzcurls Coolio! Thanks for the info! I never learned how to deal with my hair as a kid (my mum's hair was poker straight and short), so your channel is super helpful. :)
Have you tried finger coiling the top pieces that are straight? Do it while your hair is still wet, and use alot of gel. It's a little time consuming but worth it. That's what I do and it works every time! 😁
Hey! I do this sometimes, when I need my hair to look good for a special occasion, but I can’t always be bothered!😂
@@hanzcurls I totally understand! Your hair is gorgeous either way, doesn't really matter. I have red curly hair very similar to yours, however it's much shorter. I'm trying to let it grow - your my inspiration! 😁
I got a new hair dryer fon come air
My hair gets hella' frizzy when I diffuse. :(
My method of diffusing massively cuts down frizz - you should try it!
@@hanzcurls Okay! I love your channel and I'm so happy you have one because you have really helped me with my curls!
I always had frizz when I diffused too. This video and the diffusing routine by Manes by Mell made a HUGE difference.
@@daniellewoods35 Okay! I'm happy your hair is now frizz free!:-)
I’ve found nym curl talk defining cream got rid of a TON of my frizz!!
I hate diffuing because I hate volume and also it doesn't last long enough, also I get no definition whatsoever! I don't care the 4 hours of air drying lol
That’s totally fine! Everyone has different preferences - you gotta do what works for you and makes you happy 😊
@@hanzcurls yeah! Amazing how hair reacts 😊
The reason why your hair is not curly at the base is because your hair is long and pulls down that section. If your hair were shorter you would see more curl there. ♥
My hair just doesn’t curl from the root. When it’s short it’s actually less curly! Just the wavy my curls grow☺️
25 mins to diffuse 😭 I don't think I have the patience for that! My idea of hairdrying is like five mins 😅
Hahaha, I get ya, but I don’t have the patience to have wet hair for 5 hours 😂
@@hanzcurls I must admit I do hate that wet hair feeling for hours on end 😭 I'm going to give your method a go!
@@rhythmandblues_alibi hi 👋🏽 i hate that feeling !! Did it work for you ? Or were you able to find a good method ?
@@sarangcrochets9583 I usually keep my hair up in a tshirt for about 30mins, an hour tops, then diffuse it dry on a warm setting. I don't completely dry it, just to the point that its damp but reasonably comfortable to deal with. It usually only takes about 10mins max! 😊
And now tell someone with straight hair why it takes a whole day to get ready to go out...
