Hi I removed the old hood lining off a 2007 vw passat wagon now when I’ve removed the old foam the glue is still sticky

I have a dent the size of a eraser on a pencil. Idk how but I seen it today in my camaro. Brand new sixth Gen ss she’s been my baby. I was so sad to find the stupid crease in the headliner. It’s right on the eyes view so it bugged me so much. I just saw this video and realize I can get away with using the pin. I understand the headliner material is sort of glued on to the cardboard. I’m thinking if I can stick the pin inside and just pull on the felt a little, I can make it “ sag “ and fill in the hole. The hole is pushed in upwards to the roof if that make sense. So to UNDO it, I would pull it down towards the concrete so make it “ sag “ and fill in the little crease.

I was so bummed out I had this dent. I haven’t tried it yet but the way it’s positioned. I think I’m im able to fix it. I just have to use the pick to to sort of separate the feet material from the cardboard to make it “ sag “ or unstick. And the material will act like a bubble to even out the dent made inward

Kind of like at 3:06. I can bring it back to the clean finish. The crease is on the pillar. Right at the bottom where it meets the plastic. So I can just pluck it like a eye brow or ingrown hair, and the sag will even out the crease. Because like you plucked it in the video, the headliner is upside down so the sag will be positive to evening out the tiny dent
