The fact that he refused to lie under oath in his previous statement means that we can accept his statement of having committed suicide 4 times as fact. Add it to the court record.
“Thank you, if I weren’t under oath, I’d return the compliment” has got to be the sickest burn I’ve heard this year.
I found a whole book of these lawyer moments! It's Disorder in the Court, by Charles M Sevilla. A few of these cases where featured in it, so idk if that's where OP got it.
That one along with the sequel by another author! Good find!

that was the exact moment Phoenix, with the help of Apollo, started what would be the most glorious debate to ever be held in that courtroom.
The fact that all of the characters would genuinely say these in their respective situations killed me even more than the victim
I love how you turned a bunch of dumb lawyer quotes into one cohesive trial
Cohesive is a strong word.
"I am arresting all of you."
i really want to know who was defending and who the witnesses for this case were irl now
But how long has that man been French Canadian?

@@thespyer2k Nope. It's one, check the description
I'm personally trying to see if my brain has enough capacity to fit all these quotes into the same case.
This had me literally crying while laughing and having to pause the video multiple times. It's even more hilarious trying to imagine the context in which these statements were given in court. Thank you
This is glorious and fits too well...
"When he went, had you gone and had she, if she wanted to, and were able, for the time excluding all the restraints on her not to go, gone also, would he have brought you, meaning you and she, with him to the station..."
*"That question should be taken out and shot."*
My favorite.
With this pne just in case is too much of a riddle it meant to ask if the first guy would have allow the other 2 if they were able to go, (also implying there was some sort of condition on the girl but asking that to be ruled out) simple made complicated to try and disrupt the witness being examined, waaaay to complicated of a logic to even be comprehended at the span of a few seconds
Needs a damn few semicolons and a redo
I love how Iris slowly goes from irritation to anger to on the verge of a breakdown
The fact that i took a sip of my tea simultaneously with wright sent me flying 0:50

Apollo: Doctor, do you recall the time you examined the body?
Klavier: The autopsy started around 8 PM.
Apollo: And he was dead at the time

He might not have been dead yet so the autopsy would have definitely killed him
That doctor is such an advanced troll and that his jokes is so simple yet so amazing once you figure out it’s double meaning. Love those legendary answers that contradicts itself.

“Where was the dog at this time?”
Iris, sobbing: “attached to the ears”
“The Myasthenia Gravis, does it affect your memory at all?”
Iris, still crying: “....Yes”
“And in what ways does this affect your memory?”

These quotes made me a bigger fan of life.
Eh. Most of these are reasonable in context and the rest have bad phrasing

There are so many new quotes that can be used for these videos.
“How many times have you committed suicide?”
There’s no fucking way a real lawyer said that.
Why not? They're probably more used to saying "committed suicide" than "attempted suicide", so when they meant the latter they said the former.
