I‘m using the DIG and blueSky-these are the only effects I‘m using with my Diezel Hagen 😅 And you are the reason I‘m using it-saw your video about the DIG and you nailed it ☺️🙏🏻
I haven't owned any Strymon pedals before, but I'm seriously considering picking up both this and the Cloudburst, thanks to your awesome demos! The price and the small form are definitely more appealing to me. Cheers Leon! 👍🏼
That is one cool delay.. Like all of their stuff.. Just steller. Man, your playing was right on the mark today brother! As always really! Man, it sounded so good, and even better with the mod mixed in.. Heavenly! Just too cool.. I have to admit though, I love the filth as you call it.. The gain, because more is more! 😛 I've been listening with my excellent headphones.. I use them most of the time when you're channel has a new video to make sure I get all the excellent details.. So good sounding brother.. Thanks man.. On my first cup of coffee! Be safe and well my good friend! God speed sir!
Got my Brig yesterday, awesome pedal again from Strymon! I'm copying all your settings especially for leads @LeonTodd haha, they're way better than the ones suggested on the Quick Start Guide 😅
Time to take that jam out on the road with toast and coffee ..don't forget the milk for Lupin..I replied to your reply last night taking lupin with you on the road..lol..guess he's catnapping again with that beautiful sound of Strymon
Amazing pedal! I currently use an old dm2 and an old memory man in combo, and this could replace the pair. Would love to see a midi controller video, as I would be new to that.
I’m hearing “Reason to Live” off KISS’s ‘Crazy Nights’ in that opening jam. That synth progression has been stuck in my head since 1987. 😂. Killer jam/demo as always, man! 🤘🤘
I have the Flint, the Zelzah, the DECO, and the Volante. But I really want to try something simpler, and smaller, to replace the Volante. This is cool..but I've been looking at the el Cap for awhile. Since I'm using it for my Synth setup, the DiG might be a better fit. I do realize I have a problem..lol!..Thanks, again, Mr Todd! You always sound so great.
Really like the sound of this. I recently tried out the Boss DM-101 and that thing sounded absolutely killer BUT mono in. Which made it almost entirely unusable for me. I was gutted to send that back. This thing might just do the trick!
Really interesting. On the face of it it seemed to be a small Bigadier without the dedicated tap switch but it's actually quite different with dedicated BBD delay types rather than relying on the BBD degrade knob of the Brigadier. I hope Strymon do a small form factor tape style delay too. They'd sit nicely side by side on the ol' PT Jr.
@@LeonTodd I'm playing Alt-Americana stuff so I'm not so much in the digi realm but I imagine they would kill it with such a product. For me my core sounds would be tape style slap and DMM style longer delays with a touch of modulation. And both would fit in about the same space as my EH Deluxe Memory Boy with this form factor.
Leon you are by far one of the best guitarist to demo product on line you made me want this effect..if I could play like you I would retire from my job tomorrow...much love bro
Super vibey. You made the 3005 mode sound delicious with the modulation dialed in to perfection. Does it sound the same or close to the dBUCKET algorithm in the Timeline? Shootout?
Great Demo 👍 Any advice for those of us choosing between this and the Boss DM101? I love the DM101 but is it too dark and bassy - is this a smarter buy for the brighter repeats ala DMM 🤔?
Yeah this probably has a slightly larger tonal range, plus it's stereo in and out unlike the DM mono in/stereo out. DM has a bunch of extra modes which are cool but it's a lot bigger.
Was going to buy the joyo dseed 2 ..but this Strymon is sweet.. too bad you can't get your hands on that joyo..its got a reverse delay.. lupin is one lucky 🐈🐈😺😺🐈🐈...lupin liked the way you jumped on that pedal mate.. it's a shame you can't find a girl lead singer to match your talent on guitar Leon 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
You did THIS video to now listen and compare yourself i think the uad sounds wayyyyy more thicker amd warmer orhas this to do with how you record the other vid? ua-cam.com/video/GQngRo_Y9DY/v-deo.html
How many of you are using one (or multiple) Strymon pedals in your rig?
Just one , blue sky, great tone Leon
I‘m using the DIG and blueSky-these are the only effects I‘m using with my Diezel Hagen 😅 And you are the reason I‘m using it-saw your video about the DIG and you nailed it ☺️🙏🏻
The DIG is so dreamy
@@LeonToddabsolutely 😊
Got the cloudburst this morning lol. Good timing.
I had the original Brigadier but eventually sold it when I got into a MIDI setup. This sounds fantastic and now has MIDI! Thanks for this demo 🤘
Yeah I'm currently diving into the midi side of this and it's pretty rad!
Brother that opening jam was epic 👏👏👏👏
Animals album always brings the vibe!
Wow... it sounds megadelicious!!! Awesome delay tones and excellent video Leon!!!
Many thanks!!
Nice one Leon. Best Demo of the BRIG I've seen yet 🍻
Wow, thanks! Appreciate it:)
Beautiful playing at the start there, great mate❤
Thanks brother! The multi mode really made all of that come to life
Most awesome demo Leon!
Much appreciated mate! Super inspiring pedal
Very tasteful playing!
Thanks a lot!
They make such musical and juicy souding pedals. Killer!!!
Using them is a joy. So well thought out and toneful.
Killer first mix Leon! Damn man.cheers 🍻
Much appreciated mate!
Great tones!
Thanks!
Great demo. That Mod knob is a thing of wonder.
Fantastic !!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great demo... coming to my board :)
Truly best demo I've seen. I'd buy it JUST because of this demo.
🙌
Woah that jam in the beginning was totally amazing! I was wanting more! Lol
Glad you liked it!!
Ordered - thanks so much for the killer demo!
My pelasure! Congrats :)

That would be a lot of tone for such a small footprint
Thanks for doing a vid with the way I use delay, epic solos with gain!
Yes!!!
On par with my best opening jam from you (the first H90 vid you did was epic) Love it
Thankyou! Something about great delays that inspire
Nice review, I’ve ordered one 🖤
Hope you enjoy it!

The filth, the glorious filth!
Nice job on show casing the pedal and sounds achievable, you do this with all your vid’s 👏
Thank you very much!
Got my Brig yesterday, awesome pedal again from Strymon! I'm copying all your settings especially for leads @LeonTodd haha, they're way better than the ones suggested on the Quick Start Guide 😅
Enjoy!
Man this sounds awesome. I have a Strymon Timeline but I’m drawn to the simplicity of this pedal.
I was curious to see how they'd strip this down but still retain the "deep dive" stuff they're known for. So fast and easy to use.
@@LeonTodd yes that ease of use is what I really like the look of. Another great video Leon🤘
You could get some wicked "Anthem"/"By-Tor and the Snowdog" action with that.
Yep, I wasted no time. This is my new always-on delay. It's proper nice! Great work as ever, Leon :)
The multi mode is heaven

Lupin must be dreaming away in one beautiful catnapin dream with that pedal. 😺
20:26 Entro Saxon - Crusader
13:15 Rhythm riffing hits!😬🎸
Ohhhh I can see _this_ piece of kit making a Sensitive Sunday appearance.
🚬😌☕

Classic Desmond Child co-write!
Yeah....that guy wrote some killer tunes. I don’t think KISS would have been as huge as they were without those co-writes. Bob Kulick as well! 🤘🤘
Jam = melodic goodness
King Missle thing going on around 10:10. Sweet.
Please a lesson connecting this pedal into the Fractal. Many thanks !!
Oh yea...that opening jam was Awesome!!! I've never owned a Strymon pedal, I wish I did because they seem to make nothing but quality.
Dude you'd love what they do!

hahaha the struggle is real! DiG is my favourite of their classic sized pedals

Yeah if you need stereo ins this hits the spot!

Small style tape delay would be awesome! If they could do a mini-DIG that could cope Roland SDE, Korg SDD and TC2290 tones as well :D

Was that jam inspired by the song Dogs? either way, I love it.
Yes indeed!
I often wonder about fret wraps ? What do they do actually at 62 they was not around much I know they are useful I just never used one .
I just use them to mute the strings behind the nut. Some use them for tapping stuff
Spoilt for choice with delays this year ☺️
Are you going to see Vai in November mate?!
Vai at Perth Concert Hall is gonna be epic!
Sounds amazing but I am devastated there is not a dedicated tap switch. Having to hold the switch for a couple of seconds is not practical at all.
It's easy enough to add a small footswitch via the exp jack to handle tap tempo, or to use midi via TRS
Super vibey. You made the 3005 mode sound delicious with the modulation dialed in to perfection. Does it sound the same or close to the dBUCKET algorithm in the Timeline? Shootout?
Now I have an excuse to revisit the mighty Timeline :)
@@LeonTodd Indeed! Many Timeline owners will be curious to know if BRIG is better/different enough to add.
Sounds organic
This or the Timeline?
What do you prefer HALO or Brig?
could you make a video using 3 and 4 delays at the same time
Great Demo 👍

Any chance that intro jam backing track is available? So good! TY!
Yes it's up on my Patreon. Should be available for all tiers plus all my other tracks
wait a minute, the Brig goes before the amps in this signal chain?
Bit of both
Facials
Hey Leon I am awake ! been so hot this proper time to be about 😂.
Hopefully the sweet tones here take your mind of the heat!
No tap tempo switch? Why?
You can use an external switch, midi or the hold to tap feature. I'm guessing because they wanted to keep the small form factor.
Dogs!!! WOOF WOOF
Ah some Floyd goodness… I bet you wish that vibrato unit wasn’t decked for that jam 😜
Hahaha you read my mind!
is it analog dry through?
Yes
@@LeonTodd thx
I‘m suspicious now. Because 90% of playing been crunchy chords to let us hear the Sound. Very suspicious.
Welcome to the land of filth
Thank you, now I feel like at home.
I‘ll choose el capistan
