I think it's the most expensive single pedal I've bought, but it's the only reverb on my board now (third one I tried, after Hall of Fame 2 and JHS Octave Reverb). I love it.
I just discovered your channel Dave whilst watching demos of the Marshall Jackhammer which I also have but have yet to dig into. Your demo of that pedal lead me to the rest of your channel and this video. I love your playing and your quirky and entertaining character! Great stuff! You have a new subscriber. :)
You have so often put a big smile on my lips in your videos, but that section covering the delay times had me in hysterics. I love you conducting the "orchestra"😂. Another superb video... But now I need to seriously ask myself: "Would I really use this pedal enough to justify the price???" Because, you had sold it to me before the end of the video... 😊
Would you consider doing a little tell me baby on your next video? I find the song absolutely amazing and a little tribute would be so cool to watch and listen to. Amazing if you could find the time - and thanks for all the great music you provide us with!
That’s good to hear. Couldn’t find a Jet in US so bought a Squire Vintage modified 60s Strat off Reveb and had such a bad bow in neck I couldn’t fix it with truss rod adjustments.
Unreal playing as always! What a fantastic sound. Can you tell us what model/year is your Marshall MG amp? Thanks for all the great content Dave. Cheers.
Really love how it sounds this pedal but i know is just not enough having a good sounding pedal if the player doesn't know how to play it , what in this case your playing as always is amazing and to me it feels soulful and not just someone playing notes , scales or trying to sale gear due be sponsored . What are your thoughts on the TC Electronic Plethora X5 or x3 ? Have you ever played one? I think would be an amazing addition to your pedalboard
I am sure I did a glasgow cloud is always bursting with rain joke last time you used this pedal. I am not gonna disappoint by repeating myself, so here goes - In Rain there is always a cloudy Glasgow burst. It seemed easier when I was rehearsing it.
Fantastic deep sound and echo. Just curious if you have ever messed with TC electronics, Quintessence? being a Iron Maiden fan, would love to know your thoughts on how to get a good harmonizing sound. I have the quintessence however I am stumped on how to achieve Maiden harmonics with it.
Have you heard any noticable difference between Gibson, Epiphone and Fender using the, "wait for it" , hit it boys, 1,2,3,4, "Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth? Ooh, my Heaven Pedal is my happy place on Earth They say in Heaven, pedals comes first We'll make pedal Heaven a place on Earth Ooh, pedal Heaven is a place on Earth, Thank you and good night, drive home safe and use a condon for geez us sakes . . .
Still saving my pennies to get one of these. This time next year ........ On a separate note - what's happened to Queenie - seems to have gone AWOL - even on her own channel too!
Depends on your music preference. Also, it's not the jack-of-all-trades pedal, only when you're in the mood to play something like that. Just one of the tools in your shed, not a Swiss knife.
The Cloudburst is like Hans Zimmer and Vangelis had a baby and put it in a pedal.
I love playing with reverb like that, especially through headphones. It's so immersive and beautiful sounding.
I got one now for a year, and its the most incredible pedalen I ever owned..and im playing and buying stuff now for fifty years
Been waiting for this one.
Soundscapes of bliss . Like someone is playing synths & keyboards along with the original signal that you're playing .
If someone told me I can only ever have one pedal,it's the Cloudburst I'd be keeping⛈️🎸🚀🎸⛈️
Beautiful music for a beautiful soul. Way to go my man… way to go❤
Beautiful jam at the beggining... THanks for the upload!
The Strymon and the Mel 9 together is just SICK!! Rock on Dave!🎸🎸🤘🤘
never cease to amaze
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful weekend Dave ❤😊
A total inspiration Dave 🙏
Such a beautiful sound. Added to my wishlist
Absolutely love this ❤😳
That is how I imagine the sounds of heaven.
Brother Dave another wonderful video and an awesome pedal🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Love my cloudburst. Best ambient reverby thingy out there
I think it's the most expensive single pedal I've bought, but it's the only reverb on my board now (third one I tried, after Hall of Fame 2 and JHS Octave Reverb). I love it.
It’s ethereal ☁️. Cant say I want one but I do like the way it sounds 🎶. 👍☮️🌞🎸🎶🩵
Thanks Dave, nice demo
Brill pedal , got one myself when it came out last year, it's a very inspiring pedal
This pedal is superb i have one for the last 1 year .amazing pedal.👍🎸🌹🌹🎸🌹🎸🎸⚘🌹❤

Ambient tweakers dream pedal!🙂

Marshall Valvestate AVT150 has this forever going sound in its settings. You remember that one.
Would you consider doing a little tell me baby on your next video? I find the song absolutely amazing and a little tribute would be so cool to watch and listen to. Amazing if you could find the time - and thanks for all the great music you provide us with!
It’s great isn’t it…not sure if you have seen my recent video on it Dave but it’s so versatile. Great playing as always mate. 👍🏻🎸👏👏👏
Yeah-in The Hearts Of Space.
Top demo Dave, speshly as my stuff sounds like hell.
I also like to use an ebow on top of all that other stuff. Completely ridiculous but so much fun.
Very very interesting !! Hmm
Another great video, i bought the Jet 400 on your recommendation and have to say what a great guitar, especially for the price I paid for it.
That’s good to hear. Couldn’t find a Jet in US so bought a Squire Vintage modified 60s Strat off Reveb and had such a bad bow in neck I couldn’t fix it with truss rod adjustments.
@TXstang347 take a look at the Jets 300 and 400s series
Unreal playing as always! What a fantastic sound. Can you tell us what model/year is your Marshall MG amp? Thanks for all the great content Dave. Cheers.
This ones a 2004 i believe.
Id love a Strymon reverb , and the Brig delay is awesome as well , but damn they are expensive pedals .
True regards the price....but the Cloudburst and Brigg certainly deliver when paired together...⚡😜⚡
@@XENONEZZ2 oh yes , they sound incredible.
Check out the Caline Wonderland, very similar effects, but a whole lot cheaper

the feeling is the same of the particle verb but the sound is really different

Fantastic Dave!! Where in your chain is it?
Just after my delay pedal. :)
Thanks Dave
Any chance of doing a comparison between the cloudburst, Starlab and Big Sky and perhaps the line6 with echo delay. You de man!
cool video, love the cloudburst ...the forte mode is sometimes a bit over the top for my taste 😉

Do a comprehensive comparison to your line 6 DLK vs Cloudburst ???
Still saving my pennies to get one of these. This time next year ........ On a separate note - what's happened to Queenie - seems to have gone AWOL - even on her own channel too!
Shes busy with other things at the moment. :)
Will fill my boots tomorrow after I win the £130 mill tonight.
# no9 is good
Its a great pedal, and i own it. That said, this companys pricing is getting out of control. Likely the last pedal i buy from them.
700 pounds for the new big sky mx is just an absolute joke.
@kevone-eo6pq when people stop buying them, the price will drop. Until then why would they lower prices?
Hi 😊👋
Yeah youve been making great soundscpes for a while on that thing.
would this work for surf rock? , sounds ace to me
Oh yes. :)
Is there a similar effect to this in the katana?
Kind of. In the tone studio you can play with the reverb.
Didn’t you have a boss delay recently?
I still so. Its on another pedal board though now.
@@thedavesimpson ah ok you prefer the line6 or just different? mel9, boss rv6 and cloudburst on my wishlist.
Its sounds incredible, but……, I think would quickly become…… overload and not practical in context.
