Another great session - I would like to add that I find the sessions the perfect length to do in the morning before I go to the office - if it was an hour length I would have to put it off until the evening. Wonderful way to start the day
@@yogawithtim Will do. I go back to other challenges simply because there are sessions that my body really loves. Warrior 3 is a personal favourite for my spine.
@@yogawithtim Just came around to this class again and it is a favorite. There are certain poses (balance) that I shake. Not in a bad way but will I ever find that energy line? One can hope. Thanks again.
I love the idea of finding balance - both in poses and in life. I definitely have a 'sun' schedule - go, go, go and I am finding more and more that adding the "moon" restorative practice has helped me a ton.
Tim let's be honest, that was more yang than ying!! That was an intense class but it felt really nice and I feel amazing now. Lots of poses I have never done so I discovered a lot today. Loved the chest openings at the beginning and the triceps workout. I am now used to taking five to ten minutes to meditate at the end of each video and that's the perfect way to end my practice of the day. Thanks and see you tomorrow.
Gratefull for the class. I belong to the conscious movement community which is fantastic but the 30 minutes 30 days challange is the most refreshing way to start the day and the year :)
Thank you Miriam for being a member of the Conscious Movement Community. I am so grateful for that community. It seems like there is a lot of love for the 30 min class. 😊
My biggest takeaway from this class is the shoulder work. I have a chronic rotator cuff issue and finding exercises that challenge rear delts isn’t easy especially in standard yoga practice. So I’m grateful for this tidbit the most. My shoulder feels great after this practice! Thangs again for your work, Tim. I’m so looking forward to each and every day of the challenge!
Once again a session where I learn More ! Really valuable techniques for strengthening and stabilising the rotator cuff! I’m a remedial massage therapist and see so much instability, especially with the sitting-at-computer -all-day clients! Thank you
Really well designed class. You are helping us who may have been practicing for a while really get in touch with alignment, energy and how to build strength the right way...like in the back of the shoulders. I've been injured so the length and pace of this series has been perfect. Thank you so much, Tim.
Loved the shoulder stretch on our side - could tell it was stretching some muscles that were needing it, just under the armpit when open. Thanks a lot, loving this challenge.
So many things...1. love the picture-in-picture modifications - please make that a regular feature; 2. Never did the 'side plank knees bent arms externally rotated' thing before - loved that & will be returning to that often; seems like a great antidote to modern 'screen posture' life; 3. Eternally grateful for the 'Knights who say "nee"' shoutout. lol And so many seemingly little reminders that make such a big difference (don't let your abs pop out during core work, for example, or lifting front of pelvis during chair pose) - all of these things have immeasurably improved my practice overall, and being more 'faithful' to working with you every day has already yielded much improved strength & flexibility. Thanks, Tim
My favourite class yet!!! LOVE, LOVE LOVED the shoulder work, it was exactly what I needed. Would LOVE more of it. Also, I managed to get into e really comfortable position with the back bend on the knees using blocks. I opened my chest and shoulders and supported my head a little with my hands which took away the horrible feeling I often get into these kind of chest openers. Shame the next video came on when it did as I would have stayed in Shavasana. Perfect way to start a Saturday, namaste as always Tim! 🙏
Even before you said that about Piyo, I was thinking that it felt more like Pilates than yin. 😊 I really liked the palms up sphinx and some of your other variations; as a teacher, I feel like I always learn something from you that I can use in my classes. 🙏🏽
I love your sense of humour, Tim, thank you so much! "Gonna have to make it happen" cracked me up, as did many other little things. :D They're just an integral part of the session, as the flow itself. Thank youuuu!
This was challenging and awesome! "Balance" is such a buzzword, but I don't think I've ever heard it described this way (in terms also of types - solar, etc.). Thank you so much, Tim dude!
Good Morning Tim🙏 Really enjoyed this practice👍 I also absolutely loved the modification insert that you did-Great idea👍👍🙏🙏 I’m orking a couple of days behind with a few additions here and there because I like Sunday to be my restorative day. But, I’m still with you and improving my practice. This is a great challenge for newbies by the way! As always-thanks for all you do🙏🙏🙏🙏
I am running a bit behind so did 3 in a row this a. m. I work in healthcare so two masks all day exhaust me…. but doing yoga again it’s so good for my body and my soul so thank you for bringing this practice back to me… With a busy life this is the perfect way to incorporate yoga body and mind and you do such a good job with balancing the two… Really digging it! Great job getting in 3 classes today! I can only imagine how overworked you are right now. Thank you. I am glad you are able to fit these classes in Ellen.
Thank you for my morning class, I do feel energised and calm too . I'm one of those 'solar' people so a bit of yin every now and then is great for me. See you tomorrow🥰🙏

Really appreciate the modification image. I have a bum knee from a surfing accident 20 years ago (I still surf). It pops from time to time, and there are times I'm too intimated to sit back on my heels let along laying back on them. Oof! Thanks again for that alternative.
Love the yin Yang yin practice! It’s good to slow down and connect with the structure of poses as opposed to a constant flow yoga. Thanks for another great practice.
Great flow today, I really enjoyed it! Especially the balancing from chair pose, to lunge with the spine twist. I find it very helpful for my ankle and hip muscles to perform those poses.
