The 6505 sounds better but for that price it's pretty close I'm sure with a bit more dialing in the presence could be boosted or add an eq with it Keep the demos coming Neil You rock
SOLD.....6505 sounds darker and deeper but lekato sounds brighter but also just as tight tight..but for the price you can't knock it..I'm ordering one good review pal 👍
The Cube Baby is the worst kept secret around! I've actually used it at a local music club and it worked fine, through the mixer and PA... I've just gone for the big brother - the Tank-G - and installed some new preamp models as well - and that one's amazing. I wouldn't be without any of these devices! I don't do distorded heavy sounds though - blues and jazz, with a bit of pop/country thrown in.
Sounds really good. Close, but it's definitely missing the saturation of the 6505+. That being said, for the price it would be hard to go wrong there. Tech keeps getting better, and more affordable. I got a Mooer X2 Preamp pedal, and I use it in the effects loop of my 6505+...downloadable profiles for it similar to Kemper. You have to get the live to actually make profiles, but man color me impressed for 130. Great pedal there too brother. nice demo. 🤘
Looking for this tone cause buying a big amp is expensive but both have pros and cons cuvebaby is good for recordings and making a IR amp... But the real peavey is better of course. Cheers for sharing this vid...
Neil did you see the new reissue of the 6505 ll peavey should come out with a preamp 6505 pedal just like all these other companies I think they would sell a ton I'm going to send them an email
Got 2 of this cute baby. If u setting it perfectly it gonna sounds awesome. I too got zoom G1X Four & NUX 300 but spend most on this cute baby coz it easy & compact with built in rechargeable batt too...
@@NinecoreNeil please include a clip of you playing this awesome riff as well. Beats the heck out of staring at a pedal image. What's your opinion of these budget pedals for use with an frfr speaker for jamming at home or in a tight space. Will they sound as good through an frfr?
@@allboutthemojo I think this pedal is definitely best suited to an ir or headphone situation I have done a demo into a power pedal too just needs uploading, yeah I prefer the playing videos too it depends on the amount of time I have to film tbh

But you still have to put a real TS in front or does it have an emulation of the green pedal to put in front of the amp?
This is just using the Cube baby it’s got a boosted feel to it on this setting
Awesome comparison!!!
Thanks means a lot

I’ve just done a new demo for the Ge300 I know what you mean great brand

I just got one yesterday.. This thing is amazing for the money.
I mainly use it for headphone practice but it’s quite good into an interface
This is ideal for someone like me that does not have a big house. :D
Through the headphones it’s really impressive I think that’s it’s best application tbh like a practice amp
What the HECK! I gotta get one of these things to see if it ACTUALLY sounds THAT good in the room compared to a full fledged amp. Got me curious now!
Watch this space 😜

Yes agreed although they messed up the piranha
I might do a video on the 6505 2 because it’s expensive imo

Yes that rechargeable battery is a great idea I hate wires
The Amp is better but for 50$that thing is nice 👌 another great video brother appreciate you 👍 keep it metal and keep em coming 👍
Thanks buddy

@@NinecoreNeil 👍 . Look forward to it!
Dude, do you have a preset?
In both videos your real amp tone is a lot more open and heavy, whereas the pedals solution sounds very boxy. Use the amp to record!
I do mate may as well always use the amp when you have one, yeah pedals always have the boxy mids
6505+ sounds way better than Lekato ( Sounds scoopy with less dynamic )! What cab were you using in the demo? Thank you :)
I actually can’t remember I usually use the Hesu 212 to keep consistent
Cube baby settings for this sound please
I’d need to dig it out and send a pic through somehow
Its just cube baby? Or you use additional overdrive pedal?
Just the cube baby I think
Just lacks that sizzle, but rocks! 🤘
Yeah I know what you mean
There is a crackle when you are playing through the pedal.
Sounded really good but the 6505 has more of everything
Yes for sure
6505 has more presence.
