Really liked version 10. Was lighter and more nimble while fitting in almost a mild stability category. The addition of FF Blast makes it sound even better.
Good morning for all the runners. Here is my like. A excellent asics´s shoes. A nice day for everyone.
Anyone looking for what changed
1. Foam / Full blast replaces flyte foam. FF blast ,maybe kayano users can verify, adds more height to shows and make it more cushiony.
2. Going back to Jacquard mesh instead previously used engineered mesh (last year engineered mesh was so good)
3. Bit more base width for stability.
Everything appears same to last year.
I find GT2000 to be much better moderate stablity shoes than Kayano. I think V10 was so much better than V9. V11 is not much different than V10.
Besides the foam, what’s the difference between these and the kayano 29?

I restart running last month. Knee pain, heel pain…After struggling the circle of running and recovering, I finally figure out that my arch collapses when I wear neutral shoes. I really need a pair of support running shoes. Will try gt2000-11 and kayano 29 and choose one to purchase.
I got the Kayano Lite 3 and I'm loving it after a few miles to soften the foam a bit. I wonder what's the main difference between it and the GT 2000 11 besides the price. Because the weight is about the same.
maybe perhaps try minimalist shoes or zero drop shoes like altra to strengthen your arch, feet and legs in general instead of relying on modern stability shoes, in the long run you're just moving away from the problem instead of facing it by strengthening your arch.

@@abdulmajidabdullah1891 so many options on the market😂 asics gt-2000, saucony guide and brooks adrenaline are good choices if not too overweighted.
I had the Gen 6,7,8,9. Bought the 10 and got incredible problems with shoe chafing. I am so unsure if to get the new gen as it seems to get worse with new generations.
I am also still running in Gen 7 and still love them. I also have the 10 and really love them on short runs, but also getting the hotspots like you. I am hoping the 11's will cause less hotspots. The wife got them for me for Christmas.

Should have used FF Blast+. Stack should be higher. Less gel.
Gel is mainly a visual thing now. It does very little in the way of cushioning, which is all done by the foam these days.
@@richardharvey4216 Yes, you start to wonder whether it actually does anything or is just a useless gimmick... one that adds unnecessary weight.
The Novablasts were great shoes, with great cushioning, weight, and potential--and without an iota of gel.
These are awesomely light. I love the gel and would miss it dearly, after all it is an asics tradition, that is ASICS Gel. It has to stay in some form or fashion.

Only update that actually makes a difference is the lack of medial post....it's WAY less stable. Same cost cutting move they made with the new Kayano. HARD PASS.
Medial posting is old tech. Its not cost cutting. Youre gonna see more running companies move away from it.
