This video is by far one of the best and most useful videos that I have watched on Nike running shoes for months. Thank you!
glad it helps!
😢🎉😂😢
@@BenParkes My feet are wide, which shoes do you think are suitable?
@@multazam6632Jordan 4s for sure
I can agree with you
Very straightforward and detailed review with all the helpful information that majority of the runners wanted to know. Thank you Mr Ben Parkes.
Ben takes less than 0.6 seconds to say “hello everybody” and I love it ❤😂
He said Hillary
Great vid, Ben!
Great review. I was hoping they would add free runs back in the mix. Appreciate your content
Great video!! Congrats!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hillobiddy! This is awesome thanks! ❤️
😂😂😂😂😂
I enjoy all of your contents keep it up ben❤
Brilliant video Ben..!!!!
Fan of the Pegasus range. Looking for a long run shoe in the Nike family. Great review
Vaporfly 3 is just amazing!
Thanks great info for me just starting out running well out together thanks
This video was super informative, one similar for Asics, Adidas, Puma and Saucony would be great.
I’m very new to running - I do weekly 10ks on weekends and 2 5ks during the week.
If you are looking to save some money, the Nike winflo 10’s are pretty sweet.
I also own the Pegasus trail running shoes, which are awesome as well, but more pricey.
Hi Ben appreciate you aren’t a stability trainer wearer however could you do a video on the best stability shoes? Also, currently following your marathon plan. Have the Norfolk marathon in Cromer in April 🤞
Awesome video, Ben
this video was very useful
Thank you, just thank you! I don’t know what else to say 👍
Tq ben for a nice shoes review.. my favourite absolutely will be vaporfly 3 😊
Why not alphafly
Good chronological review. I ran my 5k pr on The Pegasus, couldnt improve it with the carbon plated nikes that came out later.
Amazing work 🎉
Excelent video. I love Invincible 2 , Vaporfly 1 and Alphafly 1 . I have other Nikes but Thais 3 i 😍😍😍
Great video, I'd love a saucony video with speed 4 and pro 4 on the way plus triumph 22 coming soon
going to start running for the first time, just ordered the Pegasus 40s for $65 thanks for the video!
Wow that’s a too good to be true price there. Good for you
Great video myself i have the pegasus 40 , next video asics ? i have the novablast 3
i have the invincible 3 and had the same heel slip issue until i used the back eyelet and front eyelet in tandem. completely solved my problems!
I just can’t get myself to like the 3s, that sole just looks awefull to me, and some reason I just like the version 2s so much more
Awesome video! Any chance for an ON shoes comparison for the year?
Great video! I'd really like to see the same for Saucony and Asics, please.
ua-cam.com/video/jcqEwm9xMvc/v-deo.html saucony video is here ua-cam.com/video/OTZKtxJcgfw/v-deo.html asics video is here
I tried on the Vomero 17 in a store today. The heel felt a little clunky! I look forward to see what the React X foam for the Pegasus 41 will be like. I'm a Pegasus die hard that goes back 15 years with the shoe. It has always been my versatile Go To Shoe. 5K up to Marathons! Thanks for the Content!
I really enjoy this type of video I really want you to do New balance next
Great video.
It helped me with my next buying decision.
Thank you Ben.
Lets Go Ben!🎉
Nice video! I was a huge fan of the Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next% and really miss it. Which Nike shoe comes close to it? (sorry, I find the Pegasus and Vomeros just too boring).
Great video Ben! Would you recommend vaporfly or alphafly for half or full marathon for runners who typical run in a mild support shoes? Thanks.
We need a video like this for the Puma Nitro series!!!
The streakfky while having no plate it does have a mid foot shank to help stabilize the foam so that’s it’s not overly wonky. Nike still have another stability option called the Nike Structure on its 25 version now.
I am more of an adidas guy but Nike's craftmanship in running shoes is by far the best I've seen. The only Nike running shoes I've own were Revolution 6 and they are comfortable.
There is also the Nike Zoom structure shoes which I've loved as someone who over pronates a touch. Super durable (my version 24s have nearly 1000ks) and comfortable and a solid all-round shoe for runners that need the extra stability 🏃👟
Are the Nike Tempo Next% still in your rotation or which of the ones reviewed would be a similar feel?
Hello. I think the Swift line is the best for me, for trainers. For actual runs (races), I like ASICS gels. But I do love Nike shoes.
Thanks for the video.
I'm looking for new shoes to run like :
- 3-4 miles x2 / week
- Jumping rope every day
- Fractional running x2 / week
I think the carbon plate is useless for my profile.
Need some advice please. The invincible 3 looks amazing. (70kg and have shin periostit)
Great video Ben, all of the Nike regular shoes feel cumbersome to me but I love the Streakfly and Alphafly 3. Strangely, I struggle with the Vaporfly 3 which is surprising as I think version 1 & 2 are the best race shoes ever across all distances (Aphafly 3 is definitely better for anything 10 miles and above now, though).
I agree about the vaporflys, loved the version 1's and the plasticky upper, liked the version 2's bur preferred the 1's upper and the jury is still out on the 3's, ran about 100k in them but not raced in them.
Thanks, appreciate the video, providing me with an update on the Nike running shoe collection. Have not run much in many years and when I have it's been on Asics and now recently New Balance. Time to buy new ones, will check the Nike's, I always liked them in the past.
Please could you review some of the Mizuno range? I’ve struggled with Asics and Nike for fit but would love to hear what you think of Mizuno.
Thankyou for saving so much time . Precise explanation.
Fantastic video.
Complete information about Nike line up and detailed prons and cons for each Nike shoes, would be great if we have a complete line up from PUMA or Hoka.
he did a 2023 hoka video
Heldebededeeeeee
And welcome back to the channel
Ben, what about the Nike Air Zoom Tempo Next %? I ran my last two marathons in that shoe!
Hi Ben, when it comes to carbon plate shoes do you agree with the research that states these are only beneficial to those that consistently run at a minimum pace of around 7:30mi?
I’m after something to replace the Tempo Next % which has been my favourite shoe for years now.
I had issues with the Alphafly V1 with my forefoot hanging over the side and giving blisters.
yes i loved the tempo next % but they just kept ripping so i have to get something else
Hi Ben
I'm running a half marathon in June. I just bought the Invincible 3 and a have a pair of Streakflys as well (I've run 250-300 km in the Streakfly). Which shoe would you recommend that I wear for the half marathon?
For me the Streakfly is a 3-5km Time trial/race shoe. Whenever I use it for longer than 5km's my feet are busted. The reason for that is, you feel so low to the ground and you feel almost everything.. Because you hitting the ground hard It does not give that energy return back to the legs like the Zoom next% or Alphafly... The Zoom fly 5 is fairly comfortable BUT heavy. Definitely not a 10km speed shoe, should be used for longer runs.... My all time favourite is the Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT %... I am on my 3rd pair!. Cant wait for the version 2
Please do a video like this for On. I'm SO confused by all of their options. I'm in the market for an easy run/daily training shoe with a decent amount of cushioning and am overwhelmed by all of the options out there.
Hey Ben.
Ive been on the lookout for a new pair of nike running shoes. Currently i have a pair of vaporflys i only use for races and speed work. For everyday use i have a tore down pair of vomero 16.
Ive been looking at pegasus 40 vs the vomero 17, but i just saw that the pegasus 41 should arrive soon. What would you suggest for a everyday running shoe, vomero 17 or pegasus 41?
Best regards from Denmark!
I have a thing for cheap running shoes, and the Nike Revolution ($US 60) is a great value shoe. They have a bit more cushion than older models, but it is on the form side. Even took it in an incredibly muddy and technical trail this weekend and it performed pretty well.
My daily though is the WinFlo which can soak up the miles without being a marshmallow mess.
One show that I always wanted but didn’t get a few years back was the winflo winterized version that was like purple black and green. I just liked the look of them.
Would love a review of the current adidas line up!
Do you have a video for best shoes to walk or stand up for a long time, example, when going to a theme park 😅?
I have Pegasus 40s for easy and Vaporfly 2s for racing, I would like to try Invincibles and Vaporfly 3s next and have also never tried an Alphafly
When u do your speedwork in the vaporfly what kind of mileage do u get out of it ?? And did u race in an other pair ?
I do my speedwork in an tempo nxt% to do way on my vapor ..
Saucony shoe range review would be super sweet! I'm doing training runs on Saucony Endorphin Shift 3's and I like them!
There is one on his channel
I've got just two Nike shoes now. Vaporfly Next 2 and Vomero 16. The Vomero is also surprisingly fast. I also have good models from other brands, Saucony, Puma, Hoka. What is very clear is that the Nike shoes are more legsaving. I actually regret I didn't buy more Nike shoes.
What should i pick between the invicible 3 and the zoom fly 5 if i need a shoes that would boost my performance during easy runs and also interval?
No mention of the Nike Structure 25? I’d love to know how that lines up against the others.
Great video Ben! I think a similar one for Asics would be good 😊
Yes I agree
ua-cam.com/video/OTZKtxJcgfw/v-deo.html here is the Asics one. It's 2023, but not much has changed!
Great video! Would love to see similar with ASICS and Hoka - particularly Hoka as I’m a bit confused over some of their range, though love the Rocket X2
He’s done both ASICS and Hoka within the last 6 months. Check out his channel.
ua-cam.com/video/OTZKtxJcgfw/v-deo.html asics one is here. ua-cam.com/video/NiDiUEVjx3A/v-deo.html hoka one is here
Thanks both, I’ll check them out tonight!
I'm a kind of beginner but hooked into the sport was debating on the vapourfly or the streakfly what do you think is best and what do you thing for a good trainer for training days
Are there Nike Frees coming this year? I am looking for a very minimalist shoe.
REQUEST. Your expert opinion pls. Which is overall better shoe among NIKE INVINCIBLE 3 or NEW BALANCE FRESHFOAM 1080 V13.
Thank you
Does the Vaporfly have the same poppy feeling as the Aflphaflies or the Nike air zoom tempo next despite not having the air zoom pods.
thankyou 💪💪💪👏👏👏👏
I have both Nike Invincible 3 and the Infinity 4. I prefer the cushioning and rocker ride of the Infinity 4 ,but the Invincible 3 has a more comfortable upper that hugs my feet really well without having to be super snug ad the Infinity 4. For long runs I prefer the Invincible and for easy short runs the Infinity is amazingly relaxing with the rocker it has.
I own the invincible 2 and 3. And while the 3 visually looks better, and quite a bit better.. the 2 is so much better in comfort. The 2's upper is just so much more comfortable that the 3 felt like a huge step back to me.
@playingindies6730 I overpronate, and the Invincible 3 works marvelous to me. But I did not have the two previous versions that were very unstable for overpronation running, or so I heard. I want to see if the Invincible 4 will be another "heavy " high cushioning shoes that are faster then most highly cushioning stack shoes OR maybe Nike will make the next Invincible to compete with super trainers, like the SuperBlast 2 or a Cloud Monster Hyper, for example.
I only got my Invincible because of last year's Black Friday because I don't think they are worth full price for what it does. Even that I ended loving my pair.
REQUEST. Your expert opinion pls. Which one is overall better. NIKE INVICIBLE 3 or NEW BALANCE FRESHFOAM 1080 V13
ADIDAS - I'd love to see some Adidas shoes in your videos.
Thank you for all the effort that you put into it.
Would you say the alphafly is faster than the vaporfly over a shorter distance such as 5/10k?
What would you recommend for a running shoe for mens who want to run everyday to keep fit for soccer?
Hey. I have a quick question. I recently bought the alphafly 2 for running the 1600, 3200, and 5k. I understand these are for marathons but I really love them and are used to them now. Money is not the issue, it is the fact that these shoes break/weardown so easily. I use them as trainers and everyday shoes as in going to get coffee and work in these. Would you reccomend the alphafly 3. I am worried that they will breakdown just as easily.
What Nike shoe would you recommend for tempo runs if I have a daily trainer and a race shoe?
What about Nike Air Zoom Tempo which was your favourite last year? Has it been discontinued?
Great video! Could we have similar for adidas please
What one would you recommend for running on treadmill?
Please make a review of Every Adidas Running Shoes. Please make it happen Ben Parkes 🙏
Would the new vomero be a good replacement for my many pairs of Peg Turbo 2s?
Also a video like this about Adidas would be interesting 🧐
Every time I see your close up, I think, they look too big for you?! Have just bought my (first) marathon shoes and inspired by this I went a half size up in case of movement / swelling. Would love a more in-depth ‘fitting/sizing’ episode.
Hey Ben, thanks for the great video and honest feedback. I am kind of a starter and would like to know your feedback for the Nike Revolution - could you please share some feedback on the same ?
Hey Ben! What about New Balance 2024 lineup? I love my NB XMore V4. 😁
I am an avid fan of Nike running shoes ever since I was engaged in Marathon running way back 2017, and I own different types of it. Per my experience using it all, I can say that my most favorite pairs would be the Nike Infinity Run React 3 and the Nike Pegasus 39! I love the stability and durability of the Nike React, and versatility on my Nike Peg. Feels really good with my feet, and it’s so comfortable! With my Nike Invincible 3 and Nike Zoomfly 4, I often roll my feet, and I actually had sprained my ankle. :( Nike Vaporfly on the other hand feels so tight that my feet can’t wear it for a longer time. Just my two cents. :)
I’d love reviews on Topo and Altra shoes!! It would be a little bit different and very interesting.
Hey Ben, Great video!! I just got into running but i dont have a good pair of running shoes, and i have looked at the nike shoes in their app and the prices are very expensive. It costs $340 for vaporflys and $390 for alphaflys, I'm just wondering where I can get a good price, because in the video it says the vaporflys cost $270 but i cant find that price anywhere! I would be very happy if i could get an answer :)
Vomero or Superblast?
ASICS or Saucony next please and thank you
Hi Ben,hugs from Brazil here! Nice analysis! Here in Brazil we´ve the Olympikus, national brand industry of sneakers! Very good ones, nothing to desire to Nike ,Adidas,Puma. Do you ever try one of these? I´ll hope that you make tests with some Olympikus sneakers! See ya!👟🎽
Is the Nike structure 25 a new shoe? Or have you not tried them.
What about the structure 25? (3rd fav nike shoe behind alphafly and vomero)
Which one is good between Vomero 17 & Invincible 3?
Thank you for making sense of all of these options. As someone who sometimes follows running shoe tech along and sometimes doesn't, this is a great refresher on where the line up stands today.
I've been very happy with the Peg 39 I've gotten, once my previous pair wore down I got a Peg 39 premiums on sale and went with those. I can be all day on these, I can go walk the dog, I can go on a quick jog or I can use them for a bit of tennis stroke drills here at home, provided I'm not doing more leg oriented drills that are better served with some purpose tennis shoes.
Once these are done I might try the vomero 17s on your recommendation, but if the price is right on the Pegagsus 40(or 41) those will probably be it for me again.
I just ordered infinity Rn4. I badly need shoes my Pegasus 40 and mizuno are done for. I’m gonna test it out this week.
Update??
How about their trail range?
Only stability shoe in their lineup? What about the Structure - has that been discontinued? 5:05
Downshifter 12 vs revolution 7 which is better for 5 km run everyday??
Ben, i have around £150 for trainers that i plan to run a marthon in, in april. What are your suggestions?
