What would you save LOL ? Nick Stellino........ " save the braciole ! " 😀 Good vid ! Got a pair of Thursdays, Love 'em ! More comfortable to me than my Wolverine 1000 mi. boots.
I can’t agree with you more, I’ve been wearing 3 pairs of RM Williams boots for 14 years. I rotate them through my weekly wear. Pay a bit more but it will save you over the long term.
Antonio. Under your advice I’ve purchased several different shoes and one pair of dowler boots from Becket Simonon. I could not be happier with my purchase and I love the way they wear. Thank you
Just got some Thursday Captains. So far so good. As many other people have said, the toe box is pretty snug. That's true for me, even though I have pretty narrow feet. I followed Thursday's advice of sizing down a half size from my sneaker size, but I considered exchanging for my sneaker size because of the snug toe box. Ultimately, I didn't exchange because I'm expecting some stretching from break-in and I don't want the next half size up to slip in the heel (which has been an issue for me with some dress shoes). All that to say that you may not want to size down from your sneaker size because of the sleek toe box.
Well, I love the look of boots especially with jeans! I even bought two pairs of Allen Edmonds boots this past year (brown Dalton and black Long Branch) that I've been wearing quite a lot! I also like to wear side-zip Beatle-style, cowboy, and motorcycle boots as well!
Well done! For me, protection is the best thing about boots. Also, styles with a side zipper are even easier to take on and off at TSA than slip-on shoes.
Once you go boots, you can never go shoes! I'm working as a musician in a music store, so people around me wears Converse or Vans, and other sneakers like Nike, Puma, Adidas. So me, wearing boots makes myself stands out compared to others. And like Antonio said, I love the height on the boots, and protects my legs when i'm inside the warehouse while organizing boxes of instruments when the shipment came. Currently got my eyes on Nick's Boots. Hope i could get a pair one day
Me too man I’m hoping to get two more as my next purchase, my first boots I ever got was from them a month ago I’m only gonna but from them lol affordable and durable quality
My views on boots. North American bootmakers make the best looking field/service origin boots like Viberg, Oakstreet or Wolverine. The best looking hunting/farming originated boots come from UK like Crockett & Jones or Edward Green. If you look the most beautiful dress boots go to Italian or other European artisans (e.g. Paolo Scafora, Enzo Bonafe, Saint Crispins). How do you see Antonio?
Hey Antonio, I'm in my Marketing Class and we're talking about the quality of products and my Professor showed an infographic about a $200 suit compared to a $2000 suit with Real Men Real Style at the bottom of the picture. I thought that was dope because I watch you.
Antonio which pair of Thursday boots are your favorite? I recently bought the Vanguards in burnt copper and they are beautiful. I also just ordered the Cavalier chelsea boots in the shadow grey and can’t wait to get them
I need more dress boots! A pair of Thursday Cavalier Chelseas is in my future. I always appreciate the organized, thorough presentation of your videos, and this one is no exception.
I bought a pair of the cheapest genuine leather boots I could find back when I was a student and those boots were used from like august to april every year for like 5 years and there's practically no wear on them, I still wear them occasionally. Amazing what a bit of maintenance can do even on a pair of $60 boots
I got sick of my sneakers falling apart and looking like shit after only 6 months of use, with regular care and cleaning. It’s almost like there’s a certain 300 billion dollar company that wants my money every 500 miles… So I got some Chukkas and Mid-Ankle Dress Boots on the cheap. Clarks has some crazy discounts in-store. Let’s see if these boots can make it a year while still looking alright. If they die around then, it’s ok, I’ll get newer, cooler boots.
I'm in Switzerland and I can't remember when I saw the last time someone wearing cowboy boots here. No one wears them here. So I always stick out with my black cowboy boots with phyton inlays.
Which style of boot should I buy? Soon I'm moving to a place where it rains often so which would be the most versatile? That is a boot that I could dress up or down as well? What would you recommend?
Hi guys! I recently bought some boots but I've noticed some creasing right in the middle the toebox. Now, I don't mind creasing in the right places of the boots but I had never seen creasing in the toe box. Thoughts?
when im going out i only wear boots- i just received my John Fluevog Chelsea dress boots (they're outstanding). I also just ordered another pair of dress chelseas from Meermin since their sale was so great. Also, do you have a video where you talk about the heel of the shoes or boots and the different types and styles, maybe the options that the cobbler will give you when replacing them ? Thanks
Another great video!! What are your thoughts on wearing boots with shorts as I like that style but most people wear sneakers? Also, what socks would one wear if pairing boots with shorts?
I used to wear army boots with cargo shorts. You can also do a Timberland boot or from Thursday boots, the longer. Unusual look but I’m sure you can pull it off.
Suede Chukkas you can wear year round? or do boots seem out of place when the weather is hot? Sorry if I missed it in the video. Fantastic work as always!
You can definitely wear boots year round, as long as your feet don't get uncomfortably hot where you live. The only real rule is that, since boots are more casual by nature, don't wear them with a suit or anything formal like that. You don't want to be that guy.
@@jeremyt2212 Absolutely true I've never been a boots guy really so I want to try it out. I've always worn sneakers and casual shoes and always looked pretty good don't mean to brag sorry haha! I think I'll try out a suede and wear with my lightweight cotton dress socks since I dont think invisible socks would look decent with boots but that's just me let me know what you think. I live in AZ where it gets really hot but the cold comes for 4-5 months in the year in my area.
Where would you recommend to buy dress shoes/boots for wide feet? They only place I see with E and EE is Allen Edmonds, and I was hoping not to spend quite that much.
I am confused between formal shoes and sport shoes witch i will take but I found all qualities in boots so deside to take boots and after seeing your video i am happy with my decision 😊😊😊
i'm a big fan of boots. Except the kind with a zip on the side. I have a pair which I used to wear. But the zip takes a lot away from the rugged quality. Makes them kind of look like women's shoes Here's a tip too. Get a good pair of elevator boots. Just moderately raised above normal boot height. Not for the height boost as such but to extend your leg length in comparison to your torso length. It also makes you look leaner and really seems to get women's attention
NICE! I don’t own a pair of boots. In the future I will have to get some. I like their Captain and President models. I would always get a black pair but what color variation out of the brownish category would you recommend that would be the most versatile?
Thanks! You just provided me with ammunition for my lifestyle choices! :P Always prefer boots to shoes. I really like how your brand has evolved, and I am really enthused to followup on the equipment used part of the liner notes. Thanks again

You can use regular cedar shoe trees, and Woodlore (from Allen Edmonds) also has cedar boot trees.
