prebuilt keyboard is sure getting on another level rn
Just bought it today, this keyboard brings a lot of fun considering it only costs 100$. Chilkey ND75 steping up the game of prebuild keyboard!
I bought the 1.6mm non-flexcut pcb version from Dangkeebs as a pre-order. I'm glad they have the option! So much about this keyboard is like lower priced custom keyboards, such as Zoom, QK, Neo, and TKD. I can't wait to try mine out!
what an amazing review I follow u instantly
Great video as always! On the dongle storage system, do you think theres any place inside the board that could act as a little holder, given that removing the top is a simple task? Maybe with a small bit of double sided velcro tape.
please make a comparasion video between ND75, Rainy75 and Bridge75 in the future
This is an amazing deal and looks really high quality. The only thing is that wireless switch is probably the most inconvenient switch I've ever seen lol.
Thanks for the video!
Great content. What's the polling rate of the board (with 2,4GHz or cable connection)?
Love the ways you share your experiences with this keyboard. Very Details and useful.
Btw how you remove the top alu case when using top mount?
Thanks
Taking the thing apart is the same, just takes a bit more force with the top mount config heh.
Just got my Rainy75 Standard in yesterday, it's a nice as I hoped. It's not a QK75n but quite amazing for half the price. This looks quite promising as well, really love the purple on it!
Hey quick question, if you check wobkeys website you can pre order a keyboard and it says it will be fulfilled before June. Do you think it’s a legit website? Everything I’ve checked says it’s legit but I’m scared at throwing 130$ at a website I know nothing about lol I wanna trust wobkey
So I got my ND75 in today, while not as poppy I find the feel very similar to the Rainy75 (standard). I do like how easy it is to get into it though. Out of those and the Lemokey P1 and the AL75 they are all pretty phenomenal for the price and all have pluses and minuses but the AL75 is about 2mm, maybe 3mm, lower in the front than the others. While it does have less of angle than I would prefer, that initial height means it's super easy for me to use with out a wrist rest and as a tactile guy I really love the Yunzii Blue Grey switch. Overall though I don't think anyone could go wrong getting one of these 2024 AL keyboards for somewhere around $100... amazing quality for the price! Colorwise I think the ND wins though, I got the purple and it's simply stunning! Was going to put Osume dusk on it but the included caps are much nicer than expected!
"less than a 100$" 99.99 and 40$ of shipmend lol
It’s $89 right now
@@FWS_Sinistermb, 99$ plus 45$ of shipping and another 45$ of customs, mfs made me pay 180$ for that piece of shxt
@@wtfurlookingat1514 says $89 for me and $25 shipping. Sorry man
Great review as always !
Has your voice gotten even smoother recently? 🌞
Thank you! Big fan btw~
I recorded the voiceover for this video right after a night out partying with some friends so my voice was still in recovery mode hahaha
@@Merkeebs You will need to party more then because it sounds great 🤣
Big fan as well🌞
Damn. Kinda wished I hadn't already pre-irdered my Rainy 75 now, lol. 😅
Those blues be lookin real nice
Fr fr the blue is insanely nice in person
imagine chilkey also provide different plate choice like alu,fr4 or even cf. that would be amazing
how much of a difference do you think that the 1.6mm pcb will have that comes out and in july and do you think its worth waiting or not?
Amazing value. Almost makes me regret ordering Rainy. Almost 😅
Another keyboard worth buying!
Bridge75 plus is also one of the best option if you dont like lcd screen on a keebs, VIA support, a better implementation external weight + it has a bigger battery (2x4000mah),
Been seeing alot of recent uploads of the Bridge75 and I'm keen to give it a look. Here's hoping Shortcut studio is interested in working together heh.
Well not avail in ph :(
10:00 the goat
Was there really no "foamless" soundtest? or did I miss it?
Wow, lots of newer features in a sub (USD) $100 keyboard. Still waiting on my Rainy75's and pissed at how WOBKey prioritized vendors and aliexpress over its actual backers. Would you choose this over the Rainy75? Only downside for me seems to be now VIA support.
I was torn between this and a qk75n for the rotary knob but i realized i dont really need a knob, so i went with the nd75 instead of waiting for the rainy75, I can let you know how it compares to my keychron k2 with gat blacks when it arrives
@@grimacetv I just watched Hipyo's video on the Chillkey and feel the Rainy75 is definitely better. The VIA support for me is huge, the screen on this thing looks cheap (if you want a better screen UI get a QK or Zoom) and sounds horrible if you like a foamless build. The only thing I'd say this keyboard has on the Rainy is the screwless assembly, but that's a non-factor if you're not opening up your keyboard a lot (which I think most people who are in the budget keyboard field never will)
@@itsyagirlapes I had those same feelings as well, I dont need via support currently but I understand the appeal. I was looking at both the zoom and qk75 but ended up just deciding that I'm happy with an upgrade from my keychron k2 to gasket mounting options and the screen albeit may not be the best will work fine for the simple stuff Im gonna program on it. I do like having the option of the pull off to relube after months if needed, and for cleaning.
@@grimacetv My Rainy75's actually just came in the mail. I gotta say, it's definitely worth it. The sound is amazinggggg right out of the box. Building them for my brother and my girlfriend but tempted to steal one for myself instead hahaha. I rarely open my keyboards so while the screwless disassembly is cool, I'm happy with my choice. I hope you find whatever works best for you!
@@itsyagirlapes yeah mainly this upgrade was just for shits and gigs basically to try out a gasket mount for 120 shipped , recently got a rt100 with the silent switches for my office job and that’s been amazing too
hey man, how is it for gaming?
How much shipping to ph?
With shipping it turns into 120-130. If it were actually 89+tax to your door it would be unbeatable at the moment, but at the real price there's a couple other competitive options.
It's kind of a standard that priced listed in USD never include shipping and tax.
It'll always be deceiving no matter what you shop
@@ZedBC It's often wrong and misleading. One of the main worldwide vendors of boards in this tier has free shipping and no sales tax at all. So for a board like this ND75, if it isn't listed on there and not on Amz/Ali with free shipping either, then it is simply at a substantial competitive disadvantage.
how does this compare to the rainy75? do you prefer this one over it
Feels like they are the same))
I wish they swapped the lcd for a knob, lcd is not that useful for me on a keyboard
how long the battery will last with 2.4 wireless connect and active screen ?
2 x 1800mah = weaksauce
probably somewhere less than a month
which one is better rainy 75 nd75 or bridge75?
Which? I cant decide
which one is better, rainy75 or this one?
good question.
this vs the womier sk65?
which is better?
Really depends on your personal preference. If I was to make a choice between the two, this ND75 is an easy choice.
I cant find the switches anywhere. link?
The switches come with the board by default and aren't sold on their own. Not sure if they'll be sold separately tbh.
bang coba bikin keyboard clicky tapi yang suaranya enak
silica gel but not to be used as desiccant :>
Can't change the pcb 💀 only flex cut pcb left
Using the link
46$ for shipping, outch.
where is foamless D:
Sorry I couldn't include it in this video.
But I'll try and upload a foamless sound test in a UA-cam short when I can. I really did wanna do one for this video but I didn't have alot of time to play around with all of the possible configs because I was trying to catch up with my video backlog :(
@@Merkeebs np great content as always
Out of all 4, this take the W because it have 1.6mm pcb version
is the non flex beetter?
@@Dragos3 of course it will, unless you're going for a foamy and flexy build
@@minhquanvu2944 Oh, I'm very conflicted with getting the flex cut or non flex cut version. What is like the difference. I am brand new so 😭. I see a lot of people buying flex cut because I assume non flex wasn't avaiable and I see any people wanted the non flex. Which is like better sounding, and has better feel ?
@@Dragos3 flex cut make the sound between each key more even, offer a more bouncy typing experience, but you exchange it for a thinner 1.2mm and much more fragile PCB. The 1.2mm PCB creates thinner and weaker sound compared to 1.6mm PCB. Also due to all the flex cut, all that sound is gonna slip through and make the sound even more muted. To fix that, manufacturers put foam in there to seal off the chamber, but it can only sound foamy and can only sound good when being packed full of foams. Clacky is a no no for it.
1.6mm PCB on the other hand, doesn't depend on foam. It can sound clacky, creamy or thocky however you want the sound to be. Putting foam in is still an option.
1.2mm PCB can't make full travel switches sound good, especially Cherry switches. 1.6mm PCB can feel super rough if met with a very short travel, heavy tactile.
So in conclusion, get the 1.6mm non flex cut, it offers you all except bounciness
@@minhquanvu2944 thank you for your detailed analyzations! Which one do you think is more comfortable for fast and long hours of typing? Is like the sound difference THAT huge because many people said you really wouldn't notice it unless u pay attention to it.
