I bought a large thick bladed heavy duty knife 🔪 from a Goodwill for .50 cents.. or something.. for clean plug digging 😉 Don’t need it sharp or pointed.. matter of fact I ground mine to a squared off slightly rounded point and works well for areas where you want a clean plug that can be cleanly replaced so the peeps don’t complain about the diggings.. usually it’s difficult to find where I’ve even dug! Thanks ✌️PT
Wow, I love seeing the sun shining in the background! Better weather is coming and that means more adventures!!!! Great job on another video, awesome find.
I swing a Whites MXT as well.... dig those pull tabs and high end foil .... gonna miss rings and small chains.... I dig all pull tabs and foil ... plus look for a book called The MXT Edge
I'm actually looking for one today I'm trying to find just an old piece of tarp that I can cut a strip from definitely need it trying to find a sharper digging tool as well for cutting butter plugs thanks for watching! I have my metal detector with me today at work so hopefully I can get some chances to find something new!
Too bad WHITE'S went out of business. They had some good detectors and literally millions of good finds were made (Folks still use them) ....Heck, I've been thinking about buying a decent used model that'll help me find some goodies. I wish someone would take over the company and revive the brand.
Garrett purchased all of the blueprints and designs and they’re going to be continuing the products just under a different name but I have switched to nokta
Hi friend love your vids! I was wondering if you could make a video of your display screen of this machine as you test good targets and trash targets in the Relic Mode? or if you had a minute just tell me what bottle caps, and various sized pull tabs ring in on the screen as objects and VDI's in the Relic mode? thanks so much
I usually don't run in relic mode. I usually run in coin and prospecting mode to try to determine the type of metal it is. Pull tabs are usually in the same range as nickels so I dig most in the 15 to 20 but if it jumps to iron a lot it tends to be a pull tab.
Well it has a prospecting mode and finds treasure so myself and pretty much every other gold channel consider them part of the tool kit. But there’s always some keyboard miner wanting to chime in and sound dumb! Thanks for the laugh! And learn how to spell!
Hey nice hunt my friend! Great detector from your Granddad! Cheers and thanks for taking us along. Aaron

That's a good idea. The plug was definitely bigger when I first anticipated it to be
I need to get a little piece of tarp as well so after I have the initial plug cut I'll have something to put the dirt on
Thanks for the video. Looked like a fun day outside and found a few treasures.😎👍👍👌👌⛏⛏⚒⚒
The findsjust keep getting better. That cap gun is great
I thought it was cool!
I enjoy watching your videos no matter which one your doing.

I can't wait to have a day of metal detecting with you!

Nice Job. Consider using a drop cloth when digging.

That isn't a shovel. It's a trowel. Good luck with your detecting.
Yhis isn't prospecting
