Radios are definitely allowed to be upgraded in an otherwise-stock and clean vehicle. I love my old tapes but the convenience of MP3, bluetooth, even just my CD binder is hard to ignore. Either way, love these IDIZ update vids! 🍻
Hey Colt. I used to repair those things before we started throwing them away. Those magnetic heads get dirty and oxidized. A little isopropyl alcohol and a gun cleaning patch will work wonders on the tape head. Hope this helps bud.
I got one of those tape cleaning tapes you put in and play and put the liquid on it, but it didn’t help it any. I’ll have to take it apart and try that! 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
I had a problem with and an 80s ford installing a new cd player, come to find out that ford used 4 positives and a single ground to the speakers. Once I figured that out and ran individual wires to the speakers I was golden.
