Hopefully the Switch 2 will be enough of an upgrade to provide Square with a larger user base for Final Fantasy.
My overall grade for Sony this gen is an A so far, love the PS5 hardware, my favorite controller. Almost every game I’ve played on PS5 has been 60fps. It’s a huge Quality of Life upgrade. Really looking forward to the PS5 Pro.

Been in service my whole life. Never seen a tip not go to the server. Kitchen never gets any. They get paid 20 an hour servers get 7 if lucky. It's a mess.

The ray tracing claims were always obviously false. I have a PC with an RTX 3080 and it can do ray tracing well, not spectacularly well. It was always obvious that a 500 dollars console would never be able to do it.

I still wish Game Pass had a tipping feature. I would love to throw developers an extra $5 or $10 for games that I have zero intention of ever buying. There are even some games that I wasn't a huge fan of but would still tip because I appreciated what they were trying to accomplish. But as pointed out in the show, the money is likely to end up in the publisher's bank instead of the developers.
Right now I'm playing Yakuza like a dragon and it's my first in the franchise. When I finish it I might get infinite wealth.

Hard disagree on Square not trying to appeal to younger audiences sooner. They keep making their RPG aspects simpler and more streamlined to the point there are no status effects in FF16. They want to be the call of duty of RPGs, but alienated their fan base AND they aren't attracting new user AND they got exclusive. Since 13 Square feels like they're making the game they think you want to play, not the game the designers would play. But I haven't played rebirth yet so I'll withhold judgement on that title in particular.

There are less than 30 million people on PS5 whod buy Final Fantasy, but there are 2 billion PC players potentially who would. It's entirely an exclusivity issue, even though Final Fantasy has been running out of steam since XII.
Yeah but those 2 billion have pcs for different reasons and have a lot more choice. It still sells poorly.
I'm able to subscribe with prime on my android phone through the app. It even says what day you're able to subscribe again, which I think is new. Made the calendar reminder!
Honestly quite hyped for PS5 Pro. Was very happy with the PS5 performance on release but we’re gradually seeing more games with slightly uneven frame rates.
I’m glad not everyone seems to be as excited as I am though because I don’t want a repeat of the nightmare that was trying to get a launch PS5

I genuinely don't understand how anyone could claim the Playstation 5, which is just a souped up PS4, is better than the Series X for one, but for two, is good in any capacity. I genuinely wonder where these people get their opinions from.
Better games, better graphics, better interface, better controller. it's just better in every way, if you don't see it then the problem is you, not others.
Each to their own on which one they prefer, but to say the PS5 is not good in any capacity is pretty extreme
