32 Foot 2003 Blue Bird All American RE 8.3L Cummins & MD3060 | Full Tour

Just got home from a 1200 mile trip with the bus I bought sight unseen on auction. She handled the trip home like an absolute champ. I love this bus, and kind of hate my old bus now haha.
I always wanted a rear engine but never wanted a 40 footer, so when I saw this 10 window I instantly knew I needed to buy it. It measures 32 feet long and has so much room for activities.

When you put in the shower, you might consider installing a bubble dome sky light (opening type) which will give you even more head room as well as allowing the steamy mist to exit the bus. If there is room below the floor, maybe you could install the shower pan a couple of inches lower, giving you even more vertical space. I saw a bus conversion done by another tall guy who used both these steps, and he also built a removable wooden grate to set on top of the shower pan. Pretty nifty setup. Good luck with your build.

hahah tell me about it!! The bright side is I wont be trying to live in this one while I'm converting it which I did in the last one. I have so much more experience with all things conversion related. But that means I'm also going to do a much more complicated conversion too haha. So it's gonna be a huge project regardless. Very clean and at a pretty nice price. I do industrial fab and did a 26" raise on a friend's conversion last summer. He's 6'8" and loves not bumping his head. Also did a full roof rack/ mezzanine with drop down bed style rails and a flip down aluminum stair case with a folding slide out awning under the rack if he's cooking outdoors. His genset and solar panels are up there too. His was a 40 footer I believe. Best of luck in your journey and you got my sub!

26" raise wow haha you guys are crazy! Does he drive it often? Sounds like an awesome build, I imagine its over 12' tall. I would love to see a photo of that beast.
