- This bus is equipped with an Allison automatic transmission, don't quite know the transmission model but it does have the Caterpillar C7 Acert and both the body, transmission and engine have less than 140k on it and it is for sale for $3,000 or best offer.
Here is the link for it.

I went to school in Brunswick back from 06-11... I miss these things so much now thay I'm out of college. I remember when these things came out NEW and they were the $hit
School buses these days look older, but stronger. The new school buses have more technology inside, even the doors open modern. This is great
My school still has old Ford carpenter school buses I ride one to school every day and there’s about 4 of the buses in all
I had one of these buses in elementary school such a classic
I still train new driver's on a 2004 84 passenger bluebird, that bus still runs like it's brand new. It's load but doesn't rattle at all.
I know my school district has these All Americans but they’re rear engined. I don’t know what engine they have but they sound pretty powerful with turbos.
Not A Bad Bus. I Love The Sound, Of The Tourk.
Judging by the rust and they may not have retired it but it might have failed inspection, depending on what part of the country this bus came from. Shes pretty scabby looking around the edges but runs good
6:35 I heard the engine fan on one of the other buses and it sounds really good
Oldest my fleet has still in service is a 2006. Shes in beautiful shape though!
Your BB/AA bus has a 190 inch wheelbase, a C7 Cat engine and an Allison automatic, probably a model 2500, air brakes, seats 74 passengers and is a model A3 FE 3408. What horse power is your engine? I just bought a 2004 BB/AA also, only mine is an RE, 78 passenger, 245 inch wheelbase, has air ride all around, 260 hp Cummins and an Allison MD3060 transmission and air brakes. Welcome to the club!
Did you guys buy the bus

Cat c7 7.2l
I hope you got it for a good price?
$2,000 is what I bought it for.
Sold it for $800.
@@100mgd so you lost $1200?
Hi, I have a question for you
Yes?
"Why is it so loud" oh, child...
31:57 seems like 2600 is all shes doing
Cat motors are much more durable and dependable than Cummins, plus they generally get better mileage, I have several hundreds of thousands on each,,so I'm a pretty qualified judge
It looks like a Ohio or Illinois bus
I think it is
Ohio
STOP on E-Door
Only Ohio has it written like that, as mandated by the Ohio Revised Code.
Eeek, C7s don't make power, they make good boat anchors, lol.
