Most of what you said is true, I own these myself. However I think this video only highlights the pros and doesn't even mention the cons. Just to name a few, my ears do find discomfort after a long gaming session because the top of my ear does rest against the inside of the cups. I'm sure not everyone will experience this but it can be a cause for concern. Additionally the headset is not comfortable wearing around your neck as most wireless headsets are . The cups dig into your neck and it can be a concern for people that plan to use these out and about. Finally I would say that this reviewer does not mention that the mic is still not up to par with wired headsets and can be significantly worse then what many people would expect out of a new gaming headset. All in all though I have loved this headset and highly recommend it . Even though I recommend this product I don't like that the cons were not expressed because they can matter for some people thinking of buying this.
i have used arctic 3 for some years now and I like everything besides the fact that the top of my ears hurt after some hours because I can't adjust the headset to not be resting on top of my ear. I also think the little strap that your headset rests gets longer after you use them so it gets worse over time. I think you can order new ones though. still i loved the arctic 3's so I'm happy to try these and see if the straps have been improved or if it was just the straps getting more stretched over time
First bought a pair for half the price before returning them and buying this one. For twice the price, it's way more that 2x better, absolutely worth it. I love them, super comfortable, great sound, light, nice microphone, good look and good battery life. The only criteria left for me to judge is durability. At that price, I expect it to last at the very least for 2 years.

If you have a PS5, the 7P supports the new Tempest 3D AudioTech, and has some minor few Updates like the smaller USB C receiver. There are no other big differences between the 7 and 7P I think.
I would go with the 7. Heck, If you compare the 7p with the wired Arctic 1 on the Steelseries website, there is such minimal difference that doesn't justify a £110 gap in price. With the 7p you are paying more for aesthetics and comfort, not really for the mic/audio quality. Check the specifications on their website it gives the best comparison between all the headphones For some reason, they are marketing the 7p as if they were the only headphones supporting the Tempest 3D audio, which is not true. empest 3D audio comes from the PS5, not from the headphones, most headphones will support this.

I can only get it to work on my Xbox Series S when it is plugged into my controller. However when I plug the wireless receiver into my Xbox Series S, the headset connects to the receiver but my system doesn't recognize it. No sound. No mic. Nothing. @@adambeinhardt9035 Nothing is that perfect and giving criticism or having an opinion doesn't mean they don't like them.
His script sounds like I'm reading directly off the product page than consuming a review, dunno maybe its just his style of writing. It just felt more like an AD.
@@Alacod19 my interpretation was that he thought it was good value for money. They aren’t amazing studio headphones but they don’t have to be for $150. The point is that for the price point he believes they are very good.
@@adambeinhardt9035 Your comment feels like a review. just that short sentence conveyed everything I need to know about the product. sounds good for its price point just don't expect to get the same quality as a studio quality headset..
His review conveyed to me that there is no reason to buy those more expensive headsets. I don't know maybe its just the way he writes and my brain too stupid to interpret it the way he meant.
Grabbing one tomorrow for my Xbox Series X
nice dude,to bad it's not wireless on the Xbox.
@@Caliboss112 The 7x exist...
Did this work for your xbox series x?
How do you like them on the Xbox x?
Does it work with ps5?
My mic on these sound so muffled... Andy solutions for this? Ive tried everything
if you mean sinusy like you have a cold, it’s just the mic. you can’t expect the most out of wireless headphones
Some ppl said that may be cause by Windows. Check your "Recording Devices" settings on sound settings, the microphone might be set to 8000hz, which is bad

No and yes. You need to plug into the line in on the USB dongle and then into the back of your TV/ monitor
@@roguewave9404 thank you
does it work on ps5 wirelessly
What is this headset like in terms of bass/treble for listening to music? Been using the turtle beach elite 800’s for a few years on ps4 and they have been good.
I would love to have an answer to this question as well. I truly love my Elite 800's but I upgraded to the PS5 so I cant't use them anymore.. Looking for a headset with similar quality
Does it work on Xbox Series X tho?
I want2kno that also I'm quite sure they do
I cannot figure out how to connect wireless on Xbox 1? Any tips??
Have you seen the Arctis 7X designed for XBOX? The casual Arctis 7 only works for Playstation as far as I know even though there is also the Arctis 7P spefically designed for the Playstation. So to conclude: Arctis 7 for PC, Arctis 7P for Playstation and Arctis 7X for XBOX. Same goes for the Arctis 5 and Arctis 9 I think
Will this work on a ps5?
Yes
yes .
Steelseries Arctic 9 wireless or HyperX Cloud II Wireless ?
Personally, I had the HyperX Cloud II Wireless for a few days and during those days, I had immense jaw pain. I’d chose the Arctis 9 over it.

Still waiting for The USB type C version.....
??? lmao who needs usb c on a headset?
There is a SteelSeries Arctis 7+ its have the usb type c
I tried the Arctis 1 Wireless from my nephew, the multimedia controls were nice wanted to get one too but there was this, was really hoping it had the multimedia controls too but it doesn't lol
I have the wired HyperX cloud 2s and I was wondering if these would sound better
Same situation, have the cloud 2, just bought Arctis 9, hope they sound better.
I bought these when upgrading from cloud IIs because i wanted wireless. To be honest i think the hyper x's actually sounded a bit better and they are more comfortable than the steel series in my opinion
What’s the difference between these 7’s and the 7p’s? Do 7’s connect to a ps5?
Yeah they do. The 7p has a usb c adapter and sidetone feature for ps5. Doesn't really have a big difference
Whats that wood thing were he puts the headphones called
Wooden headphone stand
I'd buy the 7p version except for the charger being last gen, which makes the pricing for these units a little much.
7X works on all platforms, it's a no brainer.
@@karl343 Except chatmix dials on the 7X only work on Xbox, so you miss out on them when using PC
Ive had this for awhile I have a problem where my bluetooth isnt working
You can’t use it wireless on Xbox I’m pretty sure
It's not Bluetooth
i tried hard to like arctis headsets and they are trash the worst part about them is the sound quality its muddy and if you try to equalize it sounds distorted the default tune is even worse then changed one
You you got the same headphone stand as me
Is this headset good on Xbox?
It's good on Switch and PS5, but not Xbox, no.
You can use them wired.
