Steelseries S1 drivers on my arctis 3 are perfect for hearing all the small details in the games but they lack warmth and bass and can feel a bit too high on the treble. I'm using the Razer Kraken TE atm but the steelseries ski band is super comfortable
I used the kraken TE, the cable broke in under a week for just moving my head. Got a refund, bought the arctis 5 for cheaper. Definitely more comfortable, sound wasn't like the kraken but its not bad. The thing I liked was that the cable could be replaced, yet my cable is still intact for the past 2 months.
@@xulse nice. That's one concern for me. The wire is non replaceable so if it breaks it breaks and I will probably not got a replacement cause of wear and tear even if it's under warranty. But I only use them with my xbox so hopefully the last a long time

I bought a razer kraken pro V2 in 2017 and I still use it daily. The only problem with mine is that the leather from the ear cups are wearing out. The sound is still fine but I noticed left side is just a tiny bit louder than my right now. It’s been almost 4 years so I’m thinking of getting a new headset. I am also looking at the steelseries.

The "normal" version was released in 2015 or 2016 I'm pretty sure, the 2019 version has dtx 2.0 surround sound (whatever it is) and a tiny change to the cable length and ear cushion things
There isn't a USB port on any of the Xbox controllers unfortunately, you can still use the audio the audio is great but, if you want RGB you have to plug the USB port into another device or battery bank etc.
if you want to enable it you need to go on pc then download steelseries engine then do it from there.After you have dont this it saves to the actual headset so then you can plug into your ps4 then -tada- done.

nah, i bought one today for my ps4 (works just like the ps5). RGB, DTS, etc. doesnt work... however, if you plug the USB directly in the ps4... only the RGB will work. so, nah man don't buy it if ur gonna use it on a console

But the lightning feature doesn’t work for it just for pc and maybe for other consoles too but not Xbox. Oh well doesn’t bother me, I am used to it and personally I say hands 🙌 down it has the best sound and I purchased the $13 originally $20 dts x from the store that we have to to get it to work I believe how I got it to work when I activated the 1 or 2 week trial for it but just when ahead and got it. It’s $108 after tax for the headset but to use it for the best hearing option for it we have to pay for the extra for it. So around $120 for it all. I got mic from GameStop. Last mic I payed the most for was around $130 for a turtle beach headset and I should of paid half price for them and less than the steel series arctis. GameStop seller said he had his around 2 years and still no problems, that’s why I got it. He also agreed to me that he don’t think turtle beach aren’t really good like on speaker eventually goes out. Good luck 🍀👍🏼 on your headset bro.
