For future reference Lance I think the camera should be a lot closer for adjusting valve clearance as I could not really see what you were doing. Cheers Ian from Markwood
G/day! Lance, a Happy New Year to you and yours. I hope all your tractors progress to completion throughout 2019. Who needs glasses when you are using a "feeler" Guage? Keep up the good videos mate. I am on a learning curve with your expertise....
I see where you set the valves for each piston separately. Is there any benefit compared to doing 1, 2, 3 and 5 valves with on TDC and rotate a full turn to do 4 and 6 valves?
Happy New Year, Lance. Very thankful that you share your experiences and knowledge; it is greatly appreciated. I love the 135 and I'm considering buying one. Your thoughts on the variants would be insightful, like the gas vs. the diesel, Multi Power vs. standard, and anything else you feel may pertain.
All the best Lance. I have two questions (not related to this build). First off are the tires, on the tractor behind you, aren't the treads facing the wrong direction? Second question would you recommend the aviation sealant on the engine cases of my 50 year old Triumph motorbike to stop it "marking it's territory" on my pristine garage floor?
G Day Grant, Tractor tyres have the arrow pointing forward at the top for traction but towards the rear if on the road a lot for less road wear. These are on correctly I reckon. On the old Triumph i would use loctite 515.
best 3cyl Perkins build on the web! Hell, it's the only one! Thanks from Eastern North Carolina, USA
Thanks Kelly.
Happy New Year from East Yorkshire! Great to have you back after the festivities!
Happy New Year Charles.

Yep you are probably right
Happy new year Lance and family
Happy New Year Colin, Hope you have a great one.
All the best for 2019 Lance
Thanks Philip, Happy New Year.
What happens when you interchange the valves positions
Nothing serious really it is just good practice to fit the valves into the seal they were in as they are possibly lapped in to that seat.
Happy new year Lance. Another great video. From Charles at Nerimbera.
Thanks Charles, Happy New Year.
Another great video Lance all the best for 2019 from Ian

No same end result, I just go this way from habbit I suppose but both are fine.

Hi Lance, troubke hearing you in this one lance, had to put headphones on and turn up into the red.
G Day Derek, I just checked it out and sounds good at my end. Buggered if I know with the sound.
Hello .brother wich size. Of (feeler)gauge for best adjustment.
0.012" Would do it
I think that AD-3 would be better off in my old MF40 backhoe on the farm ! Cheers .
G Day Max, Well I cant agree with that as I would need to start again, lol.

Does it matter if you set them with the feeler on the tappet screw side?
It wont fit under the screw as it is a dome
