How the 2 girls end up there in the first place with that rough water? Is it because the want a great photo to post in sosial media, and then slipped in the water or what?

When I was 15 a guy named Alejandro saved me from drowning at South Padre Island beach in Corpus Christi, TX. True heroes I said video where these young guys were watching somebody drown and they were laughing what happened so it isn't what anybody would do it's what a hero did or does
@Cory Burns got a link, you fat fuckin’ liar?
It is what anyone else would do. Especially trained life guards. I think it's awesome this happened. I'm laughing a bit because...of this.... I jumped into riptide in St Pete Florida swam out approx 200 meters with an 5 gallon bucket to save a family of 4 they each were able to barely hang on ..the current brought us back to the inner coastal...that took about 20 min and the dad almost gave up twice while we were out there. There were two adults in there early 50s and 2 children approx 8 and 10 they were terrible swimmers and I am certain they would have lost a family member that afternoon. We floated back to "passe grille beach inlet" and by the time we'd made it back...I heard more screams coming from behind me. I got them to shore..swam out about 50 meters and was able to guide the other swimmer. He was attempting to rescue the other family and had grown too exhausted in his efforts. I got to him just in time. As we all regrouped at the beach people had began to gather. I was sure they were fine the ambulance and fire department showed up and my work was done. I began to walk back to the group I was with, the mother, now being cared for by the fire department yelled thank you! You saved my family!! Please let me thank that man she said as she tried to sit up...the last thing I remember is a St Pete police officer say...ma'am highly doubt it was him... folks like him dont swim. She was lifted up in a stretcher and slid into an ambulance. I left out that I'm a black man... apparently we can't swim? That's exactly what that officer meant when he said what he said. Because I was serving in the military at the time I looked exactly like a swimmer...in shape and highly motivated... I said your welcome ma'am. My team mates and I left (3witnesses) and I haven't thought about this incident since it happened 7 years ago. I hope that family is okay.
And I hope people keep being heros..good job boys. The two of you just made a life long memory for that little girl
nah, it's the teachers
Recently, there was a black man that saved the life of a Law Enforcement officer but he did not get a Carnegie Award....

I don't think this behavior is good because they would be possibly sacrificing their lives for someone they don't know and that people (the ones in the water) got there by their own stupidity. Why shouldn't they just go and save them?? because first they don't know the situation and they don't have help(from authorities or other people) and imagine how would the families of the "heroes" feel if they died? And finally, I think the correct solution would be to call 911 (I think that's the number of the united states emergency call)
@@akira1404 One of the teenagers had finished "lifeguard training" ...they were both born and raised in the area and knew about the dangerous waters. People who aren’t familiar with swimming, those waves are brutal, you would exhaust your muscles pretty quick if your not a solid swimmer. Don’t underestimate the water, easy way for a slow and drawn out drowning death. Maybe with knowing that, you can appreciate how talented that rescue was. Unfortunately even if there are some people so good and brave, things don't go everytime as this.. I would like to share a story that happened a few years ago in the region where I live, in memory of the person who saved two people but died in the process:
Two tourists went into the sea even if that day there was a strong wind and it was recommended to not go into the sea. Indeed in a few minutes they were dragged away by the underwater currents and were risking to die. A young man just got into the waters to save this two people (strangers to him), he successfully drag them nearer to the shore but then he was dragged himself by the current and died.
It was really sad that a young man died for the stupidity of two people.
most people would have their iPhones out filming the girls drowning, then rushing to post it to youtube. No, these young men are rare these days.
Not all people would jump especially if you cannot swim but you need to think fast and improvise to help the kid then immediately call for help.

As soon as I heard they were friends, I said "They're not brothers?"
Anyway these friends are heroes!
Hello from Glasgow@@jerseyjoyride1316 So lovely to meet your acquaintance. Almost like brothers-in-arms, conquering those rushing rapids. Their parents must be so proud over their brave endeavour …
@@jerseyjoyride1316 But they do both look exactly like the milk man ...
Maybe they both resemble the mailman!! j/k
@@CONEHEADDK I should have read all the replies before I wrote mine! think it's the mailman!
Their parents raised them so well. Great lifeguard instincts as well, not every guard I know would have the confidence in their skills to make that save
Nobody you know would
@@Bighannes410 ?
@@mxtt8170 like nobody you know would have done the same thing or could have
@@Bighannes410 I’m a trained lifeguard with 4+ years experience and a waterfront certification and I am good friends with many current or former lifeguards. But like I said, I don’t think all of them would have been confident in their ability to pull it off. it’s impressive is what I’m saying.
no need to hate when you know nothing about me
@@mxtt8170 no need to lie either for strangers
Great work citizens. Deserving of all the praise and honors.
Im so glad they got them out of the water and they are all safe💕💕💕
Poor little girl passed out the moment she got to safety...says a lot about the strength it takes to 'hold-on' in shaky situations...shout out to Zack and Jake👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
@Jessie Yeah she was in relief
No guys, it's not what "anyone" else would have done. Your humility becomes you, but to knowingly and genuinely put one's own life on the line for another is an act of great courage. Many will do it, but not most. You guys are in that special category. It is a small society of brothers and sisters we call "True Heroes", and it does not involve the sports or entertainment industries. Thank you, gentlemen. Semper Fi.
@RikkiO Agree, there are no true heroes in sports or entertainment because they haven't risked their life trying to save someone.
Thank you for your service.

You can tell just from the way they talk, they're good kids raised properly, mom and dad should be proud.
Yes we still have beautiful young people- thank you to them and to the parent who raised them-men of valor !
This is an incredible honor. I had nominated an Austrian citizen back in 2008. I was in the Tyrolean Alps glacier skiing in the summer. I was in a bad accident and was freezing to the ice. One of the last mountain ops guys just so happened to hear me and radioed for a heli to get me evacuated out. I would have been dead if it weren’t for him being in the right place at the right time. In 2011 I brought my entire family to Innsbruck to see him.
That’s amazing!! So glad everything worked out
I'm from innsbruck lol
These guys are real hero’s, I was once rescued by a man sent by God. I woke up unconscious in the hospital - I wish I could find him to thank him.
i hope you get the chance to one day John ❤️ glad your here to share that.
@@d00mboy13 Thankyou brother ❤️❤️
Trust me. He knows. ❤️🌷
This is what humanity should be , these should be the celebrities people look up to.
Imagine a world where everyone just did the right thing
So sweet how he took the little girl's hand after they got out of the water. Very brave young men.

What amazing and good boys. I hope to raise my littles that well. Good job parents.
Risking one’s life for a stranger. That’s a part of the human element that moves me.
Glad we have people like this in the world!
You will never receive a high, higher than saving someone’s life. Absolute best feeling in the world.
For you, maybe, but I was unaffected emotionally (twice). Still am, though I did wonder why a couple of decades later.
@@poladelarosa8399 Man, maybe you got other issues. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a douche. It comes from my heart. I think honestly that four out of five people need therapy in some way, anyways. You still did a very good thing, even if you don't feel it. It's true.
@@minimushrom therapy actually doesn’t help everyone like in Hollywood
@@poladelarosa8399 if ur whole family died tomorrow how would you feel
@@Realcordy Yeah, but it helps a lot of people. Really many. Don't know what hollywood has to do with that.. Nothing helps everybody, except for 8 hours of sleep maybe, lol. I don't understand your argument- you just want to be contrarian?
This brings tears to my eyes. Such brave young men. Their parents should be proud.
Omg, I'm in years.. they are angels without wings. With all God's blessing and strength, they deserve to be raised. Real MEN here folks!
Earth angels are sent to places where they’re needed. Those girls were so blessed.
