I have a feeling it will, previous souls games had quite a dedicated modding community and Elden Ring is the biggest title yet with so many more players
The thing with Skyrim is that it comes with a powerful modding tool and mods just plug in like dlc. Anyone can make new spells or weapon effects or even dungeons with a short UA-cam tutorial. Then we have the advanced modders who go beyond that. Making Elden Ring mods seems to require alot more effort, only to be unable to stack with other mods. So overhauls have to cover everything instead of having a mod for magic, one for progression etc. I hope someone finds a way to streamline it though
@@TheMarlz2 wellm That's not SUPER tough problem, and we can already merge regulations. Great showcase of these mods. I am currently using ERR and the Randomizer together. Both mods really keep the game fresh, if you've gone through a bunch of NG+ runs and want to shack things up. The Randomizer is a ton of fun. Once you learn how to configure the spawn rates, you can put together all sorts of enemy combinations. I am hoping for a mod that mainly focuses on giving more passive buffs to the armor in the game. That is the one thing IMO that is lacking with Elden Ring. If fashion souls is such a thing in this game, I wish the armors did more than just boost poise and defense for the player.
I really need to mess with randomizer I haven't really tried it yet. And I like passive buffs too, do you think Convergence will have them when it releases?
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 Hi. There are some really great options to use in the Randomizer. I never see streamers use them at all. It's always just people playing with the vanilla defaults. Technically Garden of Eyes is illegal since it's a payed mod with content from other souls games included in it. There's probably more to it but just a heads up.
I think it's great that modders are able to set up things like patreons and offer exclusive stuff, but I just don't trust nor support anyone who fully paywalls their mod for someone else's game. I don't really care about the illegal part, it's not like you're going to get in trouble for playing it. I think barring the law, it's still a bad thing that people shouldn't support or promote.
@@Urdooo 'if you want to play seamless coop with this mod just install mod loader and put the .ini files into the mod folder created by mod loader (need mod engine 2 v3)' - via their mod page
It being difficult, for the sake of being difficult is not what the game is about. Difficulty only due to lack of imagination, and being able to overcome it creatively is what makes this game amazingly rewarding.
Nah but Ascended is difficult to the point of ridiculousness. At least back a few months ago when I tried it out. I'd say it's not worth it, maybe only if you're a content creator, because watching someone suffer like that is entertaining. Some mid game bosses were one shotting me with 4k hp (which was with 99 vigor and all the hp buffs, and this was in the normal version of the mod, not the insane one)
@@Ecliptor. honestly I thought that too at first, but it really does offer you a lot of ways to min/max to your hearts desire. I agree that's not for everyone, and you're sort of required to min/max to actually be able to get through the mod, however if that's your thing then it really is a great mod. Other mods it feels like if you min/max too much the game becomes trivial. But ascended lets you run wild and actually put your calculated build through the ringer. I think people who say it's way too hard don't really have a good grasp on what's really possible in that mod, or they think it's unreasonable to ask the player to spend that much time perfecting a build or strategy for each boss. That's fair criticism on its own, but it's subjective and doesn't apply to everyone.
Great vid. I'm annoyed that you didn't even mention the Sword Mastery mod though. It is, imo, one of the best overhauls out there (but largely focused on combat changes) It COMPLETELY upgrades the combat system, to the point that I have a hard time playing without it now. - all weapons have completely reworked movesets (most are based off semi realistic HEMA standards, as the dev consults with several irl weapon experts) - two-handing gives weapons multiple different combos done by pressing R1s and R2's in different sequences (makes combat WAY more dynamic and interesting) - many weapons have MULTIPLE new movesets (switchable by consuming a new type of weapon grease) - there's an advanced deflect system with different animations and conditions for different weapon types - dodging is much faster - enemies are faster and more unpredictable, as the speed and delay of their attacks has been altered - only certain weapon types work on certain enemies (ie a katana won't do shit against an armored enemy, but will proc bleed much faster on an unarmored, fleshy enemy. Conversely, flails and hammers wreck house against knights and stone based enemies) - dragons are super OP, and truly terrifying to fight (but they are weak to certain weapons), which makes sense from a lore perspective. - bosses have reworked movesets and speed changes (very aggressive compared to vanilla) - some other stuff too Only real downsides: - it's tough. Kinda forces you to engage with the new systems or get wrecked. Very Sekiro-like in that way. - it's still a WIP, so certain weapons/mechanics are still a bit janky at times - the dev has not created detailed documentation/changelogs, so you kinda gotta join the Discord server and ask questions to figure out certain aspects of the mod. Really wishing this mod would get some love, cuz it's more ambitious than any ER mod I've seen yet, at least in terms of combat mechanics, and let's face it, combat is the core of FromSoft games, innit?
Yes! I love sword mastery and it's not in this video because this was for like major overarching overhaul mods (think convergence or Archthrones) as a video to let people know how these mods are coming along. Plus I already featured sword mastery in my Top Immersion Mods video 😊 Btw thanks for the detailed response, I do love those
I just tried that mod upon reading your comment and I don't see what's good about it, unless you hate the vanilla Elden Ring combat. It removed so many mechanisms and systems such as dual wielding; switching between one-handing and two-handing weapon; all the previous different attacks from the same weapon types are now all identical; all the ashes basically deal very little damage now and you are just expected to use the new combos exclusively. There is no level anymore (as leveling up doesn't cost anything), no weapon upgrade (only adds +1 damage per reinforcement), and no difference between light, medium and heavy weight because default weight is 1000. The list goes on and go... Now I'm not saying all those changes are terrible, but they are just so different from vanilla that it might as well be another game.
First off, amazing video I am glad to see other overhaul mods being recognized but I Would heavily not recommend GoE’s Now I shouldn’t really have to explain the common sense on the ethics of ripping assets and reselling it as if it were original is unethical and legally in the grey area but I will anyways and explain my problems with the whole project. While the semi unique items in GoE is note worthy, the 95% of ripped assets does not excuse the price tag for the access to the mod. I understand putting assets and readjusting the models to the code spaghetti skeletons takes time but the problem is really surface level, its just ripped assets. Now it wouldn’t be much of a problem if it were original designed content, in fact I would suggest locking it behind a pay wall if it was, however it simply isn’t. It’s also note worthy that a good portion of the pallet of weapons/items are severely unbalanced mostly taking out the difficulty entirely. (Which i find funny because in most of the update videos for the project he always swaps to the BoO, especially in the GoW asset rips) This isn’t even the first time this type of modpack gained unnecessary attention/support. To those who know the series HL, specifically HL2, a modpack/mod was created called Half Life Overcharged (or overcharge I cant really remember but its easy to find on the internet). Both these modpacks are extremely similar, 95% ripped content, severe unbalanced weapons/items and slew of design choices that are completely out of the games core style/theme/design. While it’s obvious GoE’s is trying to bring content from other souls games to ER, HL Overcharged did the same. And it was awful. The only difference between the two is if I remember correctly, HL Overcharge was free and rightfully so. If the whole pack is simply asset rips than you shouldn’t be making money off it, it’s copyright of which you dont own. Unfortunately the GoE’s team (if it even is a team) doesn’t understand that concept. So I wouldn’t suggest it even in the slightest, not only would you be helping someone profit off assets they dont own but also be receiving a very unbalanced, mind boggling spaghetti of game design mess that you couldn’t even consider calling it elden ring when installed, but more of “if a child designed elden ring” kind of experience. The other overhaul mods are very promising and I do look forward to their development in the coming future. Great video too 👍
I can see that you are thinking pretty reasonably and level headed. What do you think about Reborn and use of Patreon? I'm using Patreon to support myself while I go the extra mile to make a quality overhaul. a large majority of the work is done by hand and I spend about 15-40 hours a week modding. I also have a full time job. So modding is extremely taxing. My patrons get early access when I finish a new update, and when I finish the next one (usually a two week window) it goes to nexus mods completely for free. It's also very worth noting that a majority of Patreon gains goes right back into the mod in the form of commission to other modders to help with the project.
Thank you for the praise, I really appreciate it :) but I have been seeing a lot of hate towards GoE lately and not just on my content. To be honest he came to me and gave me access to the mod so that I could make content on it, he often does this for small UA-camrs to help them and so he can get more attention towards his stuff. Other than that I'm not sure of the fine details of his money flow. I know a lot of people dislike paying for mods but I'm sure a lot of modders out there would like more than just recognition for all the work they put in. Which is why I said it's up to viewers to have their choice because, like everything, there are goods and bads. I guess if I feel something is worth it I'll buy it otherwise I'll forget about it.
Elden Ring Reborn, I think that is a perfectly fine way of doing things. Allowing people who have the opportunity to support to do so, but those who don't can still enjoy your product. Which gets back to my other comment here about how it's surprising that modders do work so much and for free, mostly. So thank you for that
@@eldenringreborn6310 I have no issue with the use of patreon especially when mod creators go above and beyond to make quality mods, in fact I heavily support the idea. The only time problems arise is if most or way over half the mod is just ripped assets. Balance decisions of course should be taken note of but if explained on the mod page shouldn’t be much of an issue and at least give information on what type of mod it is whether its balanced or particularly imbalanced for the theme its going for, an example would be ER ascended which purposefully makes the game unfair. But knowing that you are putting the money back into the mod, which I am sure heavily increases its quality. I am very certain the mod will be amazing and I look forward to playing the experience you have prepared for the community ❤️
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 I can guarantee most of the hate comes from reasonable critics who do research while some jump on the bandwagon which I disavow personally but I totally agree with the notion that mod creators who go above and beyond to make overhauls, rebalances, changes as well as additions to a game should get more than just praise. Mostly because modding takes way more time with certain mods such as weapon packs, large rebalances and terrain adjustment. One could say it simply just becomes game development at that point. The problem begins when most of the additions are just asset rips/flips (Taking 1 asset and putting it in the game that’s being modded) it comes off as extremely lazy especially when said rips/flips are not even polished. I also have hope in the ER community to of course know what they’re doing with their money and can decide accordingly lol. Again overall amazing content, worth subbing to much love and I wish you the best ❤️ (I forgot to mention his supposed ER modding discord drama but I havent looked into it myself enough to really say much about it but it should be looked into if you’re interested, its supposed taking credit when he didn’t do it etc etc)
I hope this doesn’t become like the jump force modding community. Really need to stay away from Patreon gating mods. In jump force. Most mods are literal pallet swaps hidden behind $10 fees. The process of even modding the game is a closely guarded secret or something so that people can continue scamming😊
Garden of Eyes is really the only one you gotta worry about. The mod author has repeatedly deleted comments bringing proof about his reselling of other’s work/stuff already ripped from other games. Dude’s a sham and a charlatan.
@@thechoseone456 Very glad i found these threads about GoE. At the very least, i can really think twice about re-buying the game on PC just to try getting that mod installed. Not that i would re-buy it in the first place. A shame really, the mod looks very pretty, looking from the sidelines.
I’ve been playing Reforged for probably about 40 hours now. My biggest issue with it BY FAR is the new weapon affinities are completely worthless. The scaling sucks for all the new ones. They also changed all of the enemy hitboxes. This can be a pro or a con depending. I have 350 hours in ER before installing Reforged, so some of the changes messed with my muscle memory. They did drastically increase difficulty in some areas that don’t really make sense. Dragonkin Soldier of Nokron had massive buffs for some reason. The Grafted Scion you can fight when returning to Chapel of Anticipation was made extremely powerful for some stupid reason. You definitely can’t fight it at the normal level for Liurnia. I don’t understand these changes. That said, it has 4 enormously positive areas. 1. They made certain weapons scale with INT/FTH, like the Golden Order Greatsword and weapons that use deathflame. A lot of their scaling changes are great but this stood out to me. Finally INT/FTH is viable. 2. Fortunes are really cool. They only listed common ones in the documentation but there are some hidden ones in game. Fortune of Latenna is really strong for bows. Fortune of Crucible gives you buffs to Crucible incantations, and adds new effects to them as well. 3. Deflect, deflect, deflect, deflect, deflect, I LOVE deflect! 4. They have a new system for NG+ where you’re given access to any 5 items in the entire game, including spells and talismans. Each cycle gives you 5 new items. If you start a new save, you can also go right to NG+ immediately and you’ll get 10 free items as well as runes to set your level. However, this has a glaring issue. 4 armor + 4 talismans + a weapon + a catalyst is 10 items. If you’re a magic user, youre out of luck for spells. Personally I just cheat them in. Finally, I’ll note that Reforged fixed a few exploits. Greyell is no longer susceptible to bleed. The Dectus medallions are actually drops from elite enemies in their respective locations now.
The Grafted Scion was buffed because he now guards access to a Starlight Token, which can grant any item in the game. The Nokron dragonkin was buffed as it was hidden a little, and is now more of a "superboss" rewarding a cool spell, so his scaling was bumped up to Nokron level since that's where he drops from.
I would also add that parrying was deeply effected by the hitbox changes, for the worse. Many situations where a parry should happen will fail due to the adjusted hitbox, almost making it worthless as a strategy. Given parrying is my favorite way to approach Souls games, this made the mod a very hard sell for me personally.
@@Grevane16 I agree, which is such a double edged sword, because I love to use the Paladin Fortune they offer, but the timing is so different now with those changes. There is such a heavy hand for deflects now vs parrying.I just got the Crucible Fortune and jfc that fight took me nearly 40 attempts, and the Fortune, as fun as it would seem to be on description, is actually quite underwhelming. For a fight that was very challenging, that boss was a pure meatshield, the reward of it's crucible didn't feel justified.
I'd love to see an Elden Ring mod with more humanoid enemy NPCs, like bandit camps with 3 to 4 player-like enemies that behave like red invaders but just respawn like regular mobs. That and if moding for this game grows to add more quests, voiced NPCs and things to find/places to explore, I'm all for it. Essentially an "Elden Scrolls" lol
@@omerozel4716 true. I've never been a fan of spellcaster playthroughs in any of the souls games, but convergence actually made spellcasters really fun. And there's so much diversity that even if you switch your build 3 or 4 times you still won't have even tried all the spells in the game. Whether you want to run int/faith/arc or any combination of two, they're all not only viable but also all feel very strong. The only issue is if you still want to play str or dex you can, and there's still a bunch of new AoW's and armor effects, however you are limiting yourself a bit in regards to the mod. Plus it seems it was definitely balanced with all the new spellcasting mechanics in mind so you can put yourself at a disadvantage at times.
It's not even that creative too, he just remakes Dark Souls and Bloodborne bosses. Like he remade the Godskin duo, but made them Ornstein and Smough. The mod SUCKS
I really wanted to try GoE, but the paywall really pushed me off. not because of the value, but because they have a mandatory charge for something I already bought and this makes no sense
Aw shucks, thanks that means a lot and I'm glad you liked it. I would definitely always do first playthrough vanilla, then mods can add to the experience
15:00 - Con: You can't get over poison/rot areas with Torrent because the horse gets damaged by them in that mod, and can get poisoned/rot. Which makes navigating some areas a hassle. Also you forgot Convergence.
Wish I could mix reborn and reforged. Love one’s new spells and world changes and the othe’s combat changes. I’m really looking for an overhaul that adds new spells, weapons, armors, animations and enemies without letting your character or the enemy overpowered. Seems like it’s yet to come.
Same. I really thought Garden of Eyes was gonna be cool, but most of it is over the top flashy, janky, and overpowered BS that they've locked behind a paywall. I really want something "vanilla" flavored that adds in a bunch of stuff that feels like it could actually be in the game, with similar balancing implementes as well.
@@NightmareBlade10 exactly!!! Like I love the mods that makes you move like Malenia or the Black Knife assassins but I just wish it was balanced for the player like less coverage and s when dodging or speed when running. The character would look badass without being overpowered and bosses would still be challenging.
@@Syyyke what I wish for is exactly what I said and it would be more than enough. I love modding games (been modding skyrim for 4 years) and what I described here is exactly how I mod it so it would make me pretty much satisfied if I could achieve what I said with elden ring, the game is yet very new so I believe the modders will get there, just gotta wait.
Elden Ring Dark Moon takes the cake for me the best overhaul imo. GOE OP, Reforged LAG, Ascended not gonna touch. Reborn gonna try that soon and Vigil.
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 Dark Moon has the Reforged changed mechanics and adds the life recovery system when they hit you and you get your health back by counterattacking.
Reforged question. Do you still have to kill the endgame bosses to get their weapons like Malenia/Radagon for example, or is there a new shop or crafting system that allows you to get the later game weapons sooner? Thank you!
There is an item shop where you can trade in "Starlight Tokens" for any item in the game. Go back to the church where you start the game (past the Grafted Scion) and there's a free token to trade in at the altar in that church. You get tokens primarily for hitting 25% milestones for the Pokedex, and for going NG+
hey, so quick thing with the garden of eyes mod from what i understand, a lot of the assets are either stolen from other mods, or from other creators that he diddn't pay and you say the mod isn't that buggy, but it absolutely is
Yeh I've been hearing a lot about stolen assets from comments, which has me concerned. But as for bugs I truly haven't experienced anything weird it's been really smooth for me as a mod other than the launcher
I think reforged's biggest issue is that the modder is quite stubborn when it comes to making changes. I hope they will listen to the community more in later updates.
I'm thinking of playing Elden ring for the first time with the "Seamless co-op" mod with a friend. I know I won't be playing the game twice. What mods do you guys recommend we tack on for my playthrough?
Reforged is really solid since it has custom co op difficulties to make the game harder. There’s some weird changes in it but most of them you can revert back pretty easily in dsmapstudio. But honestly I’d just play with the seamless co op and that’s it then do other mods later on. But that’s just me
Darkmoon and Vigil are pretty solid overhauls. First Person Souls adds a really unique perspective that would be awesome with seamless. Syyykes magic overhaul and Build-enabling overhaul add some awesome magic to the game and I believe both are compatible with seamless
Thank you for this review, very helpful. In my opinion only Ascended mod is really a choice if you want lot fo changes. Yes it's unfair but all boss fights / world changes really gives new feelings, while other mods are just new weapons. Reforged looks very good, mechanics they added are nice, thanks them for it. If this mod will focus on world changes, new enemies and new/updated bosses - then it'll beat any competitors to me
You're very welcome I'm glad it helped and I am glad you enjoyed it. Since this video reforged has gotten a few updates and one huge one that I know of. It is definitely worth checking out. Also if you aren't aware the Convergence is currently in development for Elden Ring and I hope to see some news on that soon
Elden ring is awesome but I really wanna try out new spells, staves and some magic stuff so idk Reborn or Reforged? Can you help me with that decision?
Reborn has more new spells than Reforged (as of this video) but if you are interested in a total magic overhaul check out Syyykes magic overhaul and Castles Fantasy Spells they both make some pretty awesome changes and I have videos on both of them if you haven't seen them :)
Reborn is a magic centered overhaul as it was the first thing developed. Every single spell in the game is overhauled, some are very in depth changes, most are mid-large changes and some others are very minor
Here are my points I'd like to add, for anyone who cares 1) I've tried Garden of Eyes, and it's buggy. I just have to say it, but it's pretty darn buggy. 2) I tried Reforged...has fantastic QoL changes, but also has some changes I REALLY don't like. One, they cap your max level at 200 (340 in NG+) and you can't go higher than that. Two, the world scaling and difficulty is just....bad.. You never ever feel like you're gettintg stronger. As you level up, enemies seem to get stronger as well, they can stil mess you up even in the first area of the game. Like, you just don't feel the power fantasty of leveling up. There are different difficulties you can set to make it easier or harder, but this defeats the whoel purpose of ER being a pre-custom scaled difficulty from the get-go. Making it easier, doesn't really make it easier either. Scaling is just constant and doesn't feel good. 3) I'm currently trying Reborn, and yes it has some bugs. But it's stilll receiving lots of updates, lots of love, and it's the one I'm enjoying the most from the list. It changes a good amount around the world, but not taking away from the vanila story progression. It has lots of new additions, like new animations for weapons. Katanas feel awesome now for example. It has a deflect system as well. It adds and changes spells, and effects on several items in really cool ways. It adds new designs to locations, new bosses, redesigned boss fights, etc. Instead of making the game harder or "balanced", it just makes it unique and fun. And that's exactly what I wanted in a new overhaul, so I'm enjoying my time thoroughly. It's still considered in Beta by the devs, and is about 70% complete, but it still feels and plays really well. I'm having way more fun on Reborn than I was on Reforged simply beacuse I feel like I'm actually getting stronger, meaning it keeps the vanilla game's scaling system, which was never bad to begin with, but it now scales different environments differently and makes some bosses harder by giving them more HP, especially ones that were weaker in vanilla.
Thanks for the detailed reply! I just recently did a video on Reborn with all the updates (this video was awhile ago) and they have done an insane amount of work

You'd likely run into a lot of problems as these mods change so much. But if you were able and patient enough you could probably pull it off at the expense of trading of major changes with each one
#1 - convergence, #2 - reforged. honourable mentions - all the other mods on nexus. dishonourable mention - garden of eyes (fuck that paywall + creatively bankrupt)
Lol, what? How can they get away with GoE being behind a paywall? From Software literally went after Team TAL for this, who ported souls armor to Skyrim and put it on their Patreon. All GoE does is port this content to a new game. To put it behind a patreon is a scummy practice.
Maybe, it might be hard and tedious but it's likely doable as most overhauls don't mess with weapon stuff a lot. You'd have to consult cleverraptors regulation bin merging guide on Nexus mods, that would be the best place to start
Honestly, I don't like Reforged because they nerfed Magic and Incantations out of existence, like wtf FP Regen does not justify making Incantations and Spells Deal almost no damage

That Ascended mode just doesn’t seem fun. I feel like the game is funniest when you’re actually able to stay in the fight and get attacks off. Doesn’t seem that mode promotes that at all lol
You can use almost any mod through modengine2 so download that first, install it somewhere easy to get to and then download your desired mod and put the contents into the 'mod' folder that will come with modengine2. You will also see a launcheldenring file, that launches the game, installing any mods you put in the mod folder. Run steam in offline mode before you do this every time to avoid bans

I have a feeling it will, previous souls games had quite a dedicated modding community and Elden Ring is the biggest title yet with so many more players
it definitely will. same kind of hype, same mods starting out. only a matter of time before we’re getting full sized DLC

- all weapons have completely reworked movesets (most are based off semi realistic HEMA standards, as the dev consults with several irl weapon experts)
- two-handing gives weapons multiple different combos done by pressing R1s and R2's in different sequences (makes combat WAY more dynamic and interesting)
- many weapons have MULTIPLE new movesets (switchable by consuming a new type of weapon grease)
- there's an advanced deflect system with different animations and conditions for different weapon types
- dodging is much faster
- enemies are faster and more unpredictable, as the speed and delay of their attacks has been altered
- only certain weapon types work on certain enemies (ie a katana won't do shit against an armored enemy, but will proc bleed much faster on an unarmored, fleshy enemy. Conversely, flails and hammers wreck house against knights and stone based enemies)
- dragons are super OP, and truly terrifying to fight (but they are weak to certain weapons), which makes sense from a lore perspective.
- bosses have reworked movesets and speed changes (very aggressive compared to vanilla)
- some other stuff too
Only real downsides:
- it's tough. Kinda forces you to engage with the new systems or get wrecked. Very Sekiro-like in that way.
- it's still a WIP, so certain weapons/mechanics are still a bit janky at times
- the dev has not created detailed documentation/changelogs, so you kinda gotta join the Discord server and ask questions to figure out certain aspects of the mod.
Plus I already featured sword mastery in my Top Immersion Mods video 😊
Btw thanks for the detailed response, I do love those
@My Name is Ryan It should be compatible, most mods are pretty easy going with seamless. But you can check on the pages for each they should say
@Snuggly the Crow FYI you didn't feature sword mastery in your immersion video, that was swordmanship
@Glockenspiel My bad! I try out so many mods I kinda lose track of which ones I've covered lol
First off, amazing video I am glad to see other overhaul mods being recognized but I
Would heavily not recommend GoE’s
Now I shouldn’t really have to explain the common sense on the ethics of ripping assets and reselling it as if it were original is unethical and legally in the grey area but I will anyways and explain my problems with the whole project.
(Which i find funny because in most of the update videos for the project he always swaps to the BoO, especially in the GoW asset rips)
This isn’t even the first time this type of modpack gained unnecessary attention/support.
Again overall amazing content, worth subbing to much love and I wish you the best ❤️
(I forgot to mention his supposed ER modding discord drama but I havent looked into it myself enough to really say much about it but it should be looked into if you’re interested, its supposed taking credit when he didn’t do it etc etc)
I hope this doesn’t become like the jump force modding community. Really need to stay away from Patreon gating mods. In jump force. Most mods are literal pallet swaps hidden behind $10 fees. The process of even modding the game is a closely guarded secret or something so that people can continue scamming😊
Don't use their mods then or better yet learn to do it yourself.
Wat?

@@thechoseone456 Very glad i found these threads about GoE. At the very least, i can really think twice about re-buying the game on PC just to try getting that mod installed. Not that i would re-buy it in the first place. A shame really, the mod looks very pretty, looking from the sidelines.
Reforged is great, just want more from it. In due time.
Very happy to see ERR 1st place☺️
They made a wonderful mod with a lot of good attributes and an incredible changelog to boot
Man, thanks for adding this super detailed comment! I know I couldn't include all the details in the video and you really hit a lot of them.
Maybe that was an oversight they will address in future updates
@@Grevane16 I agree, which is such a double edged sword, because I love to use the Paladin Fortune they offer, but the timing is so different now with those changes. There is such a heavy hand for deflects now vs parrying.I just got the Crucible Fortune and jfc that fight took me nearly 40 attempts, and the Fortune, as fun as it would seem to be on description, is actually quite underwhelming. For a fight that was very challenging, that boss was a pure meatshield, the reward of it's crucible didn't feel justified.
I can't wait for 3 years from now when the Total Conversion Mods start rolling out for Elden Ring. Skyrim's TCM's were freaking amazing.
Elden ring convergence is in the works!
Hard to compare to Skyrim, Elden Ring isn't nearly as mod-able - still. But hey, I am sure there will still be great stuff.
The guy who made Cinders made an Elden Ring mod, it's not as big, but it's decent. It's called "Great Rune". Just look up "Great Rune Mod"
Garden of eyes is really low quality considering you have to buy it, any other “overhaul” is just better by default of being free
I have always wanted this too, especially with how good the humanoid ai is. Convergence for ds3 was really nice because it added more npc invasions
Commenting in support
Garden of eyes is an illegally pay-walled mod
Convergence deserved that spot in this vid.

Reforged question. Do you still have to kill the endgame bosses to get their weapons like Malenia/Radagon for example, or is there a new shop or crafting system that allows you to get the later game weapons sooner?
Thank you!
yes, in terms of progression and obtaining equipment etc, it's largely unchanged from vanilla.
There is an item shop where you can trade in "Starlight Tokens" for any item in the game.
Go back to the church where you start the game (past the Grafted Scion) and there's a free token to trade in at the altar in that church.

Me waiting for the Cinders and Convergence modders to release their stuff for Elden Ring...
Cinders modder has released Vigil, it already looks very promising :)
I got really excited at the convergence ER announcement
hey, so quick thing with the garden of eyes mod
from what i understand, a lot of the assets are either stolen from other mods, or from other creators that he diddn't pay
and you say the mod isn't that buggy, but it absolutely is
Yeh I've been hearing a lot about stolen assets from comments, which has me concerned. But as for bugs I truly haven't experienced anything weird it's been really smooth for me as a mod other than the launcher
I've been trying out an overhaul called Vigil, and it's pretty fun for a second playthrough.
I've seen good things about it, will definitely be included in the updated version of this video
Can't wait till we get Elden Ring Convergence and/or Cinders. Gonna be amazing

rick the soldier of god strikes again lmao
Lmao yeh, yeh he did
Reforged looks and sounds really nice.
It really is an amazing mod. I can't wait to see what the future holds for that talented team
I think reforged's biggest issue is that the modder is quite stubborn when it comes to making changes. I hope they will listen to the community more in later updates.
Maybe its not so good to make so many changes as it can break the game's balance
Such a good video, straight to the point and lists pros and cons! Keep it up!!!
Thanks! I really appreciate it, that means a lot. Glad you liked it
People mod the shit out of Dark Souls III... Imagine what we could get in Elden Ring
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 thx man u got new sub
Hey thanks! That means a lot 🖤
Reborn is a magic centered overhaul as it was the first thing developed. Every single spell in the game is overhauled, some are very in depth changes, most are mid-large changes and some others are very minor
Can i mix the map of reborn and all the other changes from reforged? :)
If yes, how do i do this?
You could technically do it with dsmapstudio or yapped (I think) but it would be a nightmare merging everything and getting it without conflicts
Here are my points I'd like to add, for anyone who cares
1) I've tried Garden of Eyes, and it's buggy.

Reforged and the convergence mod i sometimes wish i had a pc instead of a Playstation its annoying to me they wont let us create content when they've yet to make anything at a certain point if they are selling things like reforged i dont understand why the creators cant buy it and sell it or something we want this content let us have it even if it means we have to buy it
Holy I love gaming community dang ig i'll test em all
Try out Elden ring dark Moon too, reforged also got a huge update recently
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 arigatoooo
GoE looks cool but i don't think ill ever download a paid mod
I've been hearing rumors it will be free on completion but I can't say if it's true
Ascended? More like descended as they descend me into my grave.
me too, me too
guys can i install mods on cracked version if so do u know how
That Ascended mode just doesn’t seem fun. I feel like the game is funniest when you’re actually able to stay in the fight and get attacks off. Doesn’t seem that mode promotes that at all lol
Yeh it is insanely difficult, it wasn't fun for me but maybe there are those who want that ridiculous challenge that would find it fun
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 Maybe, can’t say I can see how but, I suppose it’s just not for me 🤷🏿♂️
Ascended, typically the type of mod that just isn't fun at all. There's a difference between hard and challenging, and straight up unfair.
Convergence Mod is the best mod period
reforged balanced ? only on the good difficulty and yeah great great mod
I haven't played reforged in awhile, from some of the comments people have said it's really gone downhill
great video, thank u !
You're welcome, I'm glad you like it :)
Can someone make a diablo 2 mod for elden ring? I think that would be cool.
Can you do the mod for me if I send you my ps account password? I’ll pay for it if there’s a charge as well
💀💀💀
@@FROEZOEN I had someone do this for me already
I'll stay with regular Elden Ring
Elden Ring is the new Skyrim
One day
Lmao, I reserved this for like world overhaul mods. Don't worry man yours will be featured in the top magic mods which I'm getting planned now
@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 oh shit, I need to work on that.
Lmao, it's always good to hear from you
How do i even mod this game can anyone help
You can use almost any mod through modengine2 so download that first, install it somewhere easy to get to and then download your desired mod and put the contents into the 'mod' folder that will come with modengine2. You will also see a launcheldenring file, that launches the game, installing any mods you put in the mod folder. Run steam in offline mode before you do this every time to avoid bans
Too bad garden of eyes has that patreon shit that forces you to pay for it. It looked interesting.
I wish I could use these on console lol
Maybe one day
lol paying a mod for updates every month, like i already paid the game and now do i need a subscription for a mod? who's the clown doing that?
fp regen is easy with yapped
Patreon is always a negative, no matter what
Paywall mods, always BAD.
Masterassist18 just got mine done I’m sure he can help
Dark moon and shattered are sadly off this list, tho the much overrated, poorly designed, and disappointing garden of eyes is.
I was unaware of dark moons existence at the time and shattered wasn't updated
MEH
Do not use reborn, that crap isn't worth it
the creator ruined the magic and is not usable (too much fp per magic )if you like magic do not use
skill issue. weren't you the same guy on nexus who also posted garbage like this?
Garbage take.
It definitely is lolol
Love the Ascended mod. Should put "Pro" players in their place🤣🤣
bruhhhhhhh just get a mic. it's 2023
