I love ERR with all of my heart, BUT they didn't have to do my boi Torrent like that.
Besides that, ERR is my number 1 choice. Other mods seem too over-tuned for me.
Also, I would love to recommend you a mod called "Elden Ring Tarnished Edition" by nacorcb/Belger. (it comes with a combat-only changes called "Improved Melee Combat Overhaul" (IMCO))
The mod works really close to ERR when it comes to gameplay, without over-tuning a lot of things.
You definitely should give it a shot!

Hey bro! In a few days i will make a showcase of Tarnished edition, and as you said ERR is the favorite of many people, and with good reason, the mod is very complete, and of all of them is the biggest and most polished one.
Is quite impressive how mods of the same type offers different experiencies for all tastes.

@@EliteCarlosN Yeah, ERR is near perfect for a lot of people because it's feels complete without having a lot of overtuned things.
I'm not saying that overtuned mods are bad, but they're not for everyone.
About Tarnished Edition, it's not completed yet, but it's definitely on a very good path.
Thank you very much for your mention! ERTE is still in a very early stage, the amount of time it takes to overhaul the whole game is insane, but Im committed with this task. Reforged is a monster, a truly modding masterclass. ERTE is more subtle and less complex, modding wise, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless because of some unique ideas it has. Greetings!
Does anyone know if overhauls can be combined? For instance, could the Unofficial Expansion work inside of Reforged? Reforged is such a good overhaul, and those new classes and weapons would be such a cool addition to it. Just curious.
Most likely not, someone would have to come up with a compatibility patch. Mods most likely change something similar, that would break the game a bit if not straight up crash it.

I liked Build Enabling Overhaul because it felt juust about right to not go overboard while making fun and interesting changes.
Glad you like Reborn! Changing the world is what I'm honing in on, especially now that I've done plenty of work in other areas.
I have some really fun ideas for what to do with world changes in the near future. Keep an eye out. :)

Having tried several overhaul mods, what I didn't like were changes to player speed, dodge rolls, etc. Because the game was designed with existing roll range/amount of i-frames. For example Dark Moon adds absurdly fast backstep that feels faster than pre-nerf bloodhound step. But Malenia's Waterfowl Dance (for example) is untouched, so dodging it becomes super trivial. Same thing with deflects or heal back hp on hit. You can't just add new mechanics like that, you'd have to rebalance ALL enemies out there to account for increased player mobility and defenses.
you dont need to over balance stuff,mods arent made to be perfectly balanced if u find something a little bit more powerful and you are having fun with it then way to go its not all bad
i disagree, if you're not open to those changes then mods arent for you cause mods are made to change the game. Some are harder and some are easier, like ascended for example: Should we criticite the mod devs for changing the mechanic and making the game so hard? No, its a welcome change. Makes the game different so people can have different experiences
game balancing is the opposite of realism... some weapons are just more powerful in real life.
I think Reforged does the best job at this, they have selectable difficulty levels as well as special game "modes" that are balanced around a certain playstyle (for example, Reforged's "Shura" mode halves your i-frames and increases enemy aggression, as it's designed to disincentize dodging, and push you to utilize the new perfect deflect mechanic.
But I agree in general that a lot of overhauls are not well balanced. I'd recommend giving Reforged a shot though, if you haven't recently.
That’s the point of the mod…just stick to the regular game

i think are little aspect that can't be cleaned up so easily by modders

I like to think that is possible but no one has done it yet :c
I manage to merge both of the files by having carian warriors combo mod files replacing the some of dark moon file but the moveset are incomplete at the end.
Can these mods be combined all together with convergence mod?

Try unalloyed with rot and without cleverpack and grab the files in chr from era this at least for me is the perfect combination

I've tried convergence and I''m currently playing through Reforged. Might drop Reforged to play Reborn to get a fresh experience.
Convergence and Reforged have an overwhelming number of endorecements compared to Dark Moon and Reborn.... I wonder why that is. If I hadn't seen this vid I wouldn't even consider giving those try.
That being said I really don't see how Dark Moon beats Reborn's as you said fresh exp.

probably because they change the way you play the game most allthough i must say that reforged feels close to vanilla it only has a couple new spells and weapons but its mostly a rebalance meanwhile convergence changes the entire game and how you progress through it, like you dont do the standard route from first 2 great rune bosses killed and then you go capital and then after morgott you do mountaintops and after that malekith, but nope with convergence you can basically go straight to malekith by going straight to black blade kindred that is now relocated to a proper arena below/behind the bestial sanctum and after killing him you can go to farum azula like the forge doesnt bring you there anymore like before you can go to the forge you have to kill 5 remembrace bosses the gate infront of the forge will say who you can or have to kill to finnish the game and the ammount of new spells that make magic actually allot of fun to use and make full magic or incant builds viable for late game, allot of the new spells are totally busted though also the convergence mod makes from what was in my opinion and probably more peoples the worst area of the game the lake of rot into one of the best areas of the game except for those kindred of rot mother fuckers those pest thread spamming assholes with their wriggly worm movements are so annoying to fight

garden of eyes is a paid mod, i truly like it, but people get sensitive so easy, i decided to not include in the video just for that reason, and the convergence mod was not released yet when i made this video

I wish Elden Ring would’ve had dashes instead of rolls to begin with. It feels so much better.
oh yeah like with the dashes you can basically dodge around the boss and stand behind him you get way better openings for attacks like fuck rolling side stepping is way better and more realistic like especially with the more aggressive enemies that souls games have since bloodborne i remember ds3 being way harder than 1 and 2 because of how much more aggressive bosses were and ds3 you move abbout the same as in ds1 so the combat didn't feel fair in elden ring i basically only used bloodhound step for dodging because with bloodhound step i atleast could dodge attacks with the rolls i ended up rolling into attacks more than rolling through them

Boss resurrection is something those fuckers at FromSoft need to introduce. Souls bosses are the most iconic part of the game, why not let us rematch? If they're worried about us farming the boss for money, just reduce the amount for each replay. Its not a hard issue to solve at all
the vid pretty good but you forget the biggest and best elden ring overhaul the convergence that mod so far has changed pretty much all the legacy dungeons added extra remembrance bosses and removed some copy paste or just lame bosses replaced them with new and fresh bosses that use a mix and matched moveset from other bosses from elden ring and souls games before it, it has a boatload of new and unique weapons with fun movesets and a shit ton new spells like it makes it so every different magic type has a bunch of spells like now you get more than only 2 abarent sorceries and atleast have 10 spells in each type of magic school it also removes like half the glint stone sorceries that were just like glint stone shard but slightly better because why the fuck do we need 4 versions of glintstone shard, it also brings some completely new schools of magic such as icelighting/underworld sorceries and wind sorceries huge expension to the servents of rot incantations and huge overhaul to bloodflame incantations and godslayer incantations actually making most spells good/viable to use in the game where you had in vanilla a shit ton of crap spells that were not even worth using

The vídeo picks one of the new areas, which were still on a VERY premature stage by the time the video was made. Updates have been released and there is supposed to be a big one in the next few months, but bear in mind it's a single person handling everything, so it will take some time.
