- The O3 "VTX" antenna placement is not a problem due its top placement. I flew 4.2km away from home and i still had solid signal. The lowest I dropped was 17Mbps. The body of the quad and the tilt angle may hide the antennas a bit on the turning back home but that would have happened either way i think.
The only problem for me is the freezing fingers. I landed with over 3,6V on each flights, I could have been flew longer but then i need a longer ridge and warmer fingers in -20 degrees.

Damn i miss those days, when i could fly a drone somewhere years ago. Here, in Ukraine, we are not allowed to fly anymore because of the War. Well, technically you still can fly on a battlefield your FPV loaded with explosives but its not my story. So, guys… Enjoy and live your best life. Cheers.

very nice, i guess the benefit of being so north during winter is you dont need to wake up at the "ass crack of dawn" to capture some nice "morning" sun haha i like the idea of sunrise in the afternoon for something like this =P

@@babang_des i am pretty confident thats a setting related thing. my new iflight quads also did that before because zero throttle was set too high RPMs. i went to iflight and we changed that after some talking. now they drop at a normal rate we expect.
You are talking about the Ittle value we have done Lots of testing with Ellis and trust me the bigger pro when the quad is flat give you more gliding and the opposite when diving.

Nice flight. Last time i tried flying in cold temp (-10C) my camera was freezing and couldnt continue flying.
A good tip is to leave your drone on the trunk of your car but all the batteries inside on the floor of the passenger seat and the heat to them. Then when you plug your drone the drone will be in cold temperatures but not your battery then you have less chance of getting foggy camera.

I like how calm you story tell the whole thing. Next to that... Cool placement of cams to also get to the spot and visualize the traveling. The city life would never leave all those cams at ease.. Why don't you have electric warmed gloves for this? I mean I know there are some...

No I didn’t! It mentioned on my GoPro settings. It was too dark to used ND
@@babang_des Thx man ! I saw your settings with fixed ISO 800 and I thought you have a lot of experience with the GoPro settings. I used Hero 8 until now and just purchased a Hero 11. Hope to get better shots especially under low light conditions.

Really cool to watch! Are you flying under A model flying club/Norsk luftsportsforbunds "modellflyhandboken" or are you in a Luftfartstilsynsets spesific STS drone category, flanking out 10K NOK? And, the flightcontroller, is it full-manual, or do you got "some" auto-features like on the DJI Avata?

I would say as a BnF you get a really great drone for the price considering it 200 US dollars more than the Chimera 7.

there is NO way i would stand outside flying FPV in minus 20C°. you do know the car glass does absolutely nothing to your signal right? i always sit in my car. even on long range missions. if the signal drops you can still just get out the seat and stand beside the car. nice flight! epic landscape
It still bothers me, I would never fly so far sitting in a car. Besides, how do you imagine getting up and out driving a fpv?

@@PavelMy oh its easy. you grab the door handle and slide out the seat.🤣 did it couple of times before. if you worry you cant reach it by not letting go of the remote a second you can leave the door open a centimeter. still better than freezing outside. and dont tell me thats risky. flying a 1800$ quad plus new gopro with frozen hands unable to control it well seems be much higher risk. ☝🏻😉 i would also be worried the goggles fog up and i cant get back anymore. how you managed to fly with that mask without fogging up the glasses?
admire the effort to even finish the video outside after the flight instead of doing that inside the warm car with heater on. minus 20 really hurts after 15 min

you have to allow the goggle to see the osd. do you see osd on your goggles? what goggles are you using?

Nice flight man! At -20C is there no problem about batteries? I have Chimera 7 and sometimes drop a 8000mah fullsend
I usually have my batteries on the floor in the car and have the heater on them while driving to my spot. That helps
Put your batteries on your defroster and heat them up before your flight. Strap it up and put the drone on top of your car and stay inside the car and fly so your fingers don't freeze. We all fly from inside our cars when it's freezing cold. Just face the direction your flying and SEND IT.
I have tried to sit in the car but I’m not too comfortable with that.

I think you should try to warm up the battery before the fligth
They where actually on the flow warming up during the drive so they where pretty warm before flying.

It carries a LiPo instead of Li-ion, more efficient, faster, handle the wind better with its weight and bigger props.
