This guy with the little squid sport bike is acting like he did something. I see these guys all the time on their little 500cc or smaller bikes all tucked in like they are on a race track. It’s funny to watch them wind up those little bikes and act like they are hitting some break neck speed. All show no go!

Here’s why. Rpm’s way to low even for street riding and shifting quick. The real give away is disengaging the clutch while going through your turns. Someone who races even beginner knows this. There are habits you learn racing and you don’t have them.

When driving car, I try to pay attention to the traffic around me. I give room so MCs can pass. But I can't tell you how many times I've been surprised by a MC zooming by me going 40 mph faster than I am. I drive a Mustang GT, and normally go 15 to 20 over the limit. Sometimes, a LOT faster, depending on traffic and location. You can have fun and still drive more sensibly than you do. And BTW, riding on the shoulder is NOT lane splitting.
