Spent a long time on a 05. It had 90,000 miles when I Sold it.
Did a few years on 12 then sold it so I could buy my friends 14. Sold that after he passed away. Felt weird riding his old bike with out him around. He was my riding buddy and best friend. Been bikeless for a hand full and years and I’m ready to get back on one

I have to agree with Cycle Cruza . Duel purpose bikes are the best bang for your 💵 . They are more fun . I would rather keep it in the woods than the black top . But be able to use the roads as well . I think we learn as we aged . I was a speed freak as well . Now I would rather meet people who would rather ride in the woods camp and things of that nature . But cars don't give two craps about bikes these dayzzzzz .
I was on my gixxer going about 85mph, out of nowhere, a random guy on another gixxer doing wheelie on the left lane, going about 120mph on tshirt and shorts. 😂😅

I like all types of bikes but not gonna lie when I get the chance I’m rolling that throttle back especially on my Speed Triple but I even do it on my bobber the thrill is amazing. Usually though I’m cruising and just enjoying the ride.

What’s good cc, been watching you for years now and I can genuinely say you got me hooked all those years ago, got me hooked on the culture and all the small things I love about the hobby - already on my second bike keeping my eyes out for the third 👀 (supermoto)
Hey! Great to see I got you hooked on this awesome hobby. Definitely add a supermoto, it is the most fun you can have on a motorcycle on the street. I want to add some more bikes too but I have clear my garage out to make room.
In my opinion a naked 650 is a good all-rounder. Most all (except honda cb/cbr) are 2 or 3 cylinders and gives a nice amount of torque. Even cyclecruza's mt07 is more-or-less a bigger 650 class bike
I love my 600, perfect commuter! Smooth on the highway for cruising, very nimble and light! I love it! Great video! 👍🏽

My journey so far has been: katana, moped, Ryker 900, cbr500r, Sportster 883\cinverted to 1275, and now a FLTRU. The bagger is the only bike that I've ever had that doesn't make me want to pin it 100% of the time. It's a very nice hike and I love it. I still got my mini sumo for stunts lol. But the road glide is perfect for the type of riding I mainly do now. Commuting, and touring. Coming from sport bikes I love all bikes.
Riding a slow bike fast is the best time.

I ride a metric cruiser and imho the sport bike guys are pretty cool. They wave back every time and are generally respectful. The HD riders - not so much. When I don’t get a wave back, it’s almost always a HD squid on a bagger. When I see a rider acting arrogant, the same.
Im a harley rider, I ride with all types of bikes with civilians. It's about being in the wind. I appreciate all bike designs.
The only thing Harley riders can be called out on is the fact that a lot of them have super egos and won't wave back at you if you are riding on something different.
I ride a Buell Ulysses. I call it a sport adv bike with a reworked Harley engine. Most people see it and just call it a crotch rocket. Unless the bags are on it. I have a lot of dirt roads around that I like to cruise on. And rev it to scare deer.

Cyclecruza is absolutely correct. "Sportbikes" by their very design are meant for the race track, not public roads. Yet most sportbike riders ride on the streets like they are on a track and piss people off and endanger everybody else. If you saw somebody driving a Formula 1 race car on city streets what would you think? Sure, you could ride a sportbike according to vehicle code rules but most guys are hooligans and cannot resist showing off their "track skills". And they give all riders an undeserved reputation.
People do the same with sport cars. Just much more dangerous for other drivers
I think a lot of motorcycle riders are attracted to the sport because of the need for speed and or showing of their stunting skills. Well, after reading about all the riders who died speeding and or stunting, I think more riders decided to chill out and learn to ride like a normal person should. Sport bikes are very fast and most riders will never explore the outer limits. Sport bikes are also uncomfortable after about an hour in the saddle. Unless you live near a mountain pass or some very curvy back roads, you won't enjoy the low handle-bar, thin-cushioned Sportbike for long. I'm not saying you have to go out and buy a Harley Hog, Indian cruiser, BMW GS, or a Goldwing; however, these bikes do offer the rider more long range comfort. I don't see too many Sportbike riders in their 50s and 60s. No, they grew out of their fascination with the need for speed. Give me a comfortable saddle and a comfortable riding position so I can ride all day long. The worst feeling is at the end of a long day of riding, you get off the bike walking like you've been riding a horse. 😂😅 8:01

I went from a R6 to a S1000rr to a Panigale V4 and 99% of the time I just cruise. I get this supersport bikes because I love the look and sound of them. You don't need to speed to enjoy them.
@kclsevsw Some of us have no self control. I will use whatever horsepower the bike has. Now I ride a 600 bandit to keep the speed down (kinda). Too heavy but good for touring (kinda).

I've been riding an MT03 for a while now and I can't get enough of it. Especially with upgrades it has plenty of power and it's so nimble. The light bikes are definitely where it's at! Considering an MT07 at some point too. I wonder if it will get an update soon like the MT09 🤔 that would be sweet
I speed for survival, not to show-off. Too many distracted kerens and dented altimas out here trying to run me over.
Currently own a hayabusa and started on a ninja 400. Overall, prefer to ride a fast bike slow and have the power when needed rather than a slow bike fast and barely have passing power in the highway. I also feel safer on the highway on the busa. Tho, riding around town or through the city on the ninja 400 was more enjoyable. But if i could choose knly one id go with the mkre powerful bike.
I’m 54 and owned every kind of bike. Currently have an Indian scout a 450 kingquad and a tw200 for trail riding. Love them all and don’t care what anyone else thinks.

As a Harley rider, not ALL of us are brand snobs!!! While I love my 1200 Custom Sportster, I’m getting a naked bike this summer. I’m kinda leaning towards the Z400. I rode a few Kawasaki’s at the demo rides, and liked that one the best so far. I’m planning on test riding all the other manufacturers before making a decision though. I don’t NEED a super fast bike, because I know deep down I’m going to ride it like I stole it, and probably end up having an F’up day!!! 😂 The Z400 checks all the boxes that I’m looking for in a new bike, but we’ll see what the other manufacturers have that’s comparable.

Super bike or just what you ride, when you are out in the boonies around Ohio watch out for Bambi when there are trees or brush along the road. Bambi does not always use a crosswalk or look both ways. In the PNW impact with deer, elk, bears, or Sasquatch is a major cause of accidents. One saving grace if you live through the wreck with wildlife in Washington State is that they have a roadkill harvest rule. You can take Bambi home to cook for dinner.

I ride busa. And I'm light, loose and fast with it after 20 years. So no one ever gets annoyed with me. But I think it's the sound. Seeing Ss riders combined with 15k rpm volumes is what I think pisses people off. That and jealousy they don't have to balls to go out and do what we do. My busa is dead quiet compared to to an r1 or cbr with a an exhaust.
They just need more tracks around and the only thing you can have fun with high speeds on the streets is rc cars

One reason it was a smart idea to trade the zero s i had for year for Trk. Probably would have got self in trouble one way or other. It was a 2015 newer ones quicker i think. Still wasnt going 180, but got up to speed instantly. So of course you want to floor it all of the time.
The Yamaha Venture Transcontinental doesn't fit either of those. It's get out on the freeway, set the cruise control, and eat road miles.

Super interesting point about sport bikes only being fun for one thing, speed. Other bikes are fun for a lot of reasons but sport bikes are not as good at those things.

I feel like us motorcycle riders get hate in general mainly by the cagers. But the Harley riders get hate too in neighborhoods bein loud as hell and with music blasting
Very true but here in Ohio Harleys/cruisers seem to be more respected. Cops definitely respect them more. I will say, it seems like Harleys are the loudest bikes on the planet. My neighbor had one and it used to rattle my house it was so loud. lol I'm glad he got rid of that loud sucker. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of motorcycles with a great exhaust but some Harleys are over the top loud.

I looked ahead on the Weather forecast it will be raining on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Meow I'm sad cuz I can't go on riding on my motorsickle. I work 6 days a week and sometimes I'm oof on Saturday if I make my goal, and if so I like to make plans to ride to Orange Beach that's an hour trip just for the fun ride and to stop at the only Oyster Houst that makes Soft shell crab po boy. Meow if I'm not oof on Saturday it will be Sunday ride to church which I enjoy so much. I like the fun of the trip, just riding my motorsickle, And when I get to church I like to see the jealousy of every men there that can't ride all because their wives wont let them. I like motorsickles. That's why I'm sad right meow.

Pretty sure it's just that elitist attitude alot of Harley riders have and their 2 favourite catchphrases "Get a REAL bike" and "Loud pipes save lives" Funny enough that's usually from the old school Harley riders and they usually hate the hipster café racer cars, bikes and coffee crowd too that also ride Harleys. I have met a few nice Harley riders but that number fits on 2 hands. I think they hate sportbike riders for our pension for flying by them a ridiculous speeds on the expressway. Basically yeeting ourselves through traffic at lightspeed. Plus sportbikes look better than slow cruisers.
A lot of the Harley riders were sportbike riders at one time. However, once they get a Harley they seem to develop an elitist attitude. lol I love all the bikes but big heavy cruisers are my least favorite. I did love that Ducati XDiavel S I had but that bike was like a superbike wrapped in cruiser clothing. lol
Loud pipes definitely help save lives with all distracted drivers staring at their phones. It is more true today than ever was.
@@natureofnina37 Problem is those distracted drivers have no time to react when they hear your exhaust. Trust me I have a SC Project GP22 exhaust on my RSV4 Factory and it's obnoxiously loud and drivers still pull out in front of me every week.
@@CycleCruza I think riders get that Harley style and brand thing stuck in their head and instantly think their better than every other rider. I remember being mocked cuz my gf and I had gear on when we walked into a Harley dealership when getting her 1st bike. We straight up walked out after telling the head of sales that douche just lost you a new bike sale.

When they hear a loud bike behind their car they check mirrors or start to look around for the source of that glorious sound which makes it that much safer. With very loud bike a lot more people know you're there and it makes a big difference.

@steve00alt70 Most bikers I know seem to think its either you ride a sportbike or a cruiser. What about standards or sport tourers, the best of both worlds(?).

From what I remember one of his crew got killed speeding, Donnie Brasco. Another motovlogger from Austrailia RidingwithTom did a 'smack down' race against another motovlogger and one of them ended up crashing and died, Motofrogger. I don't think Tom has raced anyone since and sold his superbikes. Racing should be kept at the track, just too dangerous on the road.
