Something I haven't seen a lot of people mention is because ZZZ's roster is pretty small you get almost every A-Rank/4 Star character for free. The only one you don't get is Anton, but not only does he have a rate-up on Ellen's banner, he's also in the second monthly reset shop. So you could potentially have all the standard A-Rank Characters within the first month!

i hate fake 5 star selector like HSR u will only get the chance to select a 5 star standard when u no longer needed it and have like a full rosster of limited characters built
And what exactly is "fake" about it? While I do agree that it could be 250 or even 200 but hey, it isn't a bad thing to have a selecter, especially for a 5*. You might like some design and not get the character at the time you hit the 300. Or you can make a character you enjoy stronger.
Those 5 * standard in HSR are mostly garbage, old units, and they keep asking for 300 pulls for selector, who da hell is going to spend jades on that shit, no sense, as you said by the time you have a chance to pick a 5 *, you no longer need it

By the time i get her and the rate you get regular pulls i won't even remember anything about her. I can only imagine how useful she would have been in all the content i struggle in had i gotent her from the start.

Yes, meta changes and DPS character ussually don't hold for that long. But there are still people who don't play for the meta or they don't pull at all and they still find their way in the game. Edit: see reply below. If you are only using standard banner pulls then it will likely take you about 8 months to 1 year to fill up the 300 pulls necessary to get your selector. This is about how long it took in Honkai Star Rail. The pull count is a mix of premium currency and premium pulls and, arguably, you shouldn't be spending your premium currency on standard banner pulls.

The character I’m most excited for has to be miyabi. I like characters with the Japanese samurai or rogue aesthetic. She uses a katana and her play style looks fast and high adrenaline. Also want soldier 11 because of her skill oriented play style

They more than likely won’t change it because they aren’t that significant to pull and I doubt anyone would pick a bangboo over characters or even Weapons. They have dailies and I believe there are weeklies as well but I forgot to double check that.
I'm excited for soukaku, she's my jam, only thing is i don't like she's a support... i want my favorite characters to stay on field most of the time and usually you don't wanna do that with supports sadly 😔 i'll have to cope with that 😮💨
A-Plus job on the thumbnail because it had me sweating a bit 😭 but I'm too deep into the hype to care about f2p friendliness cause I've played FGO before 💀 my top 5-star characters I'm looking forward to pulling (eventually) are Nekomata and Ellen, but my top character overall is Soukaku so I'm eating good with the in-game event if I don't get her earlier 🙏
i am honestly excited for all the characters, i have been getting super into games with slightly more complicated battle mechanics and i am so excited to see real difference in playstyle
If u wanna reroll, it would take roughly 40 mins to get to summons but if u don’t get lucky and get the 5 star within 40 summons u gotta spent another hour and half to get the last 10 to get the 5 star so it could take 2 hours to reroll
The characters im most excited for are the characters from the idol faction that were shown in BiliBili. Their characters designs are so cute and I can’t wait to play them :D

You technically can't. Not in the hub areas anyway. You can hang out with him, but you can't walk around as him. You can only do so in the combat instances.
Since it's doing most things alright, All that's left that I want is for it to not follow genshin's model for the free farmable gacha currency, and it's looking good so far. I'm personally excited for Rina since apart from obvious reasons, I really like the funny spooky maid lol
Zhu Yuan, Billy, and Miyabi. Zhu Yuan seems hard to unlock, Miyabi was missing in CBT3. I'm not sure if the Story Mode will be sequential as future updates. So far, ZZZ is planning to collaborate with Street Fighter.
They should just give or mak the discount banner a 5 star selector instead 😔. Also will there be a skip button? I dont think i have heard anyone talked about that yet?

But Im worried about ZZZ using something similar to HSR LC system most limited 5* LC only worth for their character AND the team building to me the gang+elemental restrictions are too much, even if you get the character you want you most likely need 2 very specific characters to make it work.
@@sabotagge9155 But in many cases the limited LC isn't a must and can be replaced with other non limited LCs, and this game is not a static turn based game and more like a "skill based" one, we could take advantage in that and do nicely without too much investment $$$, like in Wuthering 4 * characters, 5 * non popular character doing great, this is just speculative, since Hoyo has greedy tactics.

Idk I haven’t really spent anything on HSR (maybe $20 at most) and I have all the units I wanted for the game. I think you just have to go in with the expectations that you can only get 1 of the 2 characters every patch and it should be easy to manage. Also once you get to ZZZ daily routine its takes up very little of your time a day
