Imagine when he finds out about the adaptive AI and how the enemies adapt to your play style. Using night stealth and headshots? Enemies will use flashlights and helmets. Go in unnoticed? Enemies install cameras. Go in guns blazing? Enemies will wear vests and eventually riot gear. And then the even cooler part is how you can send recruits out on missions to disrupt the delivery of, or stash helmets, gear, ect. So that you encounter them less often. This game is so underrated!
I wish more games had this adaptive difficulty shit, it's really awesome, a big part of why I love this game
Sad thing is, there are only 2 areas that actually use cameras. OKB0 and Nova Braga.

The number of ways u can deal with enemies in missions is crazy in this game. U could use ammo clips to knock people out. Blow up a watch tower with c4 and let the guard fall down and hit other guards.
My favourite is the water pistol, its really good for destroying generators, radios and stuff, also works like ammo clips for distracting, can stun guards that discover you for easy cqc, doesn't need a supressor, has infinite ammo and if you shoot a sleeping guard they think that they pissed themselves when they wake up
I did not know you can knock out enemies with ammo clips. I only used them to distract them!
Really cool but id prob miss most of the time.
But i really love the cqc. Many varieties such as just flipping and knocking people and stealing their guns.
Really wish i could find more suppressors since i always run out at least sooner or later.
You can also stick bombs on to enemies backs wait for them to walk near other enemies and then blow them up 😁 same for vehicles.
Cool all these sound awesome

the craziest part is that I remember hearing that this was an unfinished game. Hearing the concepts about how if it was fully developed, you would spend days out there in Afghanistan. Even moderating your food and water intake. I wish bigger companies wouldn't rush so many good games.
@@skinlord2902 To be fair this game was in development for 5 years and went wildly over budget. Fuck Konami and everything but Kojima definitely had a role in this game not getting finished, the man struggles to stay focused.

But I also remember the company treating him poorly, etc. He couldn't even attend the awards for this game because the company kicked him from going. One of the few open world games I love due to the sheer amount of tools it gives you to play around with in the sandbox.
I never understood why the game wants you to stealth but rewards you with dozens of weapons you’re punished for using
That's cuz you're playing as Punished "Venom" Snake! /s
Something something symbolism
That's because it's trying to teach you restraint. If you want to go in gins blazing you can do that but you're better off playing COD. However, if you want to play the game as intended you use stealth which is far more satisfying.
Thats the point
You can be stealthy without a suppressor.

one of the best things of the game is how well optimized it is....8years old and the graphics are fire even today...and can seamlessly run on low end pcs too! I played this game with integrated graphics (512mb vram)-amd-a6-7350b-radeon-r5-graphhics, 8gb ram, 2core.......gave me avg. 25 fps which was so smooth with no stuttering....HideoKojima nailed it!
The FOX engine was amazing! Too bad FucKonami killed Kojima Games and used the engine to do them fucking yearly football games and the cutscenes for the MGS3 pachinko machine. Shame on them indeed! Death Stranding on the evolution of that engine would have looked even better than it does with Decima!

It's so damn fun watching someone play this game who isn't familiar with the series and just having a blast whether or not the given plan of action goes tits up. I went into this game as a longtime fan of the MGS games but that didn't stop me from looking like the Austin Powers version of Boss out there. That feeling of being over-matched can be daunting at times until everything starts to click. But, what's great is that you can go in with this sneaky plan only to immediately be spotted and still have a great time adapting to that mishap by running around like a goddamn maniac dragon punching anyone who might find themselves in your way.
Metal Gear Solid V is a true masterpiece. The storyline, sound design, stealth, weapon customization, buddies, game mechanics and the amount of detail this game offers is just next level. after playing this game for 100s of hours I can definitely vouch for it and say that this game will keep you engaged for hours. the game mechanics and co-op with ddog, quiet the sniper, dwalker are really interesting. this game has some of the best weapons and stealth action. play on hardest difficulty to enjoy the absolute best experience. MGSVs tactical-as-fuck gameplay made me love stealth games. And I thought Tom Clancy games were pretty darn tactical!
Using all the mechanics to my advantage makes me FEEL like the powerhouse spec-ops Snake is supposed to be. My favorite part probably has to be how modular the controls are; makes everything feel smooth and make sense (i.e. the binoculars button also serves as the change viewpoint action when ADS-ing). Yeah I hope in some update (highly unlikely) or the remake of mgsv will massively improve the open world since this game having open world suits a lot compared to other mgs games and the story is good but skull face needs to be not goofy and quiet should be away from the story and have a more realistic and serious design overall in the remake they should make it a lot darker (I think mgsv is dark anyways but making it much darker would make mgsv a very unknown and disturbing game) also venoms character also does make the story more dark.
@@cantsuggestareasonablename9101 yeah, more open world would be great. Even just way-pointing a mission, hopping in a jeep, and putting on some i-droid tunes was so cathartic to me.

The game never got finished apparently, development took so long and in the end the publisher got impatient, and told the game creators, it had to be released as is.. it's still a great game but I suspect the ending might be a bit odd 😂
I think Kojima left Konami because of that. The art book for the game has concept art for what would of been the final part of the game, it's a shame it never got finished.
It's unfortunate but sadly a lot of games are released unfinished, that are still great. Like this, for example, alot of people like fallout new Vegas it was unfinished and rushed, halo 2 if I remember correctly was as well.

Personally I prefer to be stealthy and merciful, but if u want to play the game while killing people it can be difficult because of how harshly it punishes ‘evil’ actions.

Gotta love a good ol' long Jayvee video
One thing i like about MGSV is that it accepts many playstyles. I once flunked a good perfect stealthy mission by alerting everyone and just rushed through to my objective and ran the heck out of there. And still got a S rank.
Also, it's pretty cool how all play styles feel natural and fitting.
In games like sniper elite (the WW2 games with the Xray killcams) If you get spotted, there's no point in not reverting a checkpoint, because there's only one way to play the game, and not doing that and getting into gunfights feels wrong
Long range battles, ambushes, firefights, regular stealth, all feel
Normal in MGSV. The only thing that does feel wrong and isn't intended is sneaking around with the tranq pistol, which ironically is why this game went down bad for a lot of die hard metal gear fans, since tranq pistol sneaking was the typical play style in those older games
So it's best not to treat the game like a metal gear game
@@tankhead2645 ooh love me some sniper elite action
