Can I just say, I don't care this video is 5 years old, I always watch it when I play mgs5 again because this video makes me laugh so hard and it's informative.
A few other tricks I'd like to add. - A lot of the Adaptive AI functionality doesn't even bare its teeth until endgame as it takes that long to learn your habits. You may have a sense of false security about it. Here are some of the things to watch out for: 1. Enemies lay minefields at the point where a player shows a habit of walking near a base. Never take the same route twice. 2. Hold-ups are not guaranteed to be effective. If you see a hold-up target holding a knife, CQC or Tranq them fast or they will try and attack you even after "surrendering". 3. Enemies with Riot Armor will soon realise that they can fight back against Hold-ups from players wielding Non-Lethal weapons. 4. Don't bother Tranquilizing or Stunning enemies standing next to a Tank or Armored Vehicle, the Tank can wake them all up with a single honk of the horn. To counter this use alternate incapacitation methods such as Smoke or (low level) Stun Grenades, or simply keep them distracted while you take care of the vehicle. 5. Don't take "Danger Level: Low" at a landing area for granted. Snipers are not flagged as an enemy presence on the Drop Point interface and you can be spotted while still onboard Pequod. This is rare but can completely ruin a stealthy approach. 6. The more transport trucks you attack/hijack, the better armed and armored the driver and passenger will be. 7. If a player rarely or never gets detected by spotlights, the enemies using them will start scouring the dark simultaneously and act as a regular guard. 8. Repeating a mission will result in enemy dialogue about your exploits, making reference to how you play. (Rejoice that this one won't get you killed!) 9. If an enemy wielding a machine gun or sniper rifle spots a fulton balloon, it will almost certainly get shot down. 10. If players distract enemies regularly using Magazines, they will start radioing to base before investigating. This feature was actually present in Ground Zeroes. 11. Enemy patrol routes adapt to include frequent detection hotspots, bad news for chronic snipers. 12. At first, radio calls regarding cardboard boxes are treated as jokes, but soon they start to be taken seriously by HQ. 13. If in doubt, the enemy will simply experiment with new methods until one works. The reactive system becomes incredibly powerful after the 100 hour mark, it's just a shame it can't adapt faster. Still, it's keeping this plethora of post-game side ops entertaining. :) - [Africa] Shooting down a power line in the rain will electrocute any soldiers underneath it. If you drive into a power line pylon it will come down on your head and zap you out of your vehicle. - C4 is powerful enough that you can plant it on one side of a wall and kill someone on the other side of it as long as there's some form of window, door or hole nearby. - Upgraded Night Vision goggles can be repurposed as IR Goggles for improved vision in sandstorms, for differentiating between people and dummies, and for navigating through smoke, either from smoke grenades or fires in the world, and for spotting snipers. They aren't particularly useful in the mist that Skulls generate however. - Telling DD to Bark will ward off predatory animals temporarily. - The basic G44 Assault Rifle has a built-in scope that isn't mentioned in its description. Think G36. - Before disembarking Pequod, or using the Wormhole in a FOB Invasion, it's worth chambering a round into each weapon (reload with a full mag). That one round could be the difference between a frantic reload or an easy headshot. - Succesfully completing a Story Mission, FOB Invasion or FOB Defence as a member of the Combat Unit will improve their stats. However be warned that they can suffer perma-death if killed on an FOB. If you're going to risk it, wear the Battle Dress and Balaclava, and maybe even use a Riot Shield. Even then FOB Invasions of stronger bases can be incredibly risky with UAVs around every corner. - Diving at or wounding an enemy, impacting their helmet or armour, or squirting them in the face with the water pistol will momentarily confuse or incapacitate them, giving you a chance to close in and perform CQC. Even just shooting a nearby wall or object will work if you want their back turned and can't reach with a magazine. - Shooting a vehicle with a lethal weapon will usually make it stop (the exception is missions where the vehicle is under orders to reach its destination at any cost, such as the escorted General). This is useful for boarding the back of an npc truck or getting in close to C4 or fulton a tank. Alternatively you could lure wild animals into the road, for which they will stop. - C4 makes for a fantastic diversion, especially if you're carrying a wounded prisoner and there's a chopper overhead. - With Weapon Customisation unlocked (see a youtube video), to get an underbarrel launcher, simply research a grenade launcher that is dubbed "standalone". To get a masterkey (underbarrel shotgun), research the sawn-off double barrel shotgun with scope mount. I've not unlocked underbarrel pistols yet but presumably you need a pistol with a scope mount. - If you attach a fulton to a cargo container while on top of it, you can use it to either give you a boost up (handy on FOBs), or if you stay on board it will take you back to your ACC. This is the also only known way of quitting Mission 45. - Cardboard Boxes, Molotovs and Smoke Grenades are hindered by rain. - Machine Guns, Mortars and AA guns have no use on Mother Base. Those on FOBs are generated by your defence level setting. Treat them only as a valuable that is worth more than its fulton value. You can sell these assets under Resources on the iDroid. You'll probably have an extreme excess of medicinal plants too later on. - Pick your free FOB based on its supply of Fuel, as this is the rarest resource used to build platforms. - Performing defences of FOBs, yours or a supportee's - grants resources, volunteers and honor, not to mention the gratitude and potential reciprocation of the person whose base you defended. Support randoms, it's worth it. - The Medical Platform has a severe choke point at the entrance to the interior. Attackers should always deploy some form of grenade or decoy down the stairs before proceeding, and Defenders should always set up traps below the stairs in anticipation. It is the second hardest platform to fully invade after R&D (due to the complete lack of cover from being spotted from above). The easiest platform to invade is probably Command due to the amount of cover available. Defence budgets should be planned accordingly. - On a multi-platform FOB, be sure to heighten security at the ends of bridges, these are the easiest places to catch out Attackers. - Missions flagged as hardcore (Subsistence, Extreme etc) are not required to reach the game's ending. If you run out of non hardcore missions (happens around mission 40), you've hit a point where progress is triggered by gameplay time, not mission progress. At this point, feel free to do some side ops, FOB invasions, redo old missions with new tech and tactics, or take on some hardcore missions. There should still be plenty of content for you to pass the time. I'd highly recommend playing [Subsistence] C2W, it's a really refreshing twist on the stealth mechanics. - Unlocking custom weapons lets you create things you shouldn't be able to yet, such as silenced tranq sniper (handiest weapon in the game, it's totally OP), silenced machinegun, and assault rifle with underbarrel launcher. - Interrogating Mother Base staff will give you the locations of the raw diamonds. - The water pistol can be used to extinguish fires, allowing for a darker infiltration route. It can also be used to break electronic equipment without using explosives. You can hold up enemies with it as if it was a real gun. - While an enemy is being carried, is sitting in a vehicle or on a horse, or is stashed in a hidey hole, they cannot die from their wounds, they cannot wake up and they cannot regain consciousness. This only applies to NPCs. Enemy players can wake up the same way as if they had been knocked out by a Wandering MSF Soldier, even while being carried, so don't get too cocky when fultoning an incapacitated Attacker or Defender - this has got me killed. - Other objects work just like magazines to knock enemies out when in Reflex Mode, for instance smoke grenades are handy to provide cover to fetch or fulton the incapacitated. - You can only plant C4 on an enemy's back if they are standing. Therefore it is not possible with snipers.
+Elijah LaRuffa Mortars are used by defending NPCs but they are completely useless on the cramped areas of a FOB. MGs are entirely ignored by defending NPCs as are AA guns. AA guns aren't even useful to a defending player. You're just adding extra fulton targets to your FOB by having them, better to just sell them.
+chiffmonkey I recall a riot armored guard trying to shiv me when i held him up with a riot shotgun... He was on the edge of a cliff.. Mistakes were made...
I was driving my armored vehicle there and the game forced me out of the vehicle when rubble fell on it and Quiet appeared. I didn't even have time to prepare; all I was doing was driving on a scenic tour around Afghanistan while shooting people with the vehicle's cannon.
8:09 "Do not kill her. Stun her and then take her home." Under real life circumstances, that line would probably land you a one way ticket to prison. lol.
If you're not willing to give up quiet + the story, play normally till 44 mission, she'll leave. Do mission no. 11, 6 times, on 7th you'll see mission 11 (reunion) after finishing it , you'll get back quiet despite 'Ending the story of quiet'.
One thing i noticed about the demon thing, was that once when an enemy woke up (Can't remember if i stunned him or tranq), he said on the radio that he was attacked by a demon, and the others didn't go on alert, thinking he was crazy.
Another tip: if you lose Quiet, you can regain her by playing Mission 11 about 6-7 times. Then you’ll get a Reunion version of the mission, and you’ll have her as a buddy again. Bond level stays the same, I believe, and she won’t leave again. Also, you can hit 100% bond with her with the butterfly emblem.
The last living Snake after the metal gear solid series left is currently Solidus Snake, which i dont see coming back for another metal gear solid game because of his rapid age acceleration problem being a big boss clone, who is probably already dead by the time metal gear rising: revengance takes place.
+jude m some say the story is trash and extremely spaced out but if you understand the logic to the true ending, the story itself breaks the 4th wall (waiting silently for all of haters to bash on my comment)
+Tom Maxey (Solidcrock013) I understand the point of the ending "breaking the 4th wall" but it just kinda feels wrong. Also does anyone know how I can get past misson 41? like get more yellow story missons?
she will be back right as she was when she left. U have to beat her normal mission like 7 times in a row to do it though. Obviously don't kill her each time, u can skip all the cutscenes though. On the final time the mission will be called reunion or something and after that she's back. The story is basically over by that point so the story doesn't acknowledge shes back but shes back and good to go just like b4 she left.
@@ool_ongtea3283 to speed up the mission use a supply drop on her head twice. Must use binoculars to Mark her on the map in order to supply drop on her head. You can also use it on Extreme cloaked in silence as long as you wait till the box is 10 m above her head and then stand up/duck so she doesn't escape the box hitting her.
Cause when your doing headshots everytime you kill an enemy the game gets how you kill/infiltrate the base if you infiltrate bases every night enemies will wear night vision goggles
The game is self learning? it learns and adopts/adjust's to how you play it., Damn that is badass! I learned things about the game on this vid i would have never known!
The reason why there is a reaction system is bc the game wants you to think strategically. If you go guns blazing all the time everyone is going to wear heavy armor and what the game wants is that u adapt and play it stealthy. I think thats beautiful
Yeah it's incredible Unlike most game difficulties where it's just Enemies do more damage and smaller health bar That's kinda lame I prefer creative/adaptive difficulty Like in Bayonetta harder difficulties more enemies, harder enemies earlier in the game etc MGSV is so cool. It forces you to be creative and try new things.
I played MGSV for like 350h, completed it to 100% and also did the platinum trophy but still, you managed to teach me something about this awesome game. Thank you so much! It's absolutely amazing how high the level of detail is in this game.
As long as the NPC doesnt submit they will continue to take pistols out if you continue to disarm them. Its pretty funny to do in game when you're messing about.
+TheMadMadman The open worldness to it is definitely unpolished. While the open world is very important and adds a good bit of features to it, it becomes extremely repetitive after a while. And having to travel from one place to the other for missions/side missions....it's pretty annoying.
Shane Benjamson There are different ways to fast-travel around the worlds though. It basically comes down to a choice- a big overworld with lots to do but little variety, or a small overworld with lots of variety but nothing to do. I dunno, its hard to explain ;P
+TheMadMadman Honestly it all comes down to what's expected of today gaming, heck, even the new final fantasy wants to have a huge overworld and be all free and openy, all games seems to be doing that nowadays, some will excell, some will not. It's like, all games are measuring dicks nowadays ''oh mine's bigger than this one that was bigger than that one'', the bigger it is, the harder it is to give it variety. Mgsv is fine, it needs tweaking especially on the chopper thingie, were you have to wait a lot when you're going out, i don't mind the wait going in, that gives me time to plan, and i understand why that happens too, for battle encounters (like going out on the middle of a fight, instead of just blacking out you have to shoot down whoever's shooting at you, it's cool) BUT they should've programmed it to just black out when there's no one at your tail or something, which for me is often, i'm like, stealthly as fuck and no kills ever. Overall i don't mind the ''boring'' running to one place to another, tho' for people that do hate it, being able to use 2 buddies would be great (Dhorse plus whoever, of course the buddie menu would be a clusterfuck)
I've told an enemy to get down before as an experiment and he stayed down for 20+ minutes. he was still laying down until I lost patience and extracted him anyway. As far as I know the 5-hit cqc only last 15 minutes. assuming no one finds him, telling them to get down may be the longest lasting neutralization short of death.
+ExpertLayman If you hold people up (can leave them standing, but lying down they're less likely to be seen), they will stay supressed/in that state until either you trigger an alert or one of their buddies sees them and goes over and talks to them (like when they wake up sleeping buddies). Pretty useful for large camps
Unless somebody finds him, he should stay down forever. Seriously, I completely left the outpost for a while, did a side op and came back and he was still there laying down in the mud XD
Just figured it's worth mentioning, but the game itself tells you that if you mark a staff member with a "Direct Contract", they are protected from death or capture, but they cannot deploy as defenders on your FOB in exchange.
You can get back Quiet if y repeat about 7-8 times mision 11 . will change mision 11 repeat to reunion. then y can have Quiet back :D 100% cause i did to my game. so feel free to complete the game to max
You showed me ALOT and some hilariously useful tips. I already knew about the Stun durations due to the tips and the difficulty system, which I think should be in more games since it's so variable depending on playstyles. My marine friend plays this on PS4 and I'm on Xbone. We both talked about how different our enemies were and I love that about this system. Put this is concept in more games ASAP for gaming. The box I had no idea it had that many useful things with it and it's even used for transportation on hills LOL. Them running towards the female cardboard pictures had me laughing. The Shower is alot more in depth than I thought. I had a feeling that "refreshed" had to be doing something and I didnt know your HP would decrease below 100%. As for Morale, walking through the base was REALLY bothersome especially on the big one, but now atleast I see all I got to do is Prisoner rescues to bring it up. This just saved me ALOT of time. Thanks
Volound Did you really take the time to mention "Alot" is not a word when I know how it's supposed to be used. "A lot or alot" can be tolerated here unless you are always politically correct on things. This is the internet and youtube comment section. Alot gets a pass by me since people still understand what you mean and it's just being simple in a chat system. If anything, why are you doing it entirely in your statement if you are trying to correct mine. There's not anyone who put both "aproblem" and "abunch" without spaces at all in the same sentence. Noone makes mistakes or type that way. Only alittle is used by people. That better be sarcasm coming from someone trying to judge grammar since all this reply did was focus on 1 word used in my post that was only used 3 times. Seriously, I assume using numbers instead of spelling it annoys you as well?
For me, quiet was during open world. After completing mission 7,i was just roaming around and arrived at the time. I thought is pretty quiet in here, no soldiers, and went in curiously and then the cutscene played lol
3:54 Actually, a headshot with a Stun weapon lasts as long as long CQC. Just tested it live going Leeroy Jenkins style into an outpost and headshotting everyone with my STN SMG. Or the easiest way is to just hide in a dumpster and tell Quiet to "Cover me" with her tranq rifle. I'm not ashamed to admit I S ranked the Extreme fight in the Airport against the skulls with that method. Quiet is bae.
YOU CAN GET QUIET BACK!!! You can get quiet back after mission 44 by equipping the butterfly emblem and playing “cloaked in silence” 7 times, each time you must defeat her by dropping drop boxes on her head, repeat this method 7 times until you see in parenthesis [REUINION] next to that mission, if you complete that mission with [REUNION] next to it, quiet comes back to you forever at 100 bond
For the demon form or full karma mode the thing I've noticed most (other than the whole drenched in blood and the horn thing) is that the blood leaves a trail and if enemies see it they go into alert mode
Russell Grier you can't use it on the "man on fire" the water boils off to quickly. the easiest way in the mission 20 Voices to beat him is to run back to the tunnel, watch the scene where he makes it collapse, now if you don't know where they are already put on nvg goggles and drop a C4 pack next to one of the water things in the building lure him to it detonate and then call the chopper he should stay stunned long enough for you to escape
+Russell Grier You can actually use the water pistol to stun Man on Fire, but you need to hit him with it 50 times. It's not worth it in the end, but it does work.
Teebz 1000 witcher 3 in my opinion is the best game ever made but I still agree that mgsv has much more features when it comes to the game AI and specifics
If only the game had a cohesive story without so much faffing about required for the true ending, it would be perfect. Sorry if it sounds bitter, but after my only reward after doing Chapter 1 was the same missions but in hard mode, I felt pissed. Also, most of the story missions don't tie in to the main story, more like "we got a new job, do that Boss", which shouldn't be mandatory, as it gets the main story muddled in a bunch of busywork. I'd probably do them anyway, because I actually enjoy the game and kept playing it after completing main story, but I just wished the story was a continued cohesive thing like in every other MGS.
I've noticed the enemies lately have been wearing helmets and also billet proof vest and shields and night vision. So it's making tranquilizer shots more difficult because they don't work on body armor. The horn in his head also seems bigger. I've been rolling in with a tank and helicopter support a lot lately.
Maybe 6 years late but the horn grows if you are doing evil things such as making nukes, for helmets, weapons armour etc.. you can reduce the amount they get by doing the deployment operations they should have symbols next to them
With Quiet, you can actually give her movement commands right from the map function of the idroid. For consoles you'd press up on the D-pad a few times and you'd see both Quiet (Scout) and Quiet (Attack). (Scout) targets camps or outposts only. Quiet runs through the camp and spots enemies, prisoners, and other missions objectives for a short time until she then moves to a nearby vantage point. (Attack) targets sniping vantage points spread throughout the maps and orders Quiet to move there. Contrary to the name, she doesn't attack anything. But this allows you to put her in many more locations than (Scout) allows for. Now for Quiet to shoot things, a few criteria must be met. -First you can use the in game wheel while aiming at an enemy to give her a Fire command. Quiet then fires one round of her equipped rifle at the designated target's head. This is important because helmets will stop the bullet from all but the strongest sniper and will alert the camp. -Second Quiet will automatically shoot at ANY target that detects you. This can save you from being discovered, but can also make capturing targets slightly more difficult. -Third, with a high enough bond level, Quiet can be ordered to "Cover Me" in the in-game wheel. This will have Quiet shoot ANY enemy she has line of sight to and will last until you order her to stand down. Enemies will return fire so be careful not to let her get hurt too much. -Lastly her coolest ability though is (Grenade Ricochet). Accessed from the in-game wheel with a high enough bond level, this makes Quiet shoot the next grenade you throw in mid-air. This does not detonate the grenade and instead causes it to magically fly to the feet of the nearest enemy to YOU then detonate. This works with standard grenades, flash bangs, and smoke grenades as I have tested so far, but likely works with gas grenades too. Quiet tends to take the most micromanagement of all buddies, but allows you plenty of help when used well.
I think this video was before the patch that let you get her back, kind of wish the 7th try had unique cutscenes. Cloaked in Science! Needs to be a mission name now.
For people like me that decided for some unknown reason not to ever play this awesome game until 2024, regarding the quiet leaving and then not being able to finish the game, they added a patch after this videos release a few years back where you can finish the game after she leaves but then you can go replay her mission 7 times until it changes to reunion, and get her back. She’s not canonically back but she’s back to use as a buddy so best of both worlds
to make quiet scout the area, you don't need to go all the way to buddy support, just press down with the directional pad and it will give you different options (place marker, helicopter, supply drop, quiet's actions etc.)
This is the first metal gear game I’ve ever played and I️ gotta day I’m impressed. Better than any game I’ve played. Love the way that you can just do things your way and the game adapts.
20:52 Morale, just for some people who might be confused. It can be raised via walking around Mother Base and interacting with soldiers, or there are manufacturable items for it. Such as the Helicopter Speaker.
If you don’t want that butterfly emblem and if she leaves you, there’s another way to get her back. 1. Finish her story 2. Finish “a quiet exit” 3. Replay “ clocked in silence “ 4. Replay the mission where you meet quiet *SIX OR SEVEN TIMES* 5. On the *SEVENTH OR EIGHTH TIME* you’re mission instead of it saying *REPLAY* it will now say *REUNION* 6. Play it one final time *WITH OUT KILLING QUIET* 7. Now you should have everything you bought for quiet will be back and quiet! Your welcome.
+Dante & Holly quick question. if your bond is 100% quiet and then do the butterfly emblem but stays at 100%, is it actually 80-90% like you said or am i too late?
Mr. Mcblack The Emblem prevents her from leaving. So either you keep her under 100% or wear the Emblem c: You can also just do both to be safe and take all those precautions before Mission 41
+sb792079 LOL I knew about it but never really used it. I spent last night gathering all the invoice in Afghanistan. Tonight I'll be doing the ones in Africa. Look for PowerPyx's guide.
lol my difficulties are all at Red. I regularly have to deal with snipers, night vision, helmets, heavy armor suits, surveillance cams with machine guns, and big sun flares they shoot up into the night sky. But, that still don't stop me from getting an S rank :) They can't mess with my wormhole though, so I guess I have it good on that part. :)
Just send some of you soldiers to attack an enemy convoy or storage depot full of helmets, night vision goggles, flashlights, body armor, security cameras, or fleres.
ok got a new one !!! i was with d-dog at the enemy airport base and killed everyone , i threw a grenade to blow up the fence but it flew to close to a light post which knocked over the light post while it was raining the light post fell right next to me and shocked me and d-dog unconscious
Quiet's ending is sad as hell so no way in am I going to complete her story. I'm keeping her as a buddy. She's too useful and interesting to have it end that way. Thanks for the tip.
another trick ive found for getting moral from mother base soldiers is by going near a group of your soldiers and using your sonar equipped arm (hold Lb and down) this will get salutes from all the soldiers in the area at once even if they are on different levels, instead of going around to each individual. (note there is a range im guessing between 25 to 30m radius. im not sure but im guessing if you fully max your that it equipment the range will get bigger.
So refreshing that this feels to the point and not dragged out, and the lack of "click here to subscribe" (except in text), thanks for a good solid vid!
+32combatarms You can still do it on Extreme - it just takes 4 drops instead of 2. You also have to keep her attention so that she doesn't run away before the drop hits.
Hey!
Just so you guys know, we mostly stream on Twitch.
www.twitch.tv/dante_holly
See you there! :)
@H. Commander this was made 2 days after the game release

+chiffmonkey Thanks man.
+chiffmonkey Wow! Thanks for all the tips. The water pistol seems really useful. Also, I wish I knew about the FOB that gives you fuel.
+Elijah LaRuffa Yeah fulton em and sell em to make a quick profit.
+chiffmonkey I recall a riot armored guard trying to shiv me when i held him up with a riot shotgun...

I was driving my armored vehicle there and the game forced me out of the vehicle when rubble fell on it and Quiet appeared. I didn't even have time to prepare; all I was doing was driving on a scenic tour around Afghanistan while shooting people with the vehicle's cannon.

You can get Quiet back by replaying "Cloaked in Silence" until you get the [Reunion] option.
You can do the regular mission not the Extreme version
wait so will it reset the whole buddy percentage? Or will she keep the %100 when I do Reunion?
she will be back right as she was when she left.

The reason why there is a reaction system is bc the game wants you to think strategically. If you go guns blazing all the time everyone is going to wear heavy armor and what the game wants is that u adapt and play it stealthy. I think thats beautiful

Unlike most game difficulties where it's just
Enemies do more damage and smaller health bar

Its pretty funny to do in game when you're messing about.
And people say this game doesn't have polish...
***** Yeah I've noticed a lot of games wanting to go open world.
Use the cargo-transport things.
"Do not kill her. Stun her and take her home." Got it.
If someone else sees u he'll get up with his guns. Kill him
James Miller but if your doing a no kill run (or really a 1 kill run) then you dont really want to kill anyone so its better to just hold them up.

Thanks
100% agree every game should have an adaptive ai keeps the game fresh and fun.
+NirvanaNexus there is alittle bit of aproblem with your comment and it is that alot is one of abunch of words that are not real words.
Volound
Did you really take the time to mention "Alot" is not a word when I know how it's supposed to be used.

You can get quiet back after mission 44 by equipping the butterfly emblem and playing “cloaked in silence” 7 times, each time you must defeat her by dropping drop boxes on her head, repeat this method 7 times until you see in parenthesis [REUINION] next to that mission, if you complete that mission with [REUNION] next to it, quiet comes back to you forever at 100 bond

+Russell Grier No, there is not enough water . but you can use for the skull (bosses). it stuns them for use sleep grenades.
Fl3xo2d you can also get quiet and d-dog wet
+Russell Grier You can actually use the water pistol to stun Man on Fire, but you need to hit him with it 50 times. It's not worth it in the end, but it does work.

this game has the most features in gaming history
That and The Witcher 3

If you need to increase your Morale of your staff, smoke the Phantom Cigar at Motherbase.Far easier than fighting / saluting every soldier you see.
JCally83 wait really? How does that work?
You have to replay cloaked in science 7 times you'll get quiet back so you don't have to have a butterfly emblem
Replaying that mission 7 times will cost GMP. It will decrease by deploying, using supply drops, and more.

lol my difficulties are all at Red. I regularly have to deal with snipers, night vision, helmets, heavy armor suits, surveillance cams with machine guns, and big sun flares they shoot up into the night sky. But, that still don't stop me from getting an S rank :)
They can't mess with my wormhole though, so I guess I have it good on that part. :)
Just send some of you soldiers to attack an enemy convoy or storage depot full of helmets, night vision goggles, flashlights, body armor, security cameras, or fleres.
This is super late but just got into this game and this is by far the best gameplay tricks video out there, thanks!
i love how you commentate and i find that you have a great personality so ill definetly be subscribing and watching you alit
+djhit70 Thank you very much :). Welcome aboard c:
He dose not have default controls one
So to quick swap with default controls its square
But over all great video dude
Thanks for the tips
:)
Every time he says triangle, its the quick dive button for other controls
Thats disgusting, reload button switched with swap weapon, ew
Same with the troublemakers. I dismissed about 20 soldiers with Troublemaker. I was just, GTFO
LOL I love the stun move with the magazine. That is totally classic.
ok got a new one !!! i was with d-dog at the enemy airport base and killed everyone , i threw a grenade to blow up the fence but it flew to close to a light post which knocked over the light post while it was raining the light post fell right next to me and shocked me and d-dog unconscious
Awesome, many thanks for info. I love your humor ;-)
+Look in-Look out Glad this video was useful to you, thanks! :)
This video proves how awesome this game is gameplay wise
Thanks Josh for helping us out with the tutorial! Your sacrifice is forever indebted!
Thanks for this man, you just got another subscriber😁
nice video, you really taught me many things I didn't know!
Thanks! :)
Geez where the heck did you know all this stuff 👏
Android Hacks The wiki
By playing and trying out for yourself instead of doing what the screen tells you to do 🙂
You played with Josh like a damn fiddle!
Quiet's ending is sad as hell so no way in am I going to complete her story. I'm keeping her as a buddy. She's too useful and interesting to have it end that way. Thanks for the tip.
You can get her back by replaying mission 11 seven more times
History507 yep
History507 well I have to get some more tanks
another trick ive found for getting moral from mother base soldiers is by going near a group of your soldiers and using your sonar equipped arm (hold Lb and down) this will get salutes from all the soldiers in the area at once even if they are on different levels, instead of going around to each individual. (note there is a range im guessing between 25 to 30m radius. im not sure but im guessing if you fully max your that it equipment the range will get bigger.
+Digger Penetito Wow, didnt know that, is a good way to save time. Thanks bro
+Santiago Shadowmx no worries man
+Digger Penetito Oh that's cool! :). It's a shame that it only gives +1 Morale though :/. Earning a Medal gives +80
yeah i realized after watching this vid but i thought it was a cool little trick
Digger Penetito It totally it c:
So refreshing that this feels to the point and not dragged out, and the lack of "click here to subscribe" (except in text), thanks for a good solid vid!
For all the noobs trying to tranquillise quiet, order a supply drop on her head!!! You can get her so easily this way!
Unless you're playing the mission on extreme...
+32combatarms bruh you can use the sleep gas strike
+Shadowshrend4 pfff not when you've got a tank
Haha i saw that video the other day it helped me soo much
+32combatarms You can still do it on Extreme - it just takes 4 drops instead of 2. You also have to keep her attention so that she doesn't run away before the drop hits.
thank you for the hints dude
+Javier Villezcas You're welcome! :)
Josh had a hard life
+joshua altobar :'D
There is actually a challenge to slide downhill in a box for 150m.
I use this all the time to quickly go downhill.
Good times with Josh
His accent makes this already awesome video 1000x better
+Deeken Wheeler Thank you ^-^
I love your laugh dude.
Thanks for this video! I didn't know most of the things covered, just goes to show how deep this game really is...
the difficulty thing is fucking amazing
