People have asked in the comments why I had to get a Covid test to travel, even though I'm already fully vaccinated. The reason is because different countries have different rules, even within Europe. The day after filming this video I flew from Corfu to Italy. (I posted some clips on Instagram: instagram.com/gabrieltraveler) The rules can be confusing and hard to figure out. It wasn't completely clear whether my vaccination card would be enough for me to enter Italy, so I decided to get a Covid test to be on the safe side. Also it can depend on your mode of transportation (whether you fly or cross a land border), on your citizenship as well as which country you are traveling from. Europe is opening up to tourism country by country as we go into summer, but it's not as easy as it used to be to just enter Europe and then travel around freely between countries. Here's a website with updated info about the travel restrictions for every country of Europe: www.euronews.com/travel/2021/07/02/what-s-the-latest-on-european-travel-restrictions
How was the test? Did it use the long qtip or the short one? Going to Greece in September and I understand that US travelers need a covid test 72 hours before departure in order to return to the US.
I got the antigen test so it was the short q-tip, quick and easy. As far as I know you're right that a Covid test is still required to enter the US. Maybe that will change sometime in the future.

Hi Gabriel. Ihave to suggest you to visit (if you dont have already) Mani peninsula in Peloponnese. Its a different wild place. I also suggest you to visit in Cyclades the island Tinos. Not for its capital but for the inland and the villages. Especially the road from tinos chora to village Pyrgos has amazing views. All the island has amazing views Also you have to visit the village Volakas. I love Cyclades very much and i thing Tinos is one of the most beautiful secret islands in Greece. Thank you.
Gabriel I'm really enjoying watching you go through Europe! Unfortunately you failed one of my tests. The market is in shade and then you turn and say I'm hot and thirsty. Go into the market enjoy the shade enjoy a cool drink and then continue your Journeys. Markets will not continue unless we support them
