Corfu, an island off Greece’s northwest coast in the Ionian Sea, is defined by rugged mountains and a resort-studded shoreline. Its cultural heritage reflects years spent under Venetian, French and British rule before it was united with Greece in 1864. Corfu Town, flanked by 2 imposing Venetian fortresses, features winding medieval lanes, a French-style arcade and the grand Palace of St. Michael and St. George.
Corfu has the best of both Greek and Italian cultures. I can’t imagine a more beautiful place than that island. Coming from a Cretan, that’s a genuine compliment.

Looks like a shopper’s paradise and one things for sure you won’t go hungry with all the restaurants, great tour love seeing the old buildings so much caricature and love the fact there isn’t music blasting your eardrums so peaceful. One thing I forgot to mention is how clean it is didn’t see one piece of litter on the floor, thumbs up to the Greeks they should be very proud of themselves 👍.

Off course there's so much more to see out of town as well. North and south have amazing places and beautiful sandy beaches. Next time try st George South. Issos beach. Great place lovely people lots of nature and relaxing vibe 👌

Szkoda, że tej atmosfery nie mają w Ukrainie, że nie cieszą się beztroskim spędzaniem czasu z najbliższymi. Patrzą z niepokojem w niebo. To straszne, jak można atakować sąsiada. Czy nie można żyć w swoim kraju szczęśliwie, jedni i drudzy?

I was in corfu a week ago, I noticed a guy with a camera one night and now I just got this video reccomended. I tried to look for the street where I saw him and sure enough, I found myself!! 9:02. Hey I want to visit Corfu in few weeks, is it a good plan to find apartment in old town and then explore the island from there (by scooter) ?
And do you know how much would it be to take taxi from airport to Old town Kerkyra?

We have the biggest commercial navy fleet of the world. Our land prooduce olive oil.We love the tourists but we don't depend from them. Every European country don't depend only from tourism.
