110% totally agree on the Canucks' Johnny Canuck Reverse Retro 2. It’s the BEST-EVER Canucks jersey. The navy blue and kelly green look amazing together and its got Johnny Canuck. "What the hell is a 'Canuck'??" Well, there's your answer, folks! As a longtime and passionate Canucks fan of 44 years, I was thrilled when the Johnny Canuck Reverse Retro became official. I purchased TWO jerseys[HUGHES 43, JOHNNY C. 45(the Canucks joined the professional hockey world in 1945)]. Purchased tons of Johnny Canuck RR2 gear and paraphernalia.
This could be a sign that Johnny Canuck HOPEFULLY replaces the corporately-inspired Orca. Now that Canucks Sports & Entertainment finally own the JC trademark and have successfully trademarked it as their own, it's only a matter of time.
I wish I had bought that Vancouver jersey.
Great list guys! I think your top 5 is spot on, I would just probably swap out the Predators with the Coyotes but that’s just my preference.
The only reverse retro set I’ve got is the Sharks.
Also the new intro is great!
Thank you! If RR1 was different, we might have put the Coyotes in there, but it was a straight repeat and John really hated on the color.
The Wild Reverse Retro 2.0 jersey is a beauty wished it was the Adidas verion that you guys showed not the Fanatics version
Besides the awesome Canucks' Johnny Canuck jerseys, my two other favourites are:
2. Minnesota Wild's North Stars look. Takes the bad taste out of the worst team name in North American pro sports.
3. LA Kings' white version of their iconic purple(Forum blue) and yellow-gold. That's a look LA should be using 24/7. The colours of royalty.
Honourable mentions:
SJ Sharks' California Golden Seals colours of white, yellow-gold and turquoise.
Toronto Maple Leafs blue version of their early 60's white sweaters. The white shoulder yoke on blue looks stunning. Sadly, the Leafs only wore it once or twice. Typical Leafs, of course.
The Canucks Reverse Retro 2.0 jersey was the first jersey that was leaked out
When the Canucks' RR2 was leaked, I was like, "PLEASE let it be true". And thank the Hockey Gods, it was.
@@andrebeck I know u was happy what it turned out to be
Think I have Nashville down in the 20's in my rankings, mostly because it's yet another yellow Predators jersey and I never cared for the goofy logo. Kings / Stars / Wild / Canucks / Bruins were my top 5.
Your top-5 is good. Bruins were definitely up there for us, but we had them elsewhere. It was a simple, yet effective Reverse Retro.
That's around where I would have put the Predators too. Everyone else wanted it in blue. Not yellow.
Now, with you, finishing the Reverse Retro 2.0 videos with the expected end of the Reverse Retros (unfortunately), could we get the worst and the best of ALL the Reverse Retros (Both 1.0 and 2.0 combined)?
John and I voted that Phil should continue to spend copious amounts of money to complete the RR1 collection, so once we have it, you'll have it.
To clarify, Phil didn't know about this vote, so don't tell him.
Vancouver nailed w this jersey and should permanently keep this jersey look!
I don't think anyone would argue if that and spaghetti skate were their third and fourth alternates!
Respectfully disagree...sorry...I'm complaining about Minnesota, but gotta say LA Kings and the Pens round out my top 3...the jersey you have on is chef's kiss perfect.
The Kings were fine, but they've had enough throwbacks to that crown logo and a white jersey wasn't super special (despite them never wearing one) that it was just thoroughly ok. Very very ok. Maybe if that was in black and silver...
@@uglythirds that design in the black and silver...you may be on to something there!
None of these were even close to my favorites of the 2nd run. Wild is nothing more than a lazy copy and paste of their first Reverse Retro, which was better than this one.
