I own the white version of the Oilers Edge 1.0 jersey as a novelty for being the shortest lived Oilers Road jersey. Both of them are so bad. When the Oilers brought back the Royal Blue and Orange in a Reebok cut they were so popular because people hated these so much... and nostalgia. But I think these are so bad that they actually made the 80's uniforms return faster than they probably would have otherwise.

At one point I seen the pain in your eyes, looking like you had just put in your 8th day of work this week. Thought the heat press beeping at the end was gonna be that final straw.😂

The worst ones IMO were: Colorado (home) Dallas (university look) Edmonton (home) RBK Edge ruined a lot of teams’ jersey designs. There were good ones towards the end, but I’m glad the Adidas era corrected a lot of mistakes made during the previous era.

I just got that BUF jersey 2 weeks ago. It’s blank. You know, I had absolutely no idea the back was blue or about the swords! Bonus! I think the white DAL jersey could be a #1 worst RBK Edge.

Honestly that Thrashers jersey is not that bad especially compared to Dallas' efforts for the same time frame. At least Atlanta has something go for it with the color palette and striping. All three of the Stars jerseys were extremely bland with little to none striping or color.

Honestly to get the ghosting out, ironing I have found to be better than steaming, sometimes I’ll put a couple dabs of albachem VLR and it’ll really help get all the gunk and residue off the jersey.

It would be way to difficult to narrow it down to just three.

So IF the NHL gives Atlanta a third attempt at running a franchise properly, should they keep the Thrashers name? Or have a clean break from that terrible franchise / name and those awful 'fugly' jerseys? And yes "it stinks" is the perfect summary of the Reebok ERA (singular).

re oilers jersey...and it's not as though they had to do the different width on the arm stripe ...the Coyotes had a normal stripe that year. Furthermore, the change in width didn't prevent the Islanders from having the stripe go all the way around.

Reebok also messed up the Blues logo. If you look at John's jersey, the break at the top of the logo is boxed off. The logo there is more rounded at the bottom, and I've only noticed that on Reebok jerseys.

Again, maybe it's Brain Worms, Maybe nostalgia of being a kid/teen when they wore it I don't dislike the Oilers Reebok jersey. It's kind of nice in its simplicity. I enjoyed wearing them out and about. It might help that I really like the players I have on mine. Not at the top of my Oilers jersey list but I don't think they're Bad. Just Okay.

For those that are wondering about why the person customized the St. Louis Blues jersey with the number 82, it goes back to their rally song “Gloria” by Laura Branigan which they adopted during their 2019 Stanley Cup run. The song “Gloria” by Laura Branigan was a huge hit in 1982, so as a way for Blues fans to show support for the song, fans would buy customized jerseys with the number 82, some with the fan’s last name while others put Branigan on the name plate with the 82 number. However, Branigan never got to see the run, as she passed away in 2004 due to undiagnosed cerebral aneurysm.

From what I understand the reason QC isn’t being considered is mainly because they can’t find an owner with deep enough pockets. Atlanta and Arizona feel inevitable but honestly I’d like to see some untapped markets like Houston, KC or New Orleans. (I know NOLA is never happening but let me live with my delusions.)

The Islanders black jersey and orange jersey were pretty shit, but I think that Sabres one is one of the worst in NHL history.

That BS jersey is by far the worst jersey in history of sports.

When the Reebok Edge overhaul happened, I thought Edmonton was the worst change. There may have been a couple of worse jerseys but this is the only team for which there was no argument in favor. They just took the color scheme (that I liked) from a really nice template and threw it on a practice jerseys. Others teams (including your other two picks and the orange sleeve on the islanders) took some chances that turned out to be unpopular. But Edmonton didn't even do that. They just made a subpar practice jersey that had no redeeming qualities for traditionalists or people into innovation.

The Turd-Burger never dies and it makes a appearance to this video. I still have no clue what Buffalo was thinking about making that jersey.

i think the dallas jersey is worse than the atlanta one, at least atlanta has color and jersey pattern is better.

This was very nice. I’ve got some Reebok jerseys with the crappy plastic printed numbers that always fade and I want to eventually replace them with better layered numbers, this was nice insight into what to expect.

Fold Name out, I know it's been said to fold name in because the logo on the front is more important than the name on the back. So wouldn't you want to protect the logo inside? If all time logos count I put forward the Nordiques. Because yes nostalgia but also it's in a league of it's own, what other jersey is also it's provinces flag? And the 'Northmen" having an Igloo with a hockey stick tilted against it? No way you could be more patriotic. And if I hear "Oh they were gonna change it" The Islanders did Fisherman. The Oilers wore Orange as a primary colour. Dallas University pulled a senior prank and swapped jerseys with the Stars for half of Reebok. Brands fumble their looks.

The Whalers deal broke down because Peter Karamanos kept raising the bar every time the State and the NHL (Bettman was involved too) came up with whatever he was demanding. The State of Connecticut finally said "NO MORE". I believe it was a ploy by Karamanos to shift the blame to Connecticut and do what he wanted to do all along-- move this franchise. He only bought the Whalers because the NHL was not interested in giving him an expansion franchise.
