Had my first seizure in June at 30. 5 Concussions jun-December from seizing. After blood tests and MRi’s I was told I have a large prolactinoma that’s compressing my hypothalamus. It sucks. They also said I’ve got large brain lesions & “white matter disease”. Long story short I have surgery scheduled and so many medications my bathroom looks like CVS. I find comfort in thinking I will be able to go back to normal if the procedure goes well. Life for the past 7 months has been an extremely hard experience I don’t wish on anyone. Sorry for typing a book, all I can do these days is read and watch UA-cam on my phone laying in bed. My social life is nonexistent so this is my way of interacting. I am praying for everyone struggling with these things, may they find treatments that work.
Been taking Kratom for roughly 10 years and just recently realized my prolactin is probably insanely high. Going to hop on a small dose of caber and hope to get my libido back. Been on TRT for a similar amount of time, but it’s only gotten worse over time
Had low t got all the bad side effects of that. Starter trt 6 months ago felt better but not perfect some months ago my libido disappeared. I have to check for prolactin and the female hormones hope the docs can help me in germoney they are in level 1 in this country
I am also suffering from low testosterone and high prolactine after my pitutary tumor surgery my endocrinologist suggest me dostinex tab...when i take medi my sex drive is fine but when i missed medicine a week or month same problem...how i get rid of this... I'm depressed kindly guide me
The elevated prolactin will likely result in increased conversion of that supplemental testosterone into estradiol. Then you'll have both high prolactin AND estradiol.
They put me on AndroGel because my testosterone was so low. Now I'm having trouble getting the gel, and don't want to have to rely on it the rest of my life. Will testosterone levels ever come back up naturally?
I'm a 42 (1 month shy of 43) year old male and my prolactin levels were good at 4.9. If my prolactin is good but Testosterone level is at 233 (which is still low for my age) - would i need to do an MRI for the brain?
Your prolactin level looks okay. Are you overweight ? What's your estrogen levels? If you're overweight where's your fat located mostly? Is it in the thighs or is it in the belly? Because it's not good for men to have fat in the thigh. Plus, how it your testicles? I mean in size and in volume? I mean are they big and kinda hard or are they small and soft?
I have high prolactin (27) and testosterone of 324 ng/dl. I am 25 yrs old male. Facing low libido and kinda ED. I don’t have brain tumor either but I had Vitamin A toxicity. Any solutions? Pls help me.
Cabergoline, Test E, HCG, and maybe small amount of DHEA and pregnenolone. You’ll feel like a new man. Remember, take extremely modest doses of all the above. Less is more.
What if I have elevated prolactin levels on my blood test (slightly above the upper limit) and I have milky discharge as well but not very visible gynecomastia or any at all (its hard to tell because im above average bodyfat and also have a very muscular chest)? I also did a brain scan and no tumors were found. All of my testosterone levels were within the normal range but the high prolactin and it's symptoms are worrying me because it could be that I have some kind of condition. What could cause something like this? I don't take any kind of medicine or steroids and have never taken before (doctors already asked me about it). I have noticed this problem when I was 19 and it's been 5 years and nothing has changed. My testosterone isn't low but I would want to optimize my test levels since prolactin is certainly not helping it. Been to a few doctors but no help whatsoever.
What's your name prolactin levels? And what's testosterone levels? Because considering you're only 25 (which is an age where a male body should be in its peak) your testosterone should be around 600 - 700, or it's low.
I’m assuming you have your numbers switched. 11.8 ng/ml is normal prolactin range (less than 17 ng/ml) And 465 ng/dL is an acceptable testosterone level
In the era of reels and TikTok I still like these old candid style informational video, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

Hello, as a 35yo with a very high prolactin level, is going on Trt is a good idea to balance the testosterone loss?
No take dopamine antogonist which will help to reduce prolactin levels

Agonist or antagonist? Cos cabergoline is dopamine agonist and helps to check prolactin and increase testosterone @@mindsetxd20
Don't do trt. Try cabergolin first.
