Fyi: any lamp from IKEA only come with the bulb when you buy from online. In store they are sold separately. Also, IKEA already makes a rainbow doormat named "pillemark".

If you want to get rid of the plastic join lines on the plant stand, you can fill the crease with kwik seal caulk, smooth it as much as possible, and then lightly sand. (Cosplayers use this to hide seams in their foam work)

The outside of where you live is beautiful. We can STILL enjoy the outside, thank goodness! I live in a lot different kind of environment, in a midwest residential neighborhood of single family homes. I have a front yard with garden beds and public sidewalk that I can stand a safe distance from and greet neighbors as they walk by, many now with their families! I've met more neighbors during the pandemic than I have the previous six years I've lived here, geez. Also have a fully fenced private back yard with garden beds on 3 sides, a YUGE concrete patio and a stainless steel 10' x 10' "Shezebo" taking up one corner of that giant patio. My little slice of paradise. For sure would not use the rainbow doormat anywhere near outside. But it's really cute. also LOVE what you did to the Ikea cabinet. When I saw the photo before the video started I thought it was actually two separate pieces and thought "I wonder how he did that?" so I was really curious to see how you created it. NICE - and easy, too. Five stars.

I graduated in may and was immediately called to work in a COVID unit in a new city. It's the first time that I've a place by myself and I would never guessed that living in a place that you like could be so good for your mind. I know no one in this city and can't go to most places due to my exposure to the virus, so I spent most of my free time in my room. This is how I found your channel and watched most of your videos in a week. Unfortunately I can't do much to my room due to my lease, but I'm planning to buy a few plants to make it more homely and keeping everything clean and uncluttered is helping too. I'm currently stripping a small telephone table with laser cut outs that drop down about 6" from the top on the front/sides. I originally started with a different idea in mind but once I found the most gorgeous mahogany hiding under 3 layers of paint on top, my project when in a totally different direction - mostly in part bc of your color blocked cabinet!!! I can't wait to see my end result! That's for the endless inspiration, Drew! My fav channel by far! Cheers! 😘

I love the cabinet hack. I would suggest staining/painting a flat piece of trim and attaching it to the back edge of one of the doors as on overlay to cover the "gap". It's a custom cabinet makers trick. You have a fantastic eye for design! Very West Elm vibe. I subscribed because of your talent!👍

If you're trying to paint a straight edge design using painter's tape, put some poly over the edges of the tape before you paint. When you pull your tape up, the paint will have a sharp edge, no bleeding.
