Of all the things you did, the one thing I liked best was that little tip about using a plastic cup to catch the dust when drilling a hole in the ceiling. I've done a lot of DIY over the years, and I can't believe I didn't come up with something like that to help cut down on cleanup time.
I took lots of upholstery classes and upholstered a lot. Here is a trick I learned from Olie, my teacher, who was a professional upholster for 50 yrs. Take off the legs (or arms) if you can when upholstering. You will be able to pull the fabric and won't have the worry of y-cuts. So, in making your ottoman, you could have stapled on the fabric first, then added the screw on legs. Just a thought. I love your DIYs
I used to watch your videos faithfully, then you disappeared. I was scrolling the other day an ran across this one, hope you're back doing videos. You always had good content, easy instructions, practical & affordable projects. TY.
I love your ideas! Living in an apartment I have employed many of your ideas of decor that look permanent but are not. Recently had a routine inspection and the landlord said, "Where did you get all these ideas, man I wish all my tenants employed these ideas!" So, I gave her your UA-cam Channel!
"The Best of Engineer Your Space!" These videos are a wealth of tips and creativity. You are one of the first DIY youtubers to really inspire me. More please...
Now these are some good hacks! Eyeshadow - clever! And I love how they are all inexpensive, practical and look good. IKEA and dollar store pieces all affordable - thank you 🙏
Isabel I love all of the hacks - I love the divider wall - so simple and clean looking, but very customizable! Have to love the litter box as Lea is so adorable. Thanks for using affordable items but making them look high end.
Haven't seen a new video from you in ages so I really enjoyed this one. I think the dividing wall for your office is my favorite of these (including the hanging reversible picture frames).
ALL of these are wonderful! I need a room divider so I think I might do that one. But I also like all the others, so... Hmmm. When will I get started... Hmmmm. Thank you so much for sharing these with us! I have to go to your page now and look for more!
I made a simplified version of your hidden litter box using the Vihals sideboard. I removed the right hand drawer for ventilation, the interior shelves and left most door. Then I made a large hole in the interior divider and covered the raw edges with foam window/garage door seal tape. It's not as sophisticated as yours, but was a lot easier for me to put together and lives in my closet where no one will see it. I'm grateful I had your video to inspire me!
I LOVE the kitty litter box! I too have a Cricut, so that part is a cinch! I think I will try to duplicate it to fit an area in my laundry room. I also like the look of the double sided picture frame. Those two look most do-able for me, but they are all great projects. Thank you!
I’M SO GLAD YR CHANNEL POPPED UP ON MY FEED, I LOVE HOW CREATIVE YOU ARE & THE VIDEOS YOU DO ARE THE BEST I’VE COME ACROSS. I’LL DEFINITELY BE A NEW SUBSCRIBER. ✌🏼😊 🇬🇧
Love the idea for diffused lighting using the semi-transparent cutting board -- one of my pet peeves is when bulbs show and it's too bright in one's eyes. This is a perfect hack. Love the kitty litter cabinet (MEOW). The painted table & chairs are perfection. I'm so impressed with everything you did. Where did you learn to use all the tools and build things? I don't even know how to use my cordless drill.
My favorite is the litter box. No more granules to step on! A small piece of artificial turf inside maybe good for getting the granules of their feet before they come out of the box! They’re all great ideas, thank you!
Oh! I love the lamp hack. Currently, suffering the fluorescence lights in this rented apartment. The wall wiring is there, just waiting for the lamp/lantern idea to create the Boho look.
The eye shadow solution reminded me of when I was first married I tried my hand at wallpapering….what a disaster! The paper was bright red and rather thin. After the paste dried, the seams popped open making a red and white striped paper. So I took a red magic marker and colored in all the white bits. Really disguised the problem!
Loved the litter box . So cute & practical. The double sided picture frame is such a great idea. I have not seen any of your videos for some time. Your ideas are always so great & doable. Thank you for sharing your talents.
The wall-mounted switch and plug-in receiver look so cool! I'm definitely going to look into that for some of my lighting. Thanks for all the great ideas! 😊 Edit: My favorite hack is the table and chairs combo. It's making me think about "upgrading" my existing table and chairs at some point. 😊 I also really enjoyed the cork trivet door display and might do something super similar this coming winter season.
So glad to see a post. I was just checking the other day and realize it been almost a year since you posted and I hoped all was well As always a very well done video with lots of good ideas
Like and subscribed. I liked the room divider as it inspired me to create a much needed bookshelf in my small study area. The lamp idea was exactly what I have been looking for.
Good. Morning. You are one of the most Amazing DIY persons that I have ever seen on UA-cam. I live in an apartment and I definitely want to try and your d. I. Y's. Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience. Your projects are awesome. I am in awe.
I've also seen where the round object was traced onto paper, the circle cut out and folded in half, placed on the round object with the rounded edges lined up using the straight edge of the paper to trace a line down the middle of the object. Your way is much simpler, quicker and probably more accurate. Thanks.
The cat litter box cabinet is my fave.. (although, I’d need to ask a couple of my brothers to help as I’ve no tools, or experience using them. I’ve also saved this video, so I can re-watch it & jot down the list of all I need as well as the the process & from start to completion on which you did it).. The 2nd fave is the sisal covered table legs. Even though I’ve a cat tree they’ve pretty much scratched most of the sisal on the front & side legs & im unsure if it can be taken apart again to switch up the non scratched back legs with the ruined 1’s..? (If so, I’m gonna try that & also a tip for any cat owners, is when your kitty has lost interest in certain items. Spray them sparingly with a good quality cat nip spray.. I switch Abt their toys & tunnels etc & give them a fresh squirt of catnip spray. As if they’ve too many toys laying around they soon get bored. Or don’t know what to play with bc there’s so many, they’re poss overwhelmed) Thanks so much for sharing some really cool, inexpensive IKEA hacks that any1 can do.. (in my case, with help.) But I’m poss not alone in that, as I’m very new to up-cycling furniture & haven’t ever customised existing furniture to make something brilliant & unique from it!! So many folks like yourself have great ideas, but not Every1 who has them, bothers to share them with others. So that’s very much appreciated. 🥳💝🎉
The cat litter box is pure genius! So brilliant and beautiful!
I love the room divider, the cat scratch post legs on the table and, the private kitty privy! So clever! Thanks for sharing!
There's do-it-yourself, and then there's *build-it-better-yourself* and I am here for it!
Yes! Thanks for being here 😄
I’ve also painted these ikea chairs- bargain!
Love the room divider, the kitchen cart/island, and the cat litter box “house”, which, I think is my favorite.
Of all the things you did, the one thing I liked best was that little tip about using a plastic cup to catch the dust when drilling a hole in the ceiling. I've done a lot of DIY over the years, and I can't believe I didn't come up with something like that to help cut down on cleanup time.
It's an old hack that I forgot about.
Вы серьезно? Даже я знала это давно😂😂😂
I took lots of upholstery classes and upholstered a lot. Here is a trick I learned from Olie, my teacher, who was a professional upholster for 50 yrs. I’ll be using that tidbit! Thanks
Me too!🙂
Thank you that’s a great tip! ❤
I’M DOING A BEAUTIFUL, BUT OLD & TATTY WOODEN FOOTSTOOL,
WHEN IT COMES TO UPHOLSTERING THE TOP, I’LL DEFINITELY KEEP THIS IN MIND.
THANK YOU.

I love a wood table with blue chair, combination of colors lifted up my mood!
"The Best of Engineer Your Space!" These videos are a wealth of tips and creativity. You are one of the first DIY youtubers to really inspire me. More please...
Haha, I suppose this is a round up of some of my favorite projects I've done over the years. Thanks for being there for all of it 😄
Now these are some good hacks! Eyeshadow - clever!
And I love how they are all inexpensive, practical and look good. IKEA and dollar store pieces all affordable - thank you 🙏
Your ideas are always amazing. You have the "silk purse out of a sows ear", idea down pat. Please keep up your ideas, they are always so helpful.
I’ve never watched your channel before, and was very pleased to do so! You’re very handy, and definitely very creative!
So glad you found me and that you enjoy my projects 😊
Love the kitty litter hack and the double-sided picture frame… they were all great!
Loved the room divider
She's really creative and good with tools, etc. Voice is not irritating, explains clearly
Loved the eyeshadow to hide the line trick!
Isabel I love all of the hacks - I love the divider wall - so simple and clean looking, but very customizable! Have to love the litter box as Lea is so adorable. Thanks for using affordable items but making them look high end.
Thanks so much! 😊
It’s good to see you are still here making awesome UA-cam videos! 😎
My favourite is the Dividing Wall Hack. It looks fantastic. You’re so clever!

Amazing, thank you for sharing! I love hearing how people reinvent my ideas for their space. 💕

THE VIDEOS YOU DO ARE THE BEST I’VE COME ACROSS. I’LL DEFINITELY BE A NEW SUBSCRIBER. ✌🏼😊 🇬🇧
9:50 Maybe you can put a night light inside the hidden cat litter box? 🤷🏻♀️ 💡❓ There are motion detection lights you can use.
The eyeshadow! Female ingenuity!😅 Everything looks awesome!👍😎🇨🇦✨️
There are too many good ones to choose! Thxs!
Omg a plastic cup using while drilling, AWESOME!

You could get a battery operated Motion Sensor for the inside of your cat litter box. Sòme cats don't like total dark.😊
My favorite is the litter box. No more granules to step on! A small piece of artificial turf inside maybe good for getting the granules of their feet before they come out of the box! They’re all great ideas, thank you!
Every project is great! Easy to follow instructions. The cat litter box is fantastic!!!! I need that for my cat.👍❤️👍
Hi, I love them all. Plus they gave me great ideas to do in my own home. Thank you.
Oh! I love the lamp hack. Currently, suffering the fluorescence lights in this rented apartment. The wall wiring is there, just waiting for the lamp/lantern idea to create the Boho look.

Great! You helped me solve an issue I had with a piece of art. Hanging it from a shelf made it! You're very good with ideas! Love it.
