Thank you for looking at Lunaris 2! I was thinking about getting this even if I have like 7 synths already. Luftrum pads and presets are just so buttery smooth! Love the ratings system, btw and I agree with your scores! 🍻
Excellent review. Objective and thorough, you covered just what we need. I subscribed. I have Omnisphere, Falcon, Pigments, u-he Hive, a bunch of the unique NI libraries, etc,, but forb pads, holy cow. I've had L2 on my wish list and getting it today on sale. I was considering upgrading my older version of Pigments but I think Lunaris is the better choice.
Another informative and impressive review. You should be getting sponsors with content like this. You temp me with Lunaris. I' still have Aquamarine and the thousands of pads in Rigid Audio' everything bundle to really dive into.
Great review...but Im still on the fence lol. - how many pad sounds do i need really? And my fear is that ill sound like everyone else using lunaris. And once you learn how to make a good pad, its rather easy, quick, and fun to create your own. I love that moment of potentiality when you start with an initialized sawtooth patch and with a few tweaks here wnd there, you have your very own pad. That all being said, this looks like a lot of fun and the possibility of creating innovative sounds is still there.
Thanks. You can never have enough pads!!!! ...or pianos, or 80's synths....In all seriousness though, it is good to resist GAS. I try to remind myself of that every week when the new sales come out.
This is a very insightful, aesthetically pleasing, honest and well-structured review - thank you so much! It will go on the Lunaris 2 page soon.
You're welcome Luftrum. Enjoying both Lunaris and Bioscape!

Thanks Matt! Glad you enjoyed the review. I especially like the motion tools they have. It makes everything very organic sounding.
Superb quality video, and really a good reason to take a look at Lunaris 2.
Thanks Rayder, that means a lot.

Yeah, L2 just sounds very organic when it comes to pads. Glad you liked the video.
Great review, very clear on positives and (a few) negatives. I’ll hold on for Lunaris 3 with better EQ and FX.
Glad you liked it. Yeah, I'm curious to see what they do on the next version.

Thanks Randall. I have not seen Aquamarine, but the RA everything bundle tempts me several times a year when they put it on sale.
@@arcticfoxstudios2018 I finally gave into the Everything Bundle for $57. Here's a short demo of Aquamarine:

I can see the similarities with Lunaris.
It’s very good honest review
Thanks Issie. Glad you liked it.
I do both sound design and compose so this is a no brainer
For cinematic pads Lunaris is pretty fantastic.

Why is one score out of 80 and the other out of 100?
For those who don't care about sound design and just want presets, I removed the sound design portion of the score which is 20 points.
most vst synths are better pad machines.... diva/zebra/massive x/ serum/icarus...etc
