I don’t think there was a single thing introduced in this movie that didn’t end up being important later in the story, it’s insane how they made sure everything payed off
That bulletproof vest on Lemon is actually mentioned earlier in the movie, and it's an interesting one.. Earlier, Lemon was complaining that vest gave you a false sense of security because you could get shot in the neck (After that Tangerine was getting shot in the neck) And then Tangerine replies, it can also protect you from getting shot in the chest (After that Lemon was saved from getting shot in the chest)
According to another comment Tangerine put his Vest on Lemon when he was knocked out in the quiet room, so he unknowingly saved him Then died to a shot to the neck.
Bullet Train was stellar. I would totally watch it again. Lemon and Tangerine need a spin off. They developed the heck out of the main characters. The water bottle scene was hilarious.

This was legit one of the funniest movies I watched this year. I was laughing throughout almost all of the movie. Also the setting of the entire story taking place on a bullet train was such a unique idea. The lemon and tangerine brother duo, as well as Brad Pitt were the best part.
It's not a unuqie idea, because "Murder on the Orient Express" is very popular thing, but Bullet Train perfected this idea by adding SO MUCH HIGH QUALITY ACTION. I absolutely love this movie.
I love that Ryan Reynolds got Brad Pitt to cameo in Deadpool 2 and Brad Pitt then had him cameo in Bullet Train. The friendships these guys have are epic.

It took me like the first half hour to really understand the tone they were going for but once I did (and the rest of my theater seemed to have a similar experience), it was just a stupid fun time. I'd always recommend this one!
I love the Ryan Reynolds cameo, then right after we get Brad Pitt almost getting hit by an electrical wire which killed Brat Pitt in Deadpool who also only showed up for mere seconds. Then you have Zazie Beetz who also played Domino (lady luck) in Deadpool. She was falling and "luck" had her land on an inflatable (believe panda?) The Brad Pitt (bad luck/ good luck) falls into the Mascot of the movie.
The actor who plays Yumira (Hiroyuki Sanada) is by far, my third favorite actor in the film, Tangerine and Lemon's actors get first place, on the account he's like a master martial artist and a trained swordsman, He was Scorpion in the live action Mortal Kombat remake at the age of 60, and one of the lead Samurai warriors in Last Samurai, among countless other films where he's just the all around badass.
I was kinda pleasantly surprised with this movie. The trailers looked like it would be fun, but I didn’t expect this kind of story. Ladybug’s luck is better than he thinks. He should’ve died so many times. Even the last bit when the sign fell on the car: him and Sandra Bullock stood right where the hole of the sign was. Lucky. 👌🏽
Fun fact, not sure if there was already a comment for this but the truck that almost hits ladybug (Brad Pitt) at the start of the film is in fact the tangerine truck.
This is honestly one of the funniest and most entertaining movies of last few years. It's like Tarantino and Guy Ritchie made a film together while on dope.
This was definitely my favorite movie of the year. It was the fun action movie I wanted it to be and more! I hope the director makes another movie like this one, not really a sequel, but maybe something in the same world as this
This movie to me was clearly carried by Tangerine and Lemon who we’re definitely the standouts. I’d watch a whole spin off show or movie about those two. This movie is like a guy Ritchie gangster film mixed with John wick action and Deadpool’s style and it’s absolutely amazing. I want 5 more right now.
I watched this in the theatre with my gf, she wanted to see this and I was leaning towards Thor, was the best decision she could have made, I was laughing my ass off through the movie so much I swore I lost my voice a bit. The crowd reactions were so great too, was a fun night
So the director, David Leitch, also directed Deadpool 2 hence Ryan's cameo but also I think Sandra, Brad, and Channing are all friends so they agreed to cameo in each other's movies. Brad Pitt ended up with a cameo in Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullocks movie The Lost City.
Brad Pitt's character is so Shounen Main character-like. LOL. Even though the author of the novel where this is based said that it's not very Japanese-like but I still get the same feeling when I watch a Live action adaptation or read a Japanese Novel. I only read 2 Japanese novels but I really get the same vibe watching this movie.
"ok. i took the velocity of the train and divided it by its mass and i realised i don't know how to f**king drive a bullet train." this movie is just what you need to start another week. everything in it was a bliss. loved your reactions.
Never listen to critics man, audience knows whats up. This movie is a cult classic, the editing the scenes, the acting, the characters, the plot, everything was superb.
The Twins are actual twins by the way. Fraternal twins aren't typically identical visually, like identical twins. (fraternal the woman produced 2 eggs which both get impregnated, identical two sperm grow in a single egg.)
Another missed detail of the movie: During the fight between Tangerine & Brad Pitt; Tangerine was about to hit Brad Pitt with the kettle, but the waitress arrival interrupted that action ; but later during the train crash in the mid air that same kettle had hit him
Love this movie so much. It's just pure fun and the water bottle life story is tied with the Japanese "Holding out for a Hero" action sequence for my favorite moments
There was a little Easter egg in there I believe when he put the Percy sticker on his head because the actor plays in Percy in the Percy Jackson movies
Loved this movie. After some bad news I had watched this movie alone on a whim and it was really good. Don’t watch many movies or tv shows now a days but really glad I watched this one.
just gotta say i love coming back to this reaction because y'all are just having so much fun with it that it gives second-hand joy even a year and several watches later. truly a comfort video when i need a break or smiles :D
my perspective: he has good luck not bad luck but he is so dumb he doesnt see it as such and takes no responsibility for HIS dumb CHOICES. him getting that combination by just running his fingers over the lock, not looking at it or even trying to guess the combination? luck. him doing it at that time in front of those gangsters? STUPID. him finding the the brief case so fast, the knife bouncing off the suit case to kill the wolf, these are all lucky things and he is so set in his "i have bad luck" negative headspace he cant see it.
So the wolf recognized him because he was the waiter that spilled the drink on him and so him leaving to go clean it up is what saved his life when everyone died by the cake. But instead of seeing it that way he just sees him as another guy that wronged him. That’s why he looks at the stain before he says two for one today. Dude took the slightest wrong as big enough to kill for which is why he brings up toxicity of anger. Great subtle things is what made the movie great
This movie gives me Lucky Number Slevin vibes which I highly recommend, another great and underrated movie! Don’t know why this movie got bad reviews because it’s great!
The audience score of rotten tomatoes is 73 I still think it’s a bit too low. This movie is a ton of fun. Maybe people took it too seriously or didn’t like the backstories but this movie really good. It’s worth the rewatch imita and then just enjoy the characters
I have no idea whatsoever why this movie wasn’t a hit in both the box office and with critics, it’s freaking amazing! Also Fun Fact about Boomslangs: They are extremely feared because their venom is a hemotoxin, meaning it causes both internal and external bleeding, but it symptoms don’t appear for HOURS not seconds after the bite. Also this is honestly one of the best massive ensemble movies I have seen outside of an Avengers movie in years.
This movie was absolutely amazing to watch in the theaters. I feel bad because when it came out, it got so many bad reviews so I ended up watching "Bodies Bodies Bodies," and that movie was bad. I'm so happy that Bullet Train is getting more likes now. It's absolutely hilarious, the action scenes are amazing, and just pure comedy. The one thing I liked about the movie's theme overall was fate/luck. If you paid attention to what the grandfather was talking about, that's why they showed the fate/luck of the water bottle.
I love how when they enter a serious scene there's always smth to make me wheeze out laughing and I also love how they recognized all the other celebs but didn't recognize the other celebrity who was the train servant (Karen Fukuhara) lol

7:28 this little scene where they foreshadow lemon and tangerine fate
Words cannot express how hyped I am for your reaction to this movie! Definitely one of my favorites of this year.
Bullet Train and Everything Everywhere All at Once were my favorites this year.
Bodies Bodies Bodies was also ridiculously funny
"ok. i took the velocity of the train and divided it by its mass and i realised i don't know how to f**king drive a bullet train."
this movie is just what you need to start another week. everything in it was a bliss.
loved your reactions.
He was in last samurai too. He is in almost everything. And I like it😄
Never listen to critics man, audience knows whats up. This movie is a cult classic, the editing the scenes, the acting, the characters, the plot, everything was superb.
If you want a bit of context for the Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock cameos, see The Lost City. Same year.
The Twins are actual twins by the way. Fraternal twins aren't typically identical visually, like identical twins. (fraternal the woman produced 2 eggs which both get impregnated, identical two sperm grow in a single egg.)
I love how the Boomslang was the only one who got off the train unphased 😅
Nah, Channing Tatum's character got off completely unscathed a lot earlier...
@@sundeepparhar1126 I meant of the important characters 😅
Ah yes, Hiroyuki Sanada, the best old man who can do the best fighting scenes in his every movie
A neat detail is the Elder's Sword/cane handle/pommel is a rabbit/duck.
It was so much better than i thoughf it would be. Its so dumb but done in such a creative, hilarious way.
Lemon and Tangerine were the stars of this movie. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry were so great together.
Finally, yall are watching this! It was such a fun and enjoyable movie. Can't wait to see yalls reactions.
There was a little Easter egg in there I believe when he put the Percy sticker on his head because the actor plays in Percy in the Percy Jackson movies
Loved this movie.
After some bad news I had watched this movie alone on a whim and it was really good. Don’t watch many movies or tv shows now a days but really glad I watched this one.
for any of you dororo fans the person singing the japanese rendition of stayin alive is the lead singer of the band who sang op 1 fire.
The singer who sings the Dororo OP actually sang the Staying Alive cover in this movie
just gotta say i love coming back to this reaction because y'all are just having so much fun with it that it gives second-hand joy even a year and several watches later. truly a comfort video when i need a break or smiles :D
I absolutely love these movie reactions! I'd love to see some for newer releases and older classics that you guys may have missed
The running joke of the film was Brad Pitt complained about how bad his luck but he was actually had awesome luck the whole film..
This movie was well written, I saw it in theaters and it was a blast.
Out of the other reactions i see about this movie, you guys are the only one who know that the white death is doing russian roulette, nice
Lemon & Tangerine prequel NEEDS to happen!!
my perspective: he has good luck not bad luck but he is so dumb he doesnt see it as such and takes no responsibility for HIS dumb CHOICES. him getting that combination by just running his fingers over the lock, not looking at it or even trying to guess the combination? luck. him doing it at that time in front of those gangsters? STUPID. him finding the the brief case so fast, the knife bouncing off the suit case to kill the wolf, these are all lucky things and he is so set in his "i have bad luck" negative headspace he cant see it.
This movie was so great I don't watch movies too often but this one is one of my favorites
Great subtle things is what made the movie great
Yeah, I wasn't expecting this to be a good movie. I was literally laughing all the way. Hopefully we have sequel or prequel to this.
THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN THIS YEAR, THE PLOT TWIST IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL NGL. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
This movie gives me Lucky Number Slevin vibes which I highly recommend, another great and underrated movie! Don’t know why this movie got bad reviews because it’s great!
loved the Percy Jackson reference at 4:32 lol (the actor that plays the son is Logan Lerman aka Percy Jackson in the 2010/2013 films )
The audience score of rotten tomatoes is 73 I still think it’s a bit too low. This movie is a ton of fun. Maybe people took it too seriously or didn’t like the backstories but this movie really good. It’s worth the rewatch imita and then just enjoy the characters
33:55 “this shit is clown shoes” send me into ORBIT
I have no idea whatsoever why this movie wasn’t a hit in both the box office and with critics, it’s freaking amazing!
Also Fun Fact about Boomslangs: They are extremely feared because their venom is a hemotoxin, meaning it causes both internal and external bleeding, but it symptoms don’t appear for HOURS not seconds after the bite. Also this is honestly one of the best massive ensemble movies I have seen outside of an Avengers movie in years.
This movie is soooo much fun, and I legit love you guys, and I'm sooooo glad y'all watched this! Keep up the solid content!
Y’all not recognizing kimiko is probably my favorite part
Have they reacted to The Boys yet?
16:50 I'm surprised none of you recognized Karen Fukahara aka Kimiko from The Boys, the concession lady
It’s funny because people were saying Bodies was bad but I watched it anyway and it was great just not a traditional horror that people are used to
The line delivery at 36:37 when Michael Shannon screams “DO NOT CALL ME BRO!!!!!!” is perfect, I’m crying 🤣🤣
Crazy amazing
I love how when they enter a serious scene there's always smth to make me wheeze out laughing and I also love how they recognized all the other celebs but didn't recognize the other celebrity who was the train servant (Karen Fukuhara) lol
Actually Lemon and Tangerine are what's known as mixed twins, it's when fraternal twins inherit different traits of their multiracial blood
