Hi guys you should react to the new House of the Dragon trailers, HBO released two trailers one for each side, one for the blacks and Rhaenyra and another for the greens and Aegon, especially since the new season comes out in June.
This is definitely an underrated movie, I'd say. Such a great balance of comedy, drama beats and pacing. Also just spot on with the well-placed cameos and there were various I think unintended references, too like the White Death's son being accused of being a Percy by Lemon and the actor who played White Death's son played Percy Jackson in Percy Jackson and the Olympians movie lol.
There a few other books by the same author set in the same universe. Tangerine and Lemon appear as do other characters from this story. I’d love other adaptations of Kotaro Isaka’s books.
In Bullet Train (2022) the book that Channing Tatum is reading during his cameo comes from The Lost City (2022), another movie that he is in with co-stars Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock.
This movie taught me that Aaron Taylor-Johnson isn't American and that Brian Tyree Henry, while not being British, does a hell of a British accent. Well, the movie didn't teach me that but a visit to imdb because the movie made me wonder did.
Every person I've showed this movie to... I always ask, if you knew that one of these guys is not British, who would you pick. No one who doesn't already know the answer gets it right.
Love this film. So mental and offbeat. I love how positive you both are about films. If you do ever have a critique it's only ever constructive criticism. Reactors who hate watch or who are sarcastic and critical throughout their reactions are so off-putting. Keep doing what you're doing guys❤
Or maybe Ladybug absorbs all the neutral luck, which means he gets out of situations that don't leave him ahead -- ie, winning -- but also doesn't kill him. Which, if you never get ahead, you start wondering if you have bad luck.
Fun fact; lemon and tangerine are always brothers. How? Lemons and tangerines look nothing alike in nature, but are from the same family of citrus fruits, much like the assassins. Also, you can tell them apart by their hair colour; Tangerine is a redhead and Lemon has blonde highlights.
That bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto is so nice. You get to see Mount Fuji 🗻 pretty darn close. It’s beautiful. Just got to do it on January 1st this year to go to Universal Studios Japan. Everyone was there that day 😆 So busy I just got on two rides. Totally unrelated but that’s what the bullet train part makes me think about.
I think one of the things I appreciate most about this movie is the lack of filler scenes. Everything has a purpose and not one second of time is wasted.
@@OfficialMediaKnights I would LOVE some spin off films of those other characters, Bad Bunny's Wolf. Sandra Bullock's handler, and Especially, Thomas, err Lemon & Tangerine!
Tangerine and Lemon really stole the show, which is saying a lot given how great this movie is. I ended up seeing it in theaters on a whim as a really weird double feature with Barbarian and went into both pretty blind. Ended up loving them both so much, it was a really great decision even with the tonal whiplash between the two. All the cameos are great but Channing is definitely my favorite.
I can't believe that Domino punched Kimiko! Also, Tangerine took of his bullet vest and dressed Lemon in it before slapping him across the face so doesn't notice that.
The worker at 27:30 is Karen Fukuhara, who plays one of the main characters of the action show The Boys, a woman named Kimiko. She was in the trailer and there was a bit of hype that she would have the same action scenes as in the show..... well that never came. Fun movie though.
Reminiscent of Guy Ritchie early movie's Lock Stock... And Snatch. Both of which are Highly recommend. Brad Pitt has an Oscar worthy portrayal in Snatch as a Gypsy bare knuckle fighter. Two very iconic British movies headlined by Jason Statham in non fighting rolls of the British Criminal underground Gangster genre and all the bizarre Shenanigans that come with it. Crazy non- linear pacing, full to the brim with oddball characters, very dark but relatable humor and seamless, very clever plot juggling of the who, what, where, when and why story telling tropes throughout the extremely funny but not comedic movies that check's almost every box for for how one measures an excellent movie.
I went to see the movie blindly, only trusting my best friend who told me to watch it I was fully expecting betrayal from so many cameos (Masi Oka, who is famouls for being Hiro Nakamura in Heroes back in the days plays the controller who hunts Brad Pitt and Karen Fukuhara, famous for being Kimiko in The Boys who plays the "waitress" in the train). I fell in all the traps :D I love this movie
One of the funniest and craziest action comedy movies ever made! I'm getting a new phone today, as the audio on my phone that I have crapped out on Monday. I can't get calls in or out.
I wish I saw this in theaters because I bet it would have be very fun. The movie had some funny controversy of being called white wash casting because its based off a book by Japanese author Kōtarō Isaka. People were boycotting the race swapping but Kōtarō himself said he didn't care. Essentially saying he liked the movie and was just happy to see his book turn into a big movie. His own words below "Its original Japanese context, he said, did not matter much." “I don’t have any feeling of wanting people to understand Japanese literature or culture,” Isaka said. “It’s not like I understand that much about Japan, either.”
Saw it in theaters thrice! T'was awesome. Didn't know about the race swapping but that is something young people need to get over. Hollywood put a crapload of famous actors in this because they want people to see it. If they put all unknown Japanese actors, no one would have gone to see it either. So then what's the solution? Don't make it because the book has Japanese characters? Then no one wins.
There are a bunch of connections with this movie. Brad Pitt cameo'd in Deadpool 2 for Ryan Reynolds. He was the Vanisher, who only appeared for a few frames when he landed on the power lines. Reynolds appeared here for the same length of time as the assassin who killed the White Death's wife, Carver. Zazie Beetz (the Hornet) was in Deadpool 2 as Domino. Pitt also took a minor role in The Lost City, for Sandra Bullock, who returned the favor for Pitt in this movie. Also in The Lost City with Sandra was Channing Tatum.
Such a great movie! I need a prequel movie of Lemon and Tangerine so bad now! Also a side note, the ticket taker on the train was played by the same actor that played Hiro in the tv show Heroes. He definitely should have had some kind of cool interaction when the song Holding On For A Hero was playing in my opinion (missed opportunity).
Ohhhh this is gonna be a good one! I watched this maybe 6 months ago and loved it! It's also the type of movie you'd like to see someone else react to, because not all great movies are like that in my opinion.
Bonkers-ass film, absolutely loved it. It follows what I like to call the "Smokin' Aces formula" - a bunch of unhinged assassins with weird quirks collide with one another and insane shit ensues.
Brad Pitt may be a pretty face, and he may have an abundance of natural charm, but the more I watch his work the more I am impressed with his genuine talent as an actor. I would highly recommend A River Runs Through It, not only does Pitt knock it out but the rest of the star cast does as well (it's also one of my favorite books of all time).
Aaron Tyler is such a hidden gem. Not sure if you noticed who he was lol he played in Kick Ass, Godzilla and was also Wanda’s bother in Age of Ultron. He’s been in other stuff and is also Kraven the Hunter.
Great reaction as always. I absolutely love this movie... On a completely different note, every time I hear: ... I'm Denise! in my head I am like: Hi Denise, I'm De Nephew... I don't know what's wrong with me but I had to put it out there!

My gf and I missed out on watching this in the theater. Finally got around to watching it on Netflix and absolutely loved this movie. It never gets old for us haha
My favorite bit of foreshadowing is lemon and tangerine’s conversation about the vests. Lemon said he doesn’t like wearing them because they give you a false sense of security because “what if you get shot in the neck”. Tangerine tells him he’s stupid if he doesn’t wear his vest. Lemon was shot in the chest and Tangerine was shot in the neck
this is a great movie. brad pitt is an amazing actor and i love his charactor in the movie burn after reading. love the reaction and can't wait for the next. hope you all have an amazing day 🤘
