in another Ryan Reynolds film, "IF", there was a character called Keith, who is an invisible imaginary friend. I feel like too many movies recently (at least the ones I've been watching) have spent too much time focusing on building a bulletproof plot, with realistic scenarios trying to make stuff grounded. This shows that you can make a film that doesnt take itself too seriously, with a bonkers premise and it'll still draw people in and just be 2 hours of fun. I looked up reviews and it does'nt look like many critics liked it but it's one of my favourite films of this year

I wouldn't say this was a Tarantino Anime, I'd say it was more of a Guy Ritchie Anime. The film felt like someone was asked to make a Guy Ritchie film out of the book, I would not have been surprised at all if it had turned out. It didn't quite have the cleverness of a Ritchie movie but it had many aspects of one of his films. This film was so fun I enjoyed it so much.
