I just finished the movie and started to watch their reaction and i just realised that the truck that almost ran over Ladybug ( 2:55 ) is the same tangerine truck that Lemon used to run over Prince at the end ( 34:58 ), i just love those kind of callbacks ! The final discussion about the beeping on the bomb and seeing [BEEPING] on the screen had me dying with them Calvin spilling his water was gold Final thoughs : very fun, perfect cast, great cinematography, controlled chaos, exactly what i like, sometimes had trouble following everything, but i guess it was the point of a first watch. I loved that the Hornet is actually Domino in Deadpool 2 and is basically fighting Ladybug who has the same "powers" as her. And having Karen Futahara in it, even for such a short amount of time, was also very cool, i love her in The Boys. I thought she was the Hornet at one point ! They also talked about the "hitman who doesn't like killing/hurting anymore" plotline and it reminded me of the movie Mr.Right, with Sam Rockwell, Anna Kendrick and Tim Roth, i recommand to at least see it once, so funny and ridiculous, i love it !
Ladybug wasn't unlucky, he brought luck to those around him. Because he was on that train things worked out for the best. Ladybug was "unlucky" himself but brought luck to those around him while the White Death was lucky (I love the touch of russian roulette to show his luck while also being russian), but was unlucky to whoever was associated with him.
@@Commander_Shepard. Not necessarily, The wolf wouldn't exactly be staying the whole journey if he found the hornet and killed her. Equally if Hornet got the briefcase she would have left, Both died due to Ladybugs insertion into the equation.
Some people have pointed out that the white death probably rigs the russian roulette, which fits with his “control fate or it controls you” philosophy. He loads it himself and then rolls it down his arm. With a bit of practice he could know where on his arm to start and stop to get the bullet where he wants.
It makes a lot of sense since when we say that something is "lucky" we don't usually mean that it is the lucky thing but that they will draw fortune to you.
I really enjoyed this movie, its a lot of fun and all the cameos are great. This felt like the live action Cowboy Bebop fans would have wanted but didn't happen, Brad Pitt playing a great Spike and Michael Shannon a great Vicious.

The film was originally written to be a much darker, soulful film before it became the 'poppy' heist comedic one we got. And you can still see glimpses of that original idea with the father/son/grandson storyline.
@@itzelwisteria1819 Was a sadictic 14years old boy, who likes watching how others kill for him and only alcoholic father managed to scare him, so he pushed kid from roof, to revenge him. And he was not son of white death (white dead even was not in the book)

Rewatching this now I've realized how perfectly Ladybug's introduction encapsulates his "bad" luck. Bad luck to step in the puddle, but it prevented him from the much worse luck of getting hit by that truck
Favorite memory of this movie: husband and i were flipping through netflix for something to watch and decided against free guy, deadpool, and some other ryan reynolds movie and decided to go with this one. Lo and behold the ryan reynolds cameo and we lost our shit. You cannot get away from ryan reynolds apparently.
Apparently the book the Channing Tatum is reading is the fictional book written. By Sandra Bullock in The Lost City which both Channing and Brad were in.
Part of me is actually grateful the critical reception was so mixed, because it let me go into this film with no expectations and just have fun and enjoy it for what it was - a lighthearted action romp with some good actors, beautiful visuals, and cool fights.
I saw this in theater with my dad, had no idea what to expect going in and I came out with an awesome experience. Loved it, love seeing other people enjoy it too.
I'm so happy they made this film so ridiculous, it just felt right. Not everything has to be realistic (though the fight choreography was fantastic), and that was the most entertaining part of this movie.
I don't think that I've ever done this before.. but I literally jumped out of my chair and stood up with my hands in the air (like I just didn't care) when I saw that you're FINALLY reacting to Bullet Train! Can't wait to see the reaction!!!!!!
I think it was super funny and clever to have the actress that plays Domino in Deadpool 2 to play the character that wears a giant mascot suit, which is what saves Brad Pitt's character, as Domino gets saved in very much the same way in Deadpool 2 (she lands in an inflatable bear I believe), and coincidentally, her super power was LUCK!
Tangerine gave his vest to Lemon. The first time Lemon was unconscious, Tangerine was fully dressed with his shirt buttoned and the tie on. The next scene he doesn't. The tangerine truck at the end was the same truck that almost hit Ladybug at the start of the movie.
This movie is very well thought out. I would have question during the movie like I did notice the trains were slowly getting emptier and the movie did answer all my questions by the end. It was extremely well written and well connected throughout the movie. I really liked it. I was sad not many people went to see it in theaters it seemed.
I love this movie man, it doesn’t care, the plot is whatever and they’re just tryna make everything look cool and funny and cram as much things as possible, even if it misses sometimes i just love the i don’t care energy of this movie
Ladybug/Wolf/The Hornet are living in a Jackie Chan movie, Lemon and Tangerine are living in a Guy Ritchie Movie, the Elder/Son//White death/Prince are living in an Anime,
I didn't expect to love this movie as much as I did before watching it in theaters, I was looking forward to it because of David Leitch and Brad Pitt but it exceeded every expectation I had by miles! I was blown away and couldn't believe how much fun I had for the whole movie, one of my favorites this year!
Check out the anime Baccano, similar-ish concept to this. Shit goes down in an old train all these characters interact with each other and have interesting backstories that somehow tie in.
Wanted to see this one over the summer but never got a chance. I also noticed a lot of negative reviews but I still wanted to watch it. Once it came to Netflix I watched it with my family and we all loved it. One of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen in quite some time. Highly re-watchable too. I loved it so much.
This is a movie adaptation of a famous Japanese book, it’s definitely more poppy and fun but all in all I think both the film and movie were phenomenal
FINALLY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SINCE THE MOVIE CAME OUT. I love this movie so much, one of the best ones from this year also a few nice details: > the tangerine truck Lemon was driving was at the beginning when brad stepped into the puddle > David leitch was the 17th person, innocent civilian, that got blown up
Masi Oka was the Tickets Please Guy for this movie and the Hornet seems to be Scary Terry with how often she said 'bitch'. In fact, I'm pretty sure they watched Rick & Morty when drawing inspiration for this movie, haha.
A little late but i loved the connections to both deadpool 2 and the Lost City. Brad had Dominos luck even down to landing in a squishy blowup character, with both Ryan and Zazie Beetz in it. And cameos from Chaning and Sandra explain Pitt being in Lost City.
Just wanted to mention and I just realized it during this watch along that the actress who is the snacks tray is Kimiko from The Boys! Such a good cast!
Ladybug almost got hit by a Tangerine truck so they brought that back in the end I love how everything ties together so well in this movie it was absolutely amazing 🤣🤣🤣
This movie gives me Lucky Number Slevin vibes, which I highly recommend, another great and underrated movie! Don’t know why this movie got bad reviews because it’s a fun and great watch!
I wouldn't say this was a Tarantino Anime, I'd say it was more of a Guy Ritchie Anime. The film felt like someone was asked to make a Guy Ritchie film out of the book, I would not have been surprised at all if it had turned out. It didn't quite have the cleverness of a Ritchie movie but it had many aspects of one of his films. This film was so fun I enjoyed it so much. People maybe already said but this film is based on the 2nd book of a trilogy from a Japanese author.
If anyone is interested, Andrew Koji (who plays the father of the child) stars in a series called Warrior. HBO Max have picked up season 3 after Cinemax cancelled it. It has superb fight scenes and also tells the story of how chinese immigrants arrived in the uS and what they had to deal with to survive and thrive....or not.
After Lemon and Tangerine talk about lemon not having a vest. The dude with the pink sweater says I bet tangerine gets shot in the neck. That is some crazy foresight. If you truly have never seen this before that is amazing. I never even thought of that, let alone of the first viewing. Great stuff boys.

Bro I'm so happy they reacted to this movie, I was so worried this was one of them new movies they never get around to reacting, good stuff all the way boys
Bullet Train was honestly one of my favorite movies of the year. I didn't have very high expectations going in - I'm not a huge fan of Brad Pitt - but I've gotta say that this movie fucking exceeded my expectations and more.
I have literally never loved any expository intro like I loved the description of the the white death. I just watched this days ago and I can’t get that kickass song out of my head.
I saw this one in Dolby Cinema at AMC. One of the best for the summer and the year. Impressive cast, so many storylines. Shades of Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino's films. All over the place. Twists, turns and cyclones. I was so easily caught in this from the first trailer. "Maria Beetle" is the novel that the film is based on and the title character is played by Sandra Bullock (sounding and looking so good). Btw, Sandra Bullock with Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt were in another film this year, "The Lost City". The director, Leitch made a cold war thriller called Atomic Blonde (2017) with Charlize Theron. You gotta catch that one.
Brad Pitt said "shitballs" which I've only known said by Pam Poovey in "Archer", and then it hit me, this is like a live action episode of Archer! The swearing; the cut-aways; the editing; the comedy violence; the deep voiced strong Russian accent guy etc. It's exactly like an episode of Archer. There are even episodes like this movie, where they're on a train, plane, or blimp, etc.
So, I don't know if this is a callback, but Domino from Deadpool 2, played the girl in the Hello Kitty type suit, and it's funny because she landed in a panda bear suit in DP2, Brad Pitt landed on the inflatable suit, not sure if that's a callback.
If anyone noticed the 17th person got killed in the car explosion is David Leitch, who is the director of this movie, Deadpool and John Wick. He is also the stuntman of Brad Pitt in the movie Fight Club from what I've heard.

I just finished the movie and started to watch their reaction and i just realised that the truck that almost ran over Ladybug ( 2:55 ) is the same tangerine truck that Lemon used to run over Prince at the end ( 34:58 ), i just love those kind of callbacks !
The final discussion about the beeping on the bomb and seeing [BEEPING] on the screen had me dying with them
Calvin spilling his water was gold
Final thoughs : very fun, perfect cast, great cinematography, controlled chaos, exactly what i like, sometimes had trouble following everything, but i guess it was the point of a first watch.
This movie had me in stitches. Out of everything, the Ryan Reynolds cameo really got me. I'm so glad Lemon survived.
Ladybug wasn't unlucky, he brought luck to those around him. Because he was on that train things worked out for the best. Ladybug was "unlucky" himself but brought luck to those around him while the White Death was lucky (I love the touch of russian roulette to show his luck while also being russian), but was unlucky to whoever was associated with him.
doesn't really work when people die around him.
@@AndyTaken Those people were destined to die anyway because of White Death.
Tangerine was definitely my favorite character. Was hoping he'd make it to the end
@34:58 - the fact they used Truck-kun is absolutely hilarious. hahaha
I wonder which world Joey King was isekai-ed to?
@@mhan00 The world the original novel was set in.
@@mhan00 I was a mafia leaders unloved daughter but now I’m the white death in another world
I really enjoyed this movie, its a lot of fun and all the cameos are great. This felt like the live action Cowboy Bebop fans would have wanted but didn't happen, Brad Pitt playing a great Spike and Michael Shannon a great Vicious.
25:12 For anyone who thought he might look familiar, the young version of The Elder was played by Yoshi Sudarso. He's known for portraying Koda the Blue Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Charge. He also recently started a UA-cam channel where he opens and plays the Digimon TCG.
I just love that everyone agrees that Tangerine and Lemon are the best
So in a meta sense, this was a Ryan Reynolds action movie where Brad Pitt was filling in
Just like his cameo in Deadpool 2 from the same director
Man gets split in half at 600 mph
Arin:😮
Calvin:😮
Eric:😮
Rick:🤨
My mans seen some shit🤣
Rick was forged in the fires of Berserk.
Also when Lemon does a drop kick: 😂
This film wants to entertain you, and doesn't take itself too seriously. It knows what it is and has fun with it. Even people who say they didn't like it usually laugh their way through it. Great film.
The film was originally written to be a much darker, soulful film before it became the 'poppy' heist comedic one we got.
And you can still see glimpses of that original idea with the father/son/grandson storyline.
they completely change Prince character and motives from book, thats why movie wasnt so dark
@@MrEvilside how was the character like in the book?
@@itzelwisteria1819 Was a sadictic 14years old boy, who likes watching how others kill for him and only alcoholic father managed to scare him, so he pushed kid from roof, to revenge him. And he was not son of white death (white dead even was not in the book)
@@itzelwisteria1819 The prince pushed the kid off the roof for fun and manipulates the father out of boredom, as he does cruel things and manipulates other into doing bad things for his amusement, he's a sadistic sociopath basically.
I prefer the movie
I wish Tangerine and Lemon got a spin off. 🍊🍋
SO excited for this! Such a fun movie, designed to just sit back and enjoy plus I loved Andrew Koji in Warrior, such a great unknown actor alongside the big names
i hope they react to Warrior, more people should know about it its great
Rewatching this now I've realized how perfectly Ladybug's introduction encapsulates his "bad" luck.
I love this movie so much, easily my favorite of 2022. Haven't had this much fun watching a movie in a while.
Kinda surprised that no one noticed the stewardess who interrupts the fight was the actress who plays Kimiko in The Boys
I loved watching this film at the cinema. Wish it could've been full with an audience because that experience would've been even better
3 Words to describe this movie Crazy, Fun and Bloody! I had a hell of a time watching this movie at the theater.
This movie was such an awesome surprise. So extreme and ridiculous, but also really well made.
That adorkable lady on the train wasn't the woman who played Mantis, that was Kimiko from The Boys! 🤗
The POV of the water bottle had me dying
Yep
The true main character
This gives me "everything, everywhere, all at once vibe", I need recommendation about this types of movies
One of the best movies ever, not a single boring moment. Was thoroughly entertaining from beginning to end
I love this movie so much, one of the best ones from this year
also a few nice details:
> the tangerine truck Lemon was driving was at the beginning when brad stepped into the puddle
> David leitch was the 17th person, innocent civilian, that got blown up
Masi Oka was the Tickets Please Guy for this movie and the Hornet seems to be Scary Terry with how often she said 'bitch'. In fact, I'm pretty sure they watched Rick & Morty when drawing inspiration for this movie, haha.
It's a adaptation of a Japanese novel.
This is one of my All time favorite movies hands down. So much fun and great action. I’d love more from this universe
I wish you had said Guy Ritchie instead of Tarantino... only because Ritchie's films often have everything culminating into one connected finale. :)
+1
This was my favorite movie of 2022, I absolutely love it
After Lemon and Tangerine talk about lemon not having a vest. The dude with the pink sweater says I bet tangerine gets shot in the neck. That is some crazy foresight. If you truly have never seen this before that is amazing. I never even thought of that, let alone of the first viewing. Great stuff boys.
I love this kind of movies. just a bunch of famous actors just having fun. very well directed, very well written. just fun from the beginning to the end
Great film. I love that every single thing in this film is chekhov's gun
Absolutely perfect planned out movie, I love a movie that was well out thought out and how ever character and item 🤣🤣🤣 has a full spin together.
Bro I'm so happy they reacted to this movie, I was so worried this was one of them new movies they never get around to reacting, good stuff all the way boys
Even for a cameo Ryan Reynolds causes destruction of amazing ness 😂😂I love how the whole story made sense they really covered all their details lol
Bullet Train was honestly one of my favorite movies of the year. I didn't have very high expectations going in - I'm not a huge fan of Brad Pitt - but I've gotta say that this movie fucking exceeded my expectations and more.
I noticed just right now by rewatching with you, Brad Pitt was shown for couple of seconds in deadpool 2, and Rayan was shown here the same time ))
Hands down one of the best movies I've seen recently. So fun to watch you guys see it for the first time too!
This movie is some of the best use of Chekov's gun I've ever seen. Hell, it's Chekov's entire ARMORY!
My favorite movie of the year this movie had it all. Comedy, action, and the feels.
I’m so glad they reacted to this, it’s become one of my favorites
So fun. Like Pulp Fiction + Knives Out + Murder On the Orient Express + Snakes on a Plane.
This movie not only is incredibly fun but also incredibly well done
Probably one of the funnest movies to come out in a long time
5:33 Movie fact: the “poor incident civilian” was the director of the movie 🎥
Agree 100% Just watched it and we could not stop laughing.
Omg i cannot explain how much I've been wanting you guys to react to this finallly . Loved this movie so much myself, its very refreshing
I saw this movie in the cinema, I thought it was such a fun, random movie, I hope they make more like this. Loved your reaction to it.
have not finished the reaction yet, but the wolf character is Bad Bunny!
Oh man I'd love if they did Atomic Blonde, especially if they don't know anything about it.
I missed that this was in theaters. Man this would have been amazing to see on the big screen.
This is my favorite movie of this year! So glad you all reacted to it! So live action anime!
