My comment won't be well accepted probably. But let me 1st say I grew up loving Led Zep and saw them in concert 4 times in the 70's. The 1st 2 times they killed it. And like you said always played different from the studio cuts, which most many times I wasn't a fan of with most bands back then. But those 2 concert I saw early on in the 70's were the exception for me. The 3rd and 4th concert of them were horrible. Mainly due to Jimmy being shit faced and I'm guessing doing the drugs he was addicted to at the time. I Know it took him a while to realize how bad he was, but I found out 1st hand. Whatever he was doing I know I had binoculars and saw the Jack Daniels quart bottle half empty and a few cups and beer sitting on top of his amps at one of the concerts when he could barely stand, let alone play. He was so sloppy both at both those concerts. Don't mean to downgrade one of the best rock bands ever but that's how it was when I saw them. I'll keep those memories of the 1st 2 concerts in the early 70's in my head.

This was a one off tribute concert in 2007 at the O2 Arena in London to celebrate the life of Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. Jason Bonham took the place of his late father on drums, he’s the only person on the planet qualified to play with these master musicians. You never know with Jimmy if it's intentional or not. Him especially, when he changes up his parts at times from the albums. I've seen them 4 times and sometimes I got upset that he didn't play a solo like he did on the album and then at other times I was glad he improvised. It was when he was drinking and doing hard drugs when touring that I lost some respect for him. But his blues solos live where some of the best I've heard.

Dana, few today get it but you do - this reaction was spot on. Back in the day we had many acts that brought this type of talent and energy to the stage. All this I’m afraid has nearly been lost in today’s music. Today’s acts had the best foundation to work from the world has ever produced and they blew it big time. So many of today’s act are out right garbage, no real talent, not even in the same universe - it’s an absolute crying shame at the talent deficit that exists in music today and I’m talking about many of the biggest acts of your generation. As someone who found Led Zeppelin back in middle school I've been a big fan for 50 years now. While "Stairway to Heaven" is often considered their signature song or masterpiece, I personally feel "Kashmir" outshines it. While in high school this album. "Physical Grafitti", came out in 1975 and contains a lot of great music, this song stood out for me. Of course being a teenager and working part time after school the $13 or $14 dollars this album cost put a dent in my spending money, I had to have it. This concert was in December 2007, it was the first time the 3 surviving members did a full set since the death of John Bonham in 1980, his son Jason filled in here and dad would've been proud. They sound as good as it did on the album or any of the live perfornces from '75-'80. One of my regrets was never seeing them live back in the seventies as they played Madison Square Garden a few times and it's a short train ride from were I live.
Why didn’t you go? I’m guessing it’s because you thought there would be plentry of opportunities in the future. We all feel like that when we’re young. Then we find out the truth.

Not sure if Dani's still taking requests on here, but here goes: Rainbow's Stargazer, live at Loreley in 2016. Kashmir and Stargazer get compared quite often - two of the most majestic songs in rock. (Am sure Queen have a few majestic rock songs too!) The reason I mention this is that this was the first time Zeppelin played Kashmir in public since 1988, and that 2016 version of Stargazer was the first for almost as long. Both turned out to be among the best versions ever played. This was possibly the best number of the night in 2007 (other contenders - Trampled Underfoot and Song Remains the Same?). I wish Plant had agreed to do a couple more shows, but I'm glad the others chose not to bring in someone else.

Thank you, Joe! That's the beauty of music - there are different things to love about each and every genre. They are all invoke different emotions, that's the best part of music!
Kashmir was the last song Zeppelin ever played together in this one off concert in 2007, but Robert Plant the singer who was the epitome of the rock god of the 70's has been a solo artist for 40 years now. Hey Dani, if you get a chance, listen to Plant's solo material, and material from his collaboration with Alison Krauss whom as a partnership won several grammy's together from their album "Raising Sand." Some solo recomendations are "Sea of Love", "Big Log", and "29 Palms."
This concert was from 2007. They did this concert to pay tribute to the founder of Atlantic Records and the film you’re watching now was released in 2012.
For the peak of Led Zepplin (in my opinion) you should do the studio version of Rain Song. It's one of the most perfectly crafted and performed songs in the rock canon.

Kashmir is the place in which the band imagines they are conversing with the old local prophets, about revelations and the coming of the Messiah. The sun burns, the sand dries their face. Led Zeppelin are in a dreamlike delirium, in a mystical reality. The revelation will then become a prayer, an invocation, awaiting a direction.
Very astute. It was there final performance of song Unfortunately they will probably never do this together again. You are so sensitive to what is going on with and inside the music.
This was 2008 28 years after their break up due to John Bonham's death. They remain so popular that they had to hold a lottery for tickets because they had 20 million ticket request if it was today they'd probably have the same if not more ticket requests.
New sub. You might wish to see another side of Zep. They were so diverse...they also had lovely acoustic songs. Everyone has their favorites, but mine is Thats The Way....Robert can sing. A gentle song as well as belt it out....you cannot experience Zep live anymore the way I did in 1977, but Robert Plant and John Paul Jones still perform, and up to last year were still touring. Hope they come back to the US again....

Yeah, a NY girl! This is the best Live version of this song out there and it's not bad.Especially since everyone but the drummer is over 60 years old here. But this is one of the few times I think the studio version is better than any of the live versions. This concert was from around 2005. The song came out 30 years earlier. You are right, this music is epic , 30 years ago they had more energy there place in music history as a band is at the top . Enjoyed your reaction , thank you
Good eye, you. Excellent thought and reasoning. Watched you for a couple years, never commented. But you NAILED this one- you get it! Be safe, Dani. Greetings from Canada.
Excellent song. One of my Zep favorites
Awesome reaction to an awesome band, well done!
I think this is the best version of this song! Better than the original studio recording in my opinion.
Best band ever led zeppelin the definition of rock and roll greatest band ever to walk planet earth masters of instruments know Beatles know rolling stones know pink Floyd know who can match led zeppelin case dismissed
incredible!!
Personally I was more into Grandfunk Railroad in the 70's. But Zepplin was definitely the undisputed champs in the minds of most . Love the variety of music appreciation and knowledge you have..
They are THE GOLDEN GODS OF ROCK !!!
Lightning in a Bottle...
~Led Zeppelin Live
This concert was from 2007. They did this concert to pay tribute to the founder of Atlantic Records and the film you’re watching now was released in 2012.
My favorite musician on this track has to be Jhon Paul Jones. Wow.
Yes, JPJ was in a way the secret sauce .. all of them were immensely talented. We just never talk about JPJ enough.
Cheers 🍺
I loved your analysis of this song. I would have to agree that it does sound cinematic. I hope you get to react to immigrant song by Led Zeppelin.
They are in their 60s here. 37 years after they launched this band. Greatest band in history ....not ever debatable
Of course it's debatable. No band is the definitive best. I love Zeppelin, but other bands too.
With your son they haven't missed a beat but we all miss you rest in peace my brother
One of my favorite songs. Best Rock and Rock band ever
John Bonham the drummer passed away in 1980
*Sept.1980
For the peak of Led Zepplin (in my opinion) you should do the studio version of Rain Song. It's one of the most perfectly crafted and performed songs in the rock canon.
Damn what an endless don't want it to stop ending such intensity from all I know you're smiling down on your son he is beating you hell out of those drugs
And drums...
...and this is what it was all about. Bands, or at least the best ones, would play live and give 110%. Hang it WAY out over the edge. This is why the Zeps are still idolized. The power they put out is just overwhelming. (Ditto The Who...maybe the greatest live band...and Tull and Humble Pie and ELP and a whole bunch more. Those were the days!)
These are the original Rock Gods.
"Obviously the band are a little bit older here."
You've no idea, but like wine... they've aged beautifully!
Yes hello it's me again hi there yeah Led Zeppelin can't go wrong with those guys they're good back in the days and they're still good in today's Days good music to listen to I probably got an album of their sitting around here I got a lot of records from the olden days anyhow keep doing what you're doing I'll wait for your next video from Canada Toronto Scarborough Ontario God bless be safe Carl Supertramp Garnett God bless be safe

Hey Miss Dani. Looking chill mate. Well No, it’s not very sunny and warm here. Please don’t rub it in. Next month will be freakin Winter. All parts of my body seem to have stalactites growing off of me. I even found some icy wet cold mould festering in my pits. But that’s okay mate, I’ll be fine back here. Please just keep enjoying your lovely sunny warm fresh days. I see you’re even getting a nice tan too.Well done mate. So, LED Zeppelin eh? Yes ma’am. Thank you. Dig this reaction. More please.👍🇦🇺🤪😜🤩🇦🇺☮️
Excuse me ..1968 they began. This was 2007. 39 years after they started out as Led Zeppelin. Almost 40 years later they still sound this incredible. That's the original drummers son on drums as the drummer ...his father...died in September 1980
This was a get back together after being retired. This is 32 years after it was first recorded.
yes, there is an incredible earnestness to this song.
You should react to their song you shook me
Led Zeppelin are beautiful and esoteric
Nothing like led zeppelin, or Dani Atkinson. You both rule. Be safe and stay young and so beautiful Dani. You own me, lol. Mitch.
Keep researching and you will dig up gold for sure little sister. Music is good for our souls.
Music is the best for the soul. Thank you.
Dani you should react to Pink Floyd comfortably numb in Pompeii👍 really love your channel💓you are one of the best reactors in yt👍
Yes, this is on my list!! Thank you for that humongous compliment!
Led Zeppelin were a force of Nature, astonishing & eternal.
We were all so lucky.
(I Iike the original & remastered versions best)
So glad you did this reaction. Great job with it young lady!
Best rock band in history, period.
Dani and let me just add you are awesome such a beautiful young lady thank you
Very astute. It was there final performance of song Unfortunately they will probably never do this together again. You are so sensitive to what is going on with and inside the music.
Wow! Crazy how I picked up on that emotion!! Even I'm impressed with myself! haha!
Great guitar playing he plays with such ease but so f****** powerful excuse the language one of the Great guitar players of all time
This was 2008 28 years after their break up due to John Bonham's death. They remain so popular that they had to hold a lottery for tickets because they had 20 million ticket request if it was today they'd probably have the same if not more ticket requests.
Yep just a "little older" lol😂
Greatest rock band in history.
Awesome reaction! You should check out Zeppelin Ten Years Gone studio cut.
Greetings from Bonnie Scotland - Can you react to Led Zeppelin = Babe, I'm Gonna Leave from 1969 There is a video from a Live TV Show in Denmark, (These guys were all in their late teens and early 20s back then. "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave is an awesome Zeppelin classic.
Yeah, a NY girl! This is the best Live version of this song out there and it's not bad.Especially since everyone but the drummer is over 60 years old here. But this is one of the few times I think the studio version is better than any of the live versions. This concert was from around 2005. The song came out 30 years earlier. It was the one and only show they had played a complete concert together since I think 1979. They had to sell the tickets by lottery because millions of people wanted them. Also I think one dude payed almost 200k for them.
Gteat song from the british band. Thank you for reacting Dani 😀
Thanks dani
GREATEST BAND THERE EVER WAS...OR EVER WILL BE!!
PERIOD.
CASE CLOSED.
20,000,000 Fans applied to get tickets to this show!
(Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Mick).
The stop at 3:33 is killing everyone.
This was a one off reunion concert. Something like 10,000,000 ticket requests.
Just so you know, John Bonham the Drummer died in 1979 or 1980, Playing with the band is Jason Bonham.
If you look up the definition of the word Epic in the dictionary, you will be referred to this performance.
THE GOATS....PERIOD!!!!! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 For how good the kids is on the skins, his father was that much better. And he would tell you that. Do yourself a favor, and check out the 1973 Madison Square Garden Concert. Start with Since I’ve been loving you. It’s a great blue tune.
