Welcome to Toronto bro!! If you're looking for the best pizza in the city you gotta try Badiali. If you don't get a chance though, North of Brooklyn is also pretty good. Also Toronto is so diverse and multicultural that you'll be able to find good food from any culture/cuisine, you just gotta know where to look.
McDonald's poutine is ok for a craving, but my preference is DQ's, or KFC. The best poutine I've had in my life was, I believe, at Fancy Frank's in Toronto. They took this specific item off the menu since I had it, but it was a grilled cheese poutine. Just their poutine with chunks of cut up grilled cheese mixed in. The carb overload was exquisite. They still sell poutine there but it looks like they focused more on the meaty side of toppings. That's the one I can suggest from personal experience.
This might sound crazy to you, but my Toronto people will agree. Costco might have some of the best poutine in the city. Give it a shot if you can get your hands on it.
I remember getting off evening shift as a HCA, and going through the drive through grabbing a poutine, they forgot me at the last window😂 The poutine was pretty good. I usually order small fries a regular burger, no cheese, extra pickles, and an apple pie. My bro recently took me to McDonald's just to catch up, and he was like wtf is that! Sometimes I will order a Big Mac. I still order fast food, maybe every month and a half or so. But I like more Subway. Love your videos. Actually I was born and raised in Canada, I have never had their Chicken burger. Always wanted to try the spicy one. Goals lol.
I don't have any specific suggestions for places to get good Poutine, but my go to types are either just plain (cheese/gravy/fries) or pulled pork added. One thing I like to add is malt vinegar though.
Five Guys has the best poutine in my opinion but not all locations here in Canada have it. Fresh cut fries, rich gravy and cheese curds is all you need!
Welcome to Toronto! You defs gotta try Burger’s Priest, Pizzaria Badiali’s, North of Brooklyn (specifically the killer bee) and of course if you’re in Toronto you have to try Pai! Hope you enjoy your stay!
KBD, the drunken, bigoted racist who desperately tries to find other larger UA-camrs willing to give him the time of day hoping for a collab thinking it might get his views up. He is always complaining about how broke he is and how he needs money so he can travel. Then he films himself spending $100 to get himsepf a couple of steaks to gorge himself on. The guy has no idea what it actually means to be broke. He is just complaining that he can't travel around like other more successful UA-camrs in the food niche.
My dude! Welcome to the 6ix - enjoy your stay. Plenty of amazing food in this city, and I hope you get to try as much as you can before you bounce. Dirty Donald's won't do you dirty in a pinch with their poutine, but if you can, try to get down to Nom Nom for a crazy poutine. Feeling like something semi-traditional with way more options, give Smoke's Poutinerie a shot.
French Canadian here: McDo's poutine is like sushi made with Uncle Ben's instant rice. The gravy taste like cat breath mixed with watered down cumin and celery salt. If you want the most "authentic" poutine experience, *La Belle Province* is your best bet. Not necessarily the "best" per se but it's a good start. Only in the province of Québec though. And if you happen to go to Montreal, make sure to stop to *La Banquise* for the ultimate hangover munchies heaven!
ANY fastfood poutine, isn't authentic. The closest would probably be Harvey's. I'd even bypass any poutineries you find. Just go to Quebec and have it from a real restaurant 😊
McPoutine is OK but you'll find much better mom-and-pop poutines. One good chain resto for poutine is "Smoke's Poutinerie" - dozens of varieties. Their Slaughterhouse Poutine has six meats.
You asked about poutine. I'm sorry I don't do take out very often. But enjoy it when I do. When I treat myself I usually make my own. Home cooked fries with Russet potatoes. A homemade Turkey or Chicken gravy. And Cheese Curd from Wilton Cheese factory. ( White kind ).
If you want a bougie supper or retreat, Langdon Hall (located in the Kitchener Cambridge area) has delicious food. It’s worth every penny. Michelin recommended
As a true blue Canadian, I will tell you what I think of McDonald's poutine. It's the Red Lobster of seafood. Not exactly the fine stuff, but it will do.
I do enjoy the McDonald's poutine a lot! It's legit! I'd also suggest La Banquise in Montreal but it's quite overrated and touristic now, Fromagerie Victora for the cheese, and some cheap classic poutine for me growing up are from Belle Province and Lafleur. Also not gonna lie, Costco has a decent one too.
As a canadian and a former employee of mcdonalds, the big mac no meat usually gets subbed with tomato instead of the burger patties instead of it just thing bread, sauce and lettuce with pickles. I've personally never tried it but it's a vegetarian option. As for the poutine, it's not the best but it curves the craving. I've had authentic poutine from Quebec and it is very different but mcdonalds isn't the worst one I've ever tried. It's expensive in my opinion for what it is. I know the Jr chicken is different in the states but it's one of my favs to get when I need something small and some spice. I like to make it like a Mac tho so and it's so much better that way.

Badiali is a must try. He would also love King Slice
My son often likes the Thai chicken poutine at Benny & Co, but best poutine are in small snack place in Quebec.
big mac no meat is for vegetarians because for some reason they will not put a veggie burger on the menu which as a Canadian I find obsurd!!!
Should have tried the Spicy McCrispy, the Firecracker McCrispy, or the Cajun Ranch McCrispy. They are all amazing :D
Meetup in Vancouver if you ever come, please! I've been a subscriber since before you hit 25k!
Give it a shot if you can get your hands on it.
in Toronto? what costco?
@@TeresaS-q7xliterally any of the Costco’s in Toronto
Alberta Costco Poutine is solid as well.
Valid
Goals lol.
yo Ben Deen love the vids, you should try some a and w while your up in canada
I don't have any specific suggestions for places to get good Poutine, but my go to types are either just plain (cheese/gravy/fries) or pulled pork added. One thing I like to add is malt vinegar though.
best poutine in Canada is in Quebec, try Montreal bro
nobody cares about Quebec. Toronto is the only relevant city in this turd nation
North of Brooklyn is amazing, I definitely vouch
You should try the buffalo crispy chicken poutine (ask for green onions). Bussing.
Never thought I'd see a shout out to KBD in a BenDeen video. Loving seeing you in my hometown
Thank you!
I worked at mcdonalds for 2 years and you’d be surprised at how many people order the big mac no meat
Yes. God bless BenDeen and God bless President Trump 🙏
I would love to see a video on shelby's! their wraps look small but are very filling so I look forward to a video on it :]
@@fatkart7641 💯 This is the way!
And its Poutine not pouteen. I cringe when I hear English people say it like "pouteen".
I'd say the big mac with no meat is just a cheap way to had a vegetarian option on the menu
As a quebecois, McDonald's poutine is ok. Definitely not the best version of it but it does the job.
It is what I thought it was…and we let them off the hook! 😂😂😂
I can binge your vids for hours!
The vibe in here is perfect!
being in Canada i used to get Junior Chickens dressed as a big mac. when i was 18 and stoned at midnight i'd eat like 6 of those lol
You finally came to Canada! 🇨🇦😂
Mcdonald’s poutine is really just ok, you gotta go to a family owned restaurant to try the real stuff.
Getting mcdonald poutine is crazy and i don’t even live in canada😂
If you want a bougie supper or retreat, Langdon Hall (located in the Kitchener Cambridge area) has delicious food. It’s worth every penny. Michelin recommended
Wooo welcome to Canada ! FYI go to The Burger's Priest
"That's a disgrace"
>still eats half of the entire sandwich in under 2 seconds
McDonald's Canada still has the Monopoly thing? Damn, what a throwback.
forrealllll
every year. it was a nightmare working during monopoly season lmao
Did they cancel it in the US?
@kyledude2863 yeah dude, this hasn’t been a thing since like the mid 2000s.
We’ve literally just had it in the Uk. I’m surprised the US don’t have it.
As a true blue Canadian, I will tell you what I think of McDonald's poutine. It's the Red Lobster of seafood. Not exactly the fine stuff, but it will do.
10:02 Shout-out to KDBProductionsTV ......wow!!
P.S. Ken Domik is an ASS...... IYKYK.
Sorry you feel that way :(
Well that’s just rude
I do enjoy the McDonald's poutine a lot! It's legit! I'd also suggest La Banquise in Montreal but it's quite overrated and touristic now, Fromagerie Victora for the cheese, and some cheap classic poutine for me growing up are from Belle Province and Lafleur. Also not gonna lie, Costco has a decent one too.
you gotta try the breakfast griddle sandwiches if you want some maple. Idk if its also an American thing but by far the best menu item
C'est la première fois qu'une vidéo me donne autant faim !! si mcdo etait pas fermé a cette heure j'aurais fait chauffer mon auto a -20 degrée pour aller m'empiffrer
This is the first time a video has made me so hungry!! If McDonald's wasn't closed at this time I would have heated my car to -20 degrees to go eat
If the cheese curds remain squeaky when hot, this is already better than 90% of "legit" poutines.
Buffalo sauce: 1 large jar Franks redhot sauce, 1 stick butter, and 1 pkg dry Italian dressing mix. Melt butter, mix ingredients = buffalo sauce.
