One of my favorite trail sections to hike. Joliet to Lockport about 9 mile hike round trip. Too bad you didn't stop to see the Old Joliet Prison just east of the path near The Iron Works.
Thanks! I didn’t realize the prison was so close to the trail. Can you actually get into the parking lot to see the outside or do you have to stay at the sidewalk by the street?

Great ride today, plenty of pictures and enjoyed all the old history down to Iron works.
Nice to see you're exploring the trails in that area! Next time we're on this trail we're gonna eat in Lockport!
