! of my favorate songs. When I was in rehab in the 90s i missed my sisters so much. This song means alot 2 me. When ever i hear it brings back those memories.
God, now I really miss the early and mid 90's. The music was often simpler but heartfelt and beautiful for the emotion like in this song. Now I can't stand what's on radio these days.
The 90's music will be missed but never forgotten. I wish there was bands like this today, well there out there but mainstream media does not wont that talent anymore. Sad.
This is a great song; I love it. It has a different meaning for me than for most people. I have two daughters who moved away w/ their mom and stepdad (yes, ironically enough to a town on the ocean) about four years ago. The lines "When I close my eyes, I see you walking in... I see you dancing in my mind" open the good ol' teargates BIG time. Dad misses you, girls!
Back when I was living in university residence in the late 1990's, a couple of dorm friends used to play this song alot...so hearing this song takes me back in time to some pretty damn good memories of being young and carefree
I miss college radio. I miss this era. MTV was booming with rock videos, us kids were crowd surfing, and we were picking up guitars to learn the simple chords the bands were using...so we could impress the girls. Now it's all hip hop and reality tv. Some days I wish I could go back to the early 90's when the internet was relatively unknown, cell phones were too expensive for every 8 year old to have one, and guys from Seattle were tearing it up on the radio. Those were the days...
We used to have radio stations strictly devoted to alternative rock in the 90s. As a kid I'd stay up in my room and listen intently until this song came on. Then I'd peacefully go to sleep happy. Thanks, Nixons.
80's and 90s were the best for music. there's a few bands that intertwined to make these bands. thank god for led Zeppelin, skynard, Byrd's, Janice, Jimi, Jim, Johnny, Tesla, crows, journey, Merle, for now we have Nixon's, all the Seattle bands, tool, slip knot and whoever you may like. god bless, love u all✌
It was truly something to behold, man. I'm lucky to have lived it. Sadly, back then, we all thought it would always be like that. Now I'm well into my 30's, and so much has changed for me personally, and in the world around me.
Sister, I see you, dancing on the stage of memories...I love you Reece Ammons...I miss you my sweet brother...Born of the same vine...entwined...you and I
Where did the music go? I miss those days, it's sad to see what my kids have to grow up with now. The talent is gone well theres still some out there but the madea wonts hip-hop and rap. But at lest we can say we were there and got to love them days.
I miss you Dawny. I love you. Think about you every day and every one else. There is one plot left and it probably will be mine. I will see you all in heaven. Miss you all every day. Rose D'Angelo. This song was ours.
zac is living in tulsa, oklahoma - producing his own music and music for others. most recently he's opened a recording studio and written for daugherty and a couple of new bands.
@WarmothGuitarist Amen brother!!!!!! The only kid who had a cell phone back then was Zack Morris!!!!!. I saw this band open for Candlebox. That was a hell of a night. I think it was 94 or 95. He did this song solo with an auocustic guitar.
What ever happen to the bass player and the other guitar player in this video? The drummer plays for Seether and zac is writing music in nashville I think.
As you listed: John is drumming for Seether and having a ball....Zac owns a studion in Tulsa, produces, writes, performs, etc......Jesse owns a liquor store and has a few projects.....Ricky has popped in and out of things, but I don't have much on him.
As a child of the 80s I have a much differn't view then you. I remember a conservative out of touch President who lied to congress and old weapons to our enemies. I remember a time of hate and lack of understand for people who were differnt.
should have been bigger than they were :/ i miss this kind of music... now adays they just get a "pretty face" and someone else to write there songs for them and slap in an assload of auto-tune and a worthless shit "artist" becomes a "star"

Dear 90s,

My favorite band of the 90's!
My all-time favorite song!!!
What a great performance! Thanks for posting!!
Ricky is in OKC and and has pursued other hobbies of his outside of music. He's a good friend of mine.
the funny thing is he sings more powerful that he did on the record.
really underrated band in the 90's, just about all the tract's are great.

I love this song, remember listening to this back in my high school days....And they sound a bit like Pearl Jam
Only a couple songs I ran across sound a lot like Pearl jam lol. Then the song fail reminds me of matchbox 20. Sounds very 90's that's for sure
The singer's voice reminds me of Eddie Vedder but the overall sound of the music reminds me more of Matchbox Twenty.
I miss you Dawny. I love you. Think about you every day and every one else. There is one plot left and it probably will be mine. I will see you all in heaven. Miss you all every day. Rose D'Angelo. This song was ours.
I miss the 90s bad !!!! Things seemed more easy. Maybe because I was a teen, but i sure miss it
Man... You are making me jealous... I would have loved to be there back then.
zac is living in tulsa, oklahoma - producing his own music and music for others. most recently he's opened a recording studio and written for daugherty and a couple of new bands.

There's always bad bands that copy great bands.... The Nixons copying Pearl Jam... Hinder copying GnR... The cycle never ends.
@byspanky Sucks? Check out Seether bro, he tears the shit outta the drums.
