Written by Allen Collins, but superbly arranged by Steve Gains to show the amazing abilities of all 3 guitar players. No egos at all. Just doing what was right for a great song with an unbelievable lyric by Mr. RVZ....

Both Allen and Steve are Legends & killer soloists, but I have always been partial to Gary and the sublime reserved soulfullness. Its not notes per minute, its sould per minute. Great job, thanks. RIP LS
When I was suppose to be doing homework in high school I would watch these videos and get absolutely less than nothing done, wishing I had the commitment to belt this shit out one day.. Some 10 years later and I’m laughing my ass off behind my desks at work, getting absolutely less than nothing done. Thanks for the continued content, even the strongest men need air guitar role models when we’re in the car/shower.
I had to watch this three times in a row. You absolutely nailed it Tone and everything. I 8 tracked myself doing this song 20 plus years ago. I played everything other than the drums. I was pretty proud of myself how it turned out. Remember this was all analog back then. This was always my favorite jamming Skynyrd song. Needle and the spoon and simple man was fun to do also. It was fun playing and mixing all them guitar parts. I never left my bedroom.

Dude that was bad ass. I truly believe lynyrd skynyrds guitar work was underrated. Very finger tangling solos in this song.
