That smell was a hit single from the bands final album before the horrible plane crash called Street Survivors. The album was released in 1977 and is considered one of the band's greatest albums next to the debut.
That smell also contains one of Lynyrd Skynyrd's greatest gutiar solos. It features all three guitarists who were in the band at the time. Gary Rossington, Allen Collins and Steve Gains. The guitar solos blend together so perfectly that at times it sounds like one guitar. I hope you enjoy learning this incredible solo
