I appreciate how clean the previous owners left the house for you guys. That’s sure not always a given. :) I also like how the house turned out! Awesome tile in the shower, so beautiful!
This was the longest 2 months of my life!! 🥺 😢😅😊
Thank you for your patience!! We missed it too
Literally I thought they stopped posting
I know, I was so excited when I saw a new video!!
I missed y'all so much glad your back. I've been watching y'all since 2020.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for all your support
Same!
honestly i prefer not having an open house plan i dont like for ppl to be able to straight away see my dirty dishes from the living room
Looks good! I would have added one or two more shelves in the lower part of the pantry. I’m not sure why you started at waist height.
The new intro is awesome
For backyard some low water plants in flower beds would add some life to the backyard. I just started watching.
Joey KILLING IT!! Another great episode
Another option on the pantry would have been to combine laundry and pantry. A narrower window at the end would have let light into the space. The cabinet next to the range in the kitchen could be wider, always handy.
they already had a laundry room
Sorry but charcoal + beige and orange roof doesn't match at all, bad pick for exterior colors
I think in a house with ceilings that high, you would almost need to make it open concept. Taking away the window in the breakfast nook killed me, but you did such an amazing job turning that space into a pantry! Opening up the kitchen let in enough natural light anyway.
I love it when you guys explain why you have to do certain things. In a previous video, you explained the issue with foundations in Texas, and I really appreciated it because where I'm from, that's a rare issue that's very serious. It's interesting that in another part of the world, it's not unusual.
You did a great job tying in the roof colour with the trim outside 👏 I love how just matching the shade of the eavestrough and the mulch out front made the house look really classy.
I miss the music from your original intro, but I like the new look 😊 Also, that shade of pink looks fire on Lauren!
Am I the only one who thinks double vanities are a huge waste of counter space?
I agree. My husband and I never had to get ready at the same time so we would not need two sinks. Plus I hate to clean! lol
Absolutely
The house was good before but the new layout is so much better. I love how you carried the lower cabinets through the dining area. It makes it seem like a butler’s pantry.
Great job on this one Team AF. (Btw, Lincoln is 6’1”)
Thought gray tiles aged the house since that look is 5 years old already. Open living area is absolutely worth all the effort!
Lincoln needs to remind us of his height in every video! I genuinely look forward to this.
These episodes look like something on HGTV great video!
We are looking to buy in this area in Austin! $390k for the original house was a good price! Too bad the foundation had issues, that is something the new buyer would have had to fix no matter what.
This was a fun flip. I don’t know why the style of the video felt different but I loved seeing so much of the process of designing, then the renovating, before the final numbers. This would be anyone’s ideal flip. I would have a hard time letting it go cuz I’d want to keep it for myself. 👀 good work as always
I wanted to see what the exterior of the window removal looked like! I need to do this to my house…
me too
I think the brick on the outside of the house in front would have looked nicer painted white as shown in your initial mockup but the inside of the house was spot on. How do you normally treat your drywall - smooth or orange peel look or...? The two commercial breaks was a bit too long when compared with the overall duration of the show but I also appreciate the need to make these videos that I enjoy so much a worthwhile investment for you guys!
The tiles in both bathrooms are fantastic.
Thank you!
Woot woot for going to Level 2 and paying over $600 this month. Awesome progress!
Love the new intro!!!!
Live the intro. It really goes with y’all😊
Thank you!
I'm loving where your brand is heading guys ❤️
Overall I love this new vibe for your video!! It's a gorgeous house!! Loved the transformation!! Much love from toronto!! Keep these videos coming!!
I was so doubtful about not changing up the master bath, but I liked it!! If I bought this house I'd be really happy and wouldn't think twice about the layout thanks to the modern touches they made.
Really appreciate how you broke down the numbers on this one!
As a New Mexican, we're used to being forgotten, especially by Texans. "One of Our 50 is Missing" is a whole thing. New Mexicans are routinely asked for passports in other states.
Real nice renovation!
Lincoln omg man you’re looking so so good!👍💯👌
damn it came out clean, but that gap between the baseboard and floor @ 30:21 sticks out like a sore thumb
Great job and enjoyable video! I would have loved the dishwascher to the right of the sink, so while one person cooks the other can load/unload the dishwasher. Also big drawers in the island instead of cabinets, so much easier to accept also those pesky little tupperware containers etc. Can't wait for your next project!
I've got a shell sink in my powder room and I think it's awesome! Not all shell sinks make a room look dated.
I like the gray color but not the "wine rack" for the whole dpace. Mixed couple wine racks then shelves for bar alcohol. Or a book shelf nook.
Nice flip, L&L!
Why are houses built with garages so prominent and you have to look for the front!
Less property. If the garage was on the side you would have to make a driveway bend and it would take a lot more space. Also for it to be considered a two car garage the gate needs to be 16 feet wide. Most houses only have about 6 ft between them.
We stopped using alleyways and started worshiping transportation by car.🤷♂️
@@joshua_a_boehm it's much more convenient especially for a family to have a car. I lived in Vienna for two years, especially with children its so hard to go anywhere on foot/public transportation. Also, it takes a lot longer.
@@allalala9916
You can have alleyways with garages facing the alley. Keep the trash pick up and cars in back. In front preserve the aesthetics of the street and mininize curb cuts which is better for walking/biking.
@@joshua_a_boehm cement for a long driveway is pretty pricey to replace when it cracks. I agree that it looks better though.
Hey Lincoln, I loved your performance in the Netflix series Bodkin 👏
Hahaha honestly I see it
Omg, finally.
Love the tile in the shower. Just once could you leave some of the brick alone? Painting it removes all character
I have no choice but to paint my brick fireplace. It is old and needs repointing. My husband said if he does it we have to paint it but if we hire someone it will cost thousands of dollars we don't have. I know I will cry that day.
What software are yall using to create those 3D models/mockups? Also great job yall!! 🎉❤
SketchUp!
How do you feel the Austin market is headed?
28.39....didn't paint under the cabinets! That bothers me lol
This video feels so much different from the usual Austin Flipsters. I didn’t feel the excitement, the interviews felt uncomfortable and overall I found myself somewhat bored. Not sure how or why the format was changed, but I don’t think it’s for the better.
It's been a long time. I thought the market had affected y'all so there would be less and less videos to be made. Harder to flip these days I'm sure.
What software do you use to render?
Hi Lauren, Linkion, have you guys lose money from flip? I know it's hard for Austin until 2022. Did you guys change strategies after 2022 or you just work on less project/more cautious.
Lincoln
Great flip.
REPUBLIC INVESTORS Unite: The people who invested in Austin Flipsters through Republic are desperately seeking an update on our investment. It has been years since the closing of that deal. Can we get an update in the coming week through Republic?
It a new introduction video
What color of nucore?
NEW INTRO ❤🩹
Too much white for me but over all👏👏👏👏👏👊👌🔥
The paper profit to the client buyer was $32k. What % of that goes to the Flipsters? They can't do this for nothing?
Love the whole thing & transformation but I miss the shorter videos. This is too dragging.. maybe you can limit back to maximum 15-20 minutes. Most people’s attention span including mine are not that long..
I just don't get the obsession with double vanities. Do people do synchronized teeth brushing or something? More counter space instead!
Completely agree!!
Yeah and double the sink and taps to clean
I'm with you on this
agree!
Double vanity is a must in my house. My husband and I wake up at the same time. We can get ready at the same time without one of us having to use the kids bathroom. And because there is less counter space, there is less to clean and it forces us to keep the counter clutter free.
How much tax will we pay if we earn $500,000 a year with this job?
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤
Is it me, or does the quality of this video feels like it was filmed like 5 years ago?
🙂🙂🙂
With all these flipper videos I think Lauren is afraid of walls?? LOL And she loves a shower that you can fit an entire rave party in ... LOL Great videos as always :) EDIT: Lauren and Lincoln PLEASE put some color into your FLIPS... LOL Tighty whities is a bit drab ;)
House looks good but so over the gray.....
Why is American stove so ugly?? With the microwave above, looks horrendous, gives such a old vibe to this nice and beautiful kitchen
“But not to each other” makes me cringe every time
Why? I love that part. 😂
Walk in clothes in the bathroom= musty smelling clothes.
I've lived with a walk in closet in a bathroom and that is not true.
As long as you have the right air ventilation. That shouldn't happen.
@@dichang3 we turned on the fan every single time we used the shower, the clothes still smelled musty. Also we had some tools in that closet (because no garage, attic, or shed) and the tools got rusty. We had a long narrow bathroom, first the vanity, then toilet then shower/bath, lastly a door to the closet at the very end on the opposite wall of the entry. The house was full of useless long hallways.
Gosh I missed y’all!!!🫂 next level stuff! Worth the wait. Northwest Arkansas loves y’all!
Glad we made it worth it! Thanks for watching!
