I finally just figured out the brand and model after years of trying to figure it out every few months. Any ideas how I could maybe get my hands on one again if it's discontinued? I'm not sure that button lock is strong enough
Strong enough for what exactly? If you use it as a knife which is a cutting tool then it's 100% strong enough; but if you plan to use it as a back-up Louisville Slugger then yeah, you may have some issues. Civivi/Sencut/WE knives have been tested by many credible individuals in the community, including myself, and out of all the button locks on the market, my Civivi/WE button locks are the only models that haven't had any failure from a minimal spine whack test. This knife along with all of their other button locking models are more than strong enough for its intended purpose of use. Don't do low IQ tasks with a button lock pocket knife and in return it will serve its purpose well.
@@wes.killed.it.5511 I feel like I've touched a nerve here. ..but sometimes I do stupid shit on the farm with the tool I have in my pocket. It is not intentionally nor planned and shit happens . Love the design don't trust the button lock. I should probably use a fixed blade then again a fixed blade isn't fidgety like a folder is and I am a45 year old child. That being said I am sorry if I offended anyone with my opinion on button locks. I apologize to nobody.
There are certainly stronger locks out there than the button lock. But the button lock is definitely strong enough for most task that you would expect from an EDC pocket knife. I believe it would take a significant amount of force and pressure on the mechanism to cause it to fail. More than what the average man could apply to it with bare hands. With that said, it’s definitely not going to withstand the forces like some of the other locks out there. That’s one good reason for owning multiple knives.
