I think I've seen more of the Cape watching this series than all the other 4wd shows put together. I enjoyed every second of it. Happy father's Day mate
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
G'day Tyler. Happy Fathers Day! Thanks for putting up these videos. Very inspirational. You're a family man (growing again soon) & we love to watch the interaction between you & Kai. The reason you are getting soo popular is because you are slowly becoming Blonde Roothy! Lots of 4wd Action readers (remember magazines) loved watching Roothy and the passion he had for the bush and for the adventure. You have mechanical sympathy. You care about what you do & don't "just send it" to be a HERO for video footage. Don't stop doing what you do legend! I'd love for my work & family life to be flexible enough to be able to travel like you do.
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
11:23 Just waiting for you turn around and go running after the fire 🔥😂. Always great vids mate. 👌 #livingthedream
🤣🤣🤣 yep saw that too!!
Thanks for sharing Tyler. Awesome river crossing. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there in lockdown watching 4x4 vids.
I pay credit Tyler .👍👍This is the first time I’ve seen a return drive from the tip ,as a lot of the other $$$$$$$ 4x4 shows never do.
didnt 4wd247 do it ? maybe the tele trac in reverse
@@youtubecarspottersguide1 Yeah, they showed it in reverse. Is it where they had to turn back from a deep Pascoe River?
Cheers mate
Great show mate and enjoyed the ride. Thanks alot for all your efforts
Glad you enjoyed it
Great Video Tyler thanks for your honesty shows through that you say how it is.
Also great to see your with your Son enjoying together.

Thanks Tyler, I really miss that country. Kinda sad I'm getting on in years and losing time to covid lockdowns, never thought it would be like this. All the best, keep doing what you do and sharing.
Another great series mate!! Was so good to see more of the cape then are in most vids and esp more parts of the Tele track that aren’t shown. Can’t wait to see what’s next…..
Glad you enjoyed it mate!
Great video mate. I reckon this is your best one yet. Cracking editing 👌🏼
It was great to see more of the Cape than just the usual highlights. I love how you do these in series. Keep it up mate!

Awesome trip and video series. Beach runs, water crossings and tough tracks, what an adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks mate!
Loving the Cape series! Its great to see you getting out there and driving the vehicle to the max.
Glad you like them!
You really gave a great down to earth and informative perspective of Cape York. Very enjoyable video and look forward to seeing what’s to come. Cheers mate.
Much appreciated!
Another great vid. Malaki’s pics are awesome too.
TT that was amazing, that water crossing had us all with our feet off the couch when you did it. Pascoe is not for the faint hearted...💪🤙
Thanks mate, sure was deep!
Another awesome vid Tyler 👍
Your experience certainly shows.
Well done Tyler 👍
These water crossings are killing me. Well done Tyler.
Awesome series mate! Glad you were able to have a blast despite of some car troubles getting there. It truly seems like a magical place. Keen to see the next series!
Thanks mate!
Another great part of your trip
Nice work boyz
Looks like an awesome trip. It's definitely on my bucket list
Thanks for another great video. I have welded on two star pickets some water pipe. So I use it for fishing rod holders. Next I have a hinged corrugated tin for wind break. Also a stake for a area light or wind break for swag. Or beach shelter. Multi use.
Navara got a nice wash crossing the Pascoe, awesome series Tyler
Awesome experience n series mate. Well done.
Another great series. Thanks 👏
Loved this series mate. I need to get back up there. Cheers Steve
Such a good realistic view of the cape and what's involved, myself and our little family are doing the cape solo this year and watching this series has got me so keen. What a trip for you and your young fella, I'm sure a trip he will be telling his kids about when he gets older.
Cheers mate, enjoy your trip!
Another cracking video. The quality of content and production continues to impress.

Thanks mate 😁
Nailed it again nice Vidio mate
Your young fella so lucky to get to do all this 👍🏼👍🏼
I’ve done a lot of 4wding in my time and watched a lot of 4wding videos in my time, absolute credit to your video work editing and the way you have shown how to drive an area where others make it out to be $100,000 vehicles or forget about it! You and your son should be so proud.
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Awesome episode! Decent flow in the Pascoe crossing too.
Yep sure was!
Awesome trip mate and great video 👍🍻
Thanks 👍
Great video buddy, thought the water was going to come in the window at the Pascoe River crossing. :)
Thanks mate, yep was bloody deep! haha

Another great video mate, i was waiting for your son to say STOP when you were halfway through the Pascoe river crossing LOL.
😂😂
Tyler, thanks for another great video. Happy Fathers Day!
cheers mate!
Another great vid Tyler. We couldn’t do Frenchman’s in May, was way too
Deep and flowing. Loved seeing your trip through there, future inspiration.
Thanks mate!
Tyler this is the best Cape York video series I have watched. And I have watched quiet a few. You do a brilliant job of showing us the real Tele track. Not just the hero parts.
I last travelled up there was back in 1989 in a stock standard little 1986 Holden Rodeo no winch or another extras, along with me was a 1986 Cruiser also no winch or big lift kit. WE did the entire Tele Track carrying all our fuel.(4x 60litre drums of Diesel in the back of the Rodeo). The cruiser had a 200L tank in the tray. Only place I bogged the Rodeo was exiting the northern side of Cockatoo crossing.(Very sandy climb back than). The chasis broke on the way home at Batavia Downs. Welded it up on the side of the road and made it back to Cairns. How things have changed. Congrates on your hard work Mate. Keep up the good work and travel safe.
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Another great vid mate
Another epic video champ.
That Pascoe river crossing I was praying for you lol 👍🏽
Thanks mate!
Another great vid mate. Can't wait to tick this off.
Digging the new tunes
Thanks mate!
Top series this mate. I am new to the 4WD world, and I'm loving this kind of stuff whilst in lockdown. It's giving me inspiration to get out and see this amazing country we call home, as soon as we can. Sure, there's plenty of places overseas I want to experience with my family, but this big brown land has so much beauty and peace to offer as well. Cheers mate. Please keep cranking the videos out.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the series!
Thanks for sharing the places we don't normally see in Cape videos.
Glad you enjoyed it mate!
At the 11:50 mark, I was watching behind you… I had a Russell Coight thought with bushfire starting 🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂😂😂
Haha, me too.
Wow mate. After that car before you drowned then watching you my stomach was in my throat for you but you just glided through it! Legend.
Another great installment to your Cape trip... Fruit Bat Falls is just such an amazing place, brings back great memories. Next time I'm up there we are going to visit 5 beaches and also do the Frenchmans...
As always you do a great job with your filing and editing.👍😎
Thanks mate!
that cut to day 8, beautifull!
Another awesome video! 👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
11:44 you starting a bushfire 🤣
Awesome work across Pascoe river. Again, you made it look so easy. I'm sure it wasn't. Well done. ✊👌👍
Thanks mate 👍
my hats off to you doing it on your own!
thanks mate!
Loved this trip, been awesome
Great video mate. Still trying to get up to the cape. Glad you mentioned the RTT, was going to ask how it held up.
Awesome series Tyler! My wife and I are inspired!
Cheers!
Super vid. TT..Tops... Big bog hole you reversed on. Front lockers werent on....... Keep them comin... Me and my wife really enjoy the footage.... Fruit bat.. Majestic... Loved it there...
Thanks mate!
Very cool TT. Even though there’s lots of people up there it’s still pretty Ballsy to take it on by your self. 👍🏿
Nah it's fine to go solo. Everyone has recovery gear they're just waiting to use to help others out of trouble. You get as much help solo as you would in a big group, if you need it. Awesome place, awesome trip, solo is fine.
Another cracken vid dude. Cape is my number one place/ track I want to do. Happy Father’s Day mate. Cheers
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Another great episode Tyler. 👍👍
Thanks mate
Just sitting down to watch at the end of Father’s Day. Wife got me the TT hoodie as a pressie from the ankle biters. Stoked that XL turns out to be extra long not extra wide like most. Love your stuff mate especially the time with your son.
Cheers mate, glad you like the hoodie!
This episode made me bite the bullet. Your are the best person to support on Patreon. I want to see you succeed as I reckon you're a top bloke and UA-camr. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks mate, really appreciate the support!
first class m8 camera work is top stuff , love the music( totally awesome ) and the camp chair reviews lol
Much appreciated
That Nav Is a weapon 🤘
You do an awesome job filming and editing you give the big boys a run for their money
Cheers mate
Did the frenchmans a couple days ago, that navara is still there 😂 missing a couple parts these days though
Soo good
11:29 dude your starting a bush fire ! watching the final part of your trip is really painful, so want to experience the top end again... so so bad. thanks for sharing in your ty style, only multipart vid of the top end, apart from sams original chasing lines series that is captivating
very cool episode ! good work !
haha the very last advert I got for this video was a Telstra one ! "can I get the wifi password" ? lol .. I'm guessing a celfi might help a bit in certain areas . other than that nothing.
Haha cheers mate!
I think the word you're looking for is "Density" when describing water in diesel fuel. On another topic, I own an LC80 and I love it, but just ignore the people suggesting you should have bought a Land Cruiser or another brand instead of your Nav etc. IMO you've bought the "right" 4WD if it does what you want and meet and/or exceed your expectations - regardless of brand. Keep up the great adventures, and continue to share your hints and tips for each area you visit. It really helps people like me who are planning to tackle these areas for the first time when things open up again. Thanks 👍
Specific Gravity.
Cool photos 👍
Keep doing what your doing, great content, best 4wd footage of the cape area by far. How about a 5 minute review of those drifta chairs 👊💥👊
Thanks mate, appreciate!
What a mad dawg ..... Great Series, LOVED IT..... only one problem...... the series ran out haha, cant wait to see the next series ! What a great camera crew you have haha :D
Haha thanks mate 👌
Thanks for videos mate 👍 to do that trip solo is a big effort well done! I think Malakai has found his future calling as well 👌
Thanks mate!
The blue Navara was still there when we went through 8/7/21. It had been winched up that bank and out of the way
Wow. I really enjoyed this video. If I was looking at buying a new 4x4 I would definitely be looking at Navara. You torture yours so much and it takes it.
Thanks mate!
Mate, that Nissan has been kicked in the knackers over and over, I'm impressed. The Toyota boys are living in some sort of cult mind control daze. Nissan should be using you to promote their products.
Thanks mate!
That Navarra is awesome. I live in Canada, I've got an '18 frontier pro4x... I love it. I just wish there was more aftermarket stuff available for it like they have in Australia. Maybe with the new one that's coming we can finally have some aftermarket support for it
My Nav coped with the cape just fine. Landcruisers don't noticably do much better. GQ's, on the other hand...
@@AndyViant all 4wd's cope with the cape just fine. Landcruiser's definitely do cope best, not even a competition as they are built for the abuse. The price tag makes them a bit pointless unless you are using it for commercial stuff working and being abused and neglected for 30 years. But for good solid 4wd adventures without the toyota tax old gu & gq patrols and the new navs are pretty hard to beat.. looks pretty tough too
@@AiDOS__ Plenty of people would disagree over the Landcruiser versus Patrol thing. Everything I have seen over the years suggests that Landcruisers are easier to roll over, easier to break axles and swivel hubs in, break diffs and break transfer cases in, and their water pump failure rate is much higher.
Overall, their engine reliability is better, but if you were to put say a TD42 against any Landcruiser motor, I'd take the TD42 every time.
Funnily enough, the Army, for whom the Cape could easily become the front line of defence, don't use either.
Defenders and Wranglers will both far exceed the stock capabilities of either LC or Patrol.
So, to suggest that the LC has magic superpowers compared to other alternatives, suggests blind brand loyalty over rational testing.
Especially without any data to back it up.
What I will say is that LC's are more common up there, but that's probably just good marketing than anything else.
A lot of work involved in what you do mate but the reward is well worth it 👍 🏴
Thanks!
Love the Nav mate, you don't want that #toyotalife experience hahaha.
If you have 100 cruisers on the track ,chances are that one of them ends up on tow truck 😉
Yep.
That blue navara that drowned in the pascoe is still there, just up the top.
Albeit a bit destroyed.
Pretty sad it got left there, bit of an eye sore now.
At 5:30 your gear bag on the back looks like it is stoned 😂
Hey mate just discovered you channel recently and it has been awesome to watch, we are looking forward to visiting some of these spots ourselves. Was just wondering we noticed in some of your vids you have a table like set up that sits over your fire pit, not sure if you mentioned it in one of your videos, just wondering what it is and where can we get one from. Thanks again for the great content.
Thanks mate! Glad you're enjoying the videos. fire pit table is from here
driftastockton.com.au
That fire looked like it was getting hectic after fruit bat falls 😂
Fruit bat falls is just absolutely stunning
Sure is mate!
Hi Greetings From UK.... What is the aerial on yr bumper passenger side the thick black one... and what radio do you use..👍🇬🇧
Go the navara!!
Funny how you can get to the cape and back without all the BS shows like 4wd24/7 carry on with. Loved your trip
Must be enticing to go into the water but only once you have to meet a croc. ! :)
Really interested in your fire pit - .looks very quick and easy to set up - what brand is it?
Great job again bro. Question dose water get into the van with deep crossing
Nope never get any water in
Personally I am a Ford fan, but the reliability of that Nissan has amazed me...
